Floratta in Gold

Powdery Peach-Vanilla. Love it. I think most people here in Brazil may not like it because we (Brazilians) did not have the habit to match a fragrance with weather or occasion. Scents were classified as good or bad. If you liked it in the moment you bought it, you would wear it anytime. So people ended up wearing heavy sweet scents in the summer, inside a crowded bus, or in other closes spaces, suffocating everyone around and making people hate some fragrances. Floratta in Gold is one of these fragrances people hate for the wrong reasons. In my opinion, even being a scent that exists for quite a while, and anyone has a story with it, is not a typical Brazilian fragrance, market wise. Is sweet and powdery, in a country known for being tropical and hot most of the year. Is not a bad fragrance, is just misplaced most of the time. FiG is a wonderful peach-vanilla powdery scent. You get the fruity of the peach and the grown-up sweetness of the vanilla (not a gourmet vanilla) and transform it into powder. Like a scented make up. I bet the powdery feeling comes from a mix of Heliotrope, Sandalwood and Amber (so you got the idea that is a warm fragrance) Is feminine and grown-up. Mature without being old. Lady like. Not to be used in hot weather, due to the heaviness of the powder feeling. Truly a "gold" scent. Reminds me of fancy galas. Expensive dresses. Crystal chandeliers and bright ballrooms. Like a fancy wedding. To me, is not sexy. Is classy. Safe for gifts, but never to be used in warm weather.

I love this perfume, it's simply wonderful! O Boticário has evolved over the setting of their fragrances and today they are very durable. The "Floratta in Gold" looks very, very much with the "Tresór" by Lâncome. It is sweet, smart, engaging, there is not as not to notice it and admire it. Perfect!

Amo, amo, amo, mas parece que só eu... já ouvi dizerem que é cheiro de senhora e até de percevejo (???) Mas eu sinto um cheiro feminino, solar, de frutas doces e fico muito triste pq parece que tenho um só pra ter, pq sempre que uso, recebo feedback negativo.

In small doses is very good. I love the smell. Just need one spray and you be able to smell it all day . Very feminine. I received a lot of compliments when i weare it. It ́s one of my favourites perfumes.

hm... adoro o cheiro, pena q seja tao popular. Sente-se muito bem a baunilha e o abacaxi.

Sweeeeet, that's what I remember about this fragrance. But for me it's not annoying like many "vanilla" scents! Well Zaleska, I was introduced to this fragrance by around 2002 too; my girlfriend had it, and I have good memories associated to it. Maybe that's the reason why I like. Has been many years since then, but I still know that it has a good sillage: time to time I can identify the smell around there, from some distance. Today, like it happens to another scents from O Boticário, there is a special edition, a box with the scent itself, a lotion, a soap and a jewel case. I saw it these days, in a shopping mall. Simple but nice gift ":¬).

Eu conhecia só de nome,ja tinha usado o florata in blue que é inofensivo,bem comum.Eu gostei desse achei delicado bem floral,tem cheiro de talco mas é suave.No começo parece que vai ser forte mas depois de uns 20 minutos se estabelece bem confortavél.Acho uma boa escolha para uso diario.Não acredito nessa de perfume da vovó,acredito no que combina com cada pele e gosto.Conheço jovens que combinam com lou lou,aromatic elixir de clinic,e que não gostam de Fantasy.Perfume é afinidade e não idade.

I once had a portuguese boyfriend who, having smelled a small sample of FiG i had with me, said "omg, this one is amazing! It smells like hot sex at the beach, sooo sexy!". I guess perfumes are also a cultural thing, because most brazilian men I know hate Floratta in Gold. Tresor and FiG are alike because they have the same "mommy" (Sophia Grojsman).

Não que seja ruim, pelo contrário. Esse perfume é refinado, ultra-feminino. Mas infelizmente muita gente o usa, então fica meio que "imitação de estilos".

maravilhoso! só que é muito conhecido, pois custa muito barato. uma garrafa do "trésor" dá pra comprar umas 10 garrafas "Florata in golde".

