Malbec Bleu

Malbec Blue is a classic shower-gel type fragrance with a nice sweetness from lavender, reminiscent of YSL Y EDT—just with weaker sillage and longevity. As a fresh shower-gel scent, I like it much more than most masculine, harsh shower-gel fragrances, mainly because of the perfectly fitting lavender, which is my favorite accord. Lavender gives the fragrance a clean, soapy touch that works absolutely perfectly for a shower-gel style scent. A lavender shower-gel fragrance with oakmoss in the background makes it the perfect companion for the office, business meetings, everyday wear, and gym. Besides classics like Men Classic and Zaad Mondo, Malbec Bleu is by far the best fresh shower-gel fragrance from O Boticário. In the drydown, the lavender note fades noticeably and the scent becomes more herbal-green, with more oakmoss coming through. The sillage is quite good for an EDT, and it’s absolutely perfect for a professional office setting—not too strong, yet still noticeable. Longevity should remain noticeable for about half to three-quarters of a workday in the office: very much present during the first 1–3 hours, but less so after around three hours. Overall, it’s a pleasant shower-gel fragrance in the style of YSL Y EDT, with sillage and longevity similar to many fresh Calvin Klein scents.

There is a lot more lavender in this than I expected and gives the first half of this fragrance and very fresh laundry like feel in the opening as it eventually becomes a slightly sweet oceanic feel. It definitely has this old school early 2000s calone kind of feel to the fragrance so I’m assuming that’s the aquazone note. I wish it had more of the wine barrel notes this line is known for as its very top note heavy and could use a bit more in the base notes to really flesh it out. It’s interesting as it’s marine and lavender woody fresh without being overly aquatic so it kind of feels like it’s missing the oceanic part of that equation. I get good projection through the first 2-3 hours, just seems to always feel it around me as I move with an overall longevity of 5 to 6 hours on skin and 8 hours on clothes.

Um bom perfume,mas em minha pele se transforma num perfume muito forte,que incomoda muita gente,mesmo com borrifadas de forma controlada,foge do conceito de perfume que agrada todo mundo e aquático,mas forminha sendo uma ótima fragrância.

Eu não sei se depcionei ou não com esse perfume. Começando pelo cheiro, apesar de não ser muito "Malbec", (por não ser muito amadeirado), ele é MUITO bom, refrescante e BEM aquatico. Já a perfomance... na minha pele fica no maximo umas 4 ou 5 horas, com uma projeção de mais ou menos 1 hora moderada. Se quer comprar esse perfume, teste ele, porque ele varia muito de pele para pele, tem gente que usa e ele fixa umas 8 horas, e tem gente que fica com cheiro de ovo por conta do aquasone. Mas em mim apesar do cheiro ter funcionado, sua perfomance podia ser maior na minha pele.

A fragrância não é necessariamente ruom, mas pela faixa de preço, tem coisa melhor. É um marinho, levemente salino, mas o que me incomoda é que são notas bem sintéticas para um perfume de 150.00 reais. Esse é o problema do perfume, 150 mangos por um perfume bem meia boca, tem opções de aquáticos mais em conta e melhores. Fixação: 4 horas na minha pela Projecão: Média por uma a duas horas Fragrância: Boa, apesar de sintética Custo Benefício: Zero, tem opções bem melhores pelo preço. Minha nota: 4/10

I bought several O'Boticario fragrances a few years ago and found them all to be pleasant, but rather familiar. Only one stuck out to me as one I would wear regularly. I know this label is something of the house brand in Brazil. I've heard them compared to Avon in the United States, a brand that seems a bit of a relic and one I never hear anyone talking about, especially with quality designer cheapies being available so readily on the internet. After hearing about "The Blend Bourbon" on the Rotten Rebel youtube channel, I figured I'd see what O'Boticario is up to these days. I was quite surprised to see such distinguished perfume icons like Nathalie Lorson and Alberto Morillas developing (or at least consulting on) these fragrances. So what better way to test how generic a house is than by sniffing their "bleu" flanker? Malbec Bleu is one of those fragrances that smells exactly how you would expect it to, which may not necessarily be a bad thing. The citrus on the opening is unfortunately covered up by a pretty strong alcohol sting. Once the alcohol subsides, the ginger and powdery sweet lavender really shine through and are quite pleasant, albeit kind of generic. After that, you get the seductively sweet woody drydown (Malbec's thing is evoking a wine cask) with a 90's aquatic note. Nothing marine here - it's a pool, not a beach. So yeah, Malbec Bleu is very pleasant, but generic and somewhat cheap smelling. This is a true bluquatic, capturing the middle ground between the Bleu de Chanel types and Light Blue or Aqua di Gio types. It's modern to the point of being dated, fi that makes sense. It's a mainstream scent that is not overpowering, so most people you walk past will think you smell good, albeit like many others who choose to wear fragrance in 2022. For the price I paid, it's perfectly fine, and you could even say it's a fair competitor to something like D&G Light Blue Intense. For my tastes, I'd probably recommend paying a bit more for something like Mr.Burberry EDP, which is a higher quality, smoother composition that evolves on the wearer and finds itself in more of a mature blue marine territory instead of blue aquatic

it smells better after around 1 hour in the skin, but overall it is a little bit too much synthetic and it kinda remembers me of soap. Not much too say, it is decent and lasts a good time (5-6hours) Not the most pleasing smell but it does the job 6/10

Não é o melhor da linha e nem o mais fresco tenho ele as vezes acho agradável e as vezes não dependendo das borrifadas ele incomoda um pouco se você tá pensando em pegar vai no VERT ou no Ultra Bleu