Só não o considero o pior do mundo porque ainda existem o Lou Lou, o Far Away(avon), e o Gabriela Sabatine lutando e se revezando pelo podium. Mas gente,pra minha mãe eu dou apenas o melhor, e se conscientemente eu considero este perfume 'coisa de gente velha', definitivamente não é com este que vou presenteá-la, pois a minha mãe e as pessoas idosas merecem o melhor do melhor, e na minha opinião nenhum dos Floratta são dignos de elogios. Pra mim não existe idade e nem sexo pra usar perfume, existe pele e estado de espírito. Existe o bom senso em saber dosar a quantidade, e existe a educação de saber em qual ocasião usar qual. Se gosta do Floratta (e ele combina com a pele), então sim, dê de presente, mas não por ser de gente velha, e sim, por refletir quem a pessoa presenteada é. But people, I give my mom just the best, and consciously I think this perfume 'something old people', this is definitely not going to give it away, because my mother and older people deserve the very best , and in my opinion none of Floratta are worthy of praise. For me there is no age nor sex to wear perfume, there is skin and mood. There is common sense to know dose amount, and there education to know on what occasion to use which. If you like Floratta (and it blends with the skin), then yes, give a gift, but not because old people, and yeah, it reflects who the person is gifted.

frankly crazy to read reviews connecting liking/hating this perfume to 'cultural differences'. You don't need to live in Brazil (which I don't) to hate this scent (which I do). It is a very vintage fragrance, yes, because it smells like it's a hundred billion years old. This is one of the most nursing home, deadmans-clothing-on-a-thrift-store scents I have had the displeasure to smell. The opening has a fruitiness that feels evasive, as if it was there to give you a glimpse to an universe where this could be an actually interesting perfume, but it never lasts for more than one second - it collapses into a talc-like mess of uncoordinated notes. Suffocating and disgusting.

O famoso Floratta Gold, quem não tem memória afetiva com esse que atire a primeira pedra! Muitos não entendem o cristal que é esse perfume e dizem não gostar... Realmente é um perfume diferente, mas de uma construção única e reconhecível a metros de distância. Abre com um cheiro brilhante de calda de abacaxi, elegante e extremamente cristalino. No coração, flores doces e limpas... honrando o nome do mesmo! O fundo doce, ambaroso e, ao mesmo tempo, oriental deixa tudo mais elegante e confortável, mas sem perder o brilho do início! Tenho memória afetiva com ele, então é difícil descrever exatamente o que sinto... Mas, de fato, é uma fragrância única e muito bem feita! Procurei por anos e anos até descobrir, perguntando a desconhecidos na rua quando sentia esse cheiro! Eu tinha uma professora da creche que usava o mesmo e, desde então, toda vez que eu sentia, lembrava da minha infância, e amar o cheiro, mesmo sem saber o nome, era imediato e inigualável! Apesar de, na minha pele, ele não ficar com o cheiro que sinto nos outros, eu amo muito essa fragrância. Toda vez que uso, imagino que devo causar a mesma sensação de quando sinto na pele dos outros! É, para mim, mais que um perfume, uma joia da minha coleção.

I wore this perfume for a long time and it became my signature scent. It is very feminine, cosy and warm ambar with vanilla, sweet but not cloying. I really like it, in the summer it seems the jasmine flowery aspect stands out and in the winter, the musky ambar is the star, which makes it a scent for all year (well, I'm a big floriental fan and life is too short to limit your perfume due to the season). I never got tired of smelling it and I would even spray my clothes and lingerie with it. But lovely as this perfume is, it has the same problem of all O Boticário fragrances: No longevity. I don't know what they do but at least on my skin their perfumes simply disappear. It seems they are not 'oily' enough to stick. I have to reapply the perfumes every couple of hours, otherwise it's as if I has never put them in the first place. Very annoying.

I have been looking for a fragrance with a subtle vintage vibe. I wanted something timeless and classy, but knew that some vintage scents would be too much for me and would end up forgotten at the back of my wardrobe. Floratta in Gold smells like a mother's hug. I have no kids and am almost 40, but this scent suits my lifestyle and personality. I'm not looking to smell like cotton candy 24/7 anymore. I feel so chic right now!

eu sentia o cheiro dele nas outras pessoas e achava uma fragrancia bem versatil sabe, podendo usar de dia ou a noite. mas agora que o tenho é meio que uma relaçao de amor e odio com floratta in gold. tem dias que eu o passo e adoro, e outros que detesto porque ele exala muito forte um cheiro enjoativo de abacaxi com jasmim. esse depende do humor da minha pele.
