The Blend Eau de Parfum

Já escrevi sobre o The Blend, logo após comprar a dupla The B. e The BB. e concluo que ainda era cedo pra registrar opinião definitiva sobre essa fragrância. Acho necessário usar o perfume em temperaturas diversas e identificar a maneira de extrair o melhor dele! Pra mim, fica perfeito em até uns 25°C à noite e em temperaturas mais baixas no dia, evitando o sol. Acho que 4.14 é uma nota razoável para esta criação. Logo no primeiro minuto, ele me remete ao cheiro de uma cachaça que eu havia percebido nas amostras que tenho, e que foram recolhidas em 2018, quando TB deveria ter sido lançado. Isso tudo somado ao aspecto frutado e fresco que ele entrega. Como já comentei no Uomini Black, não faço questão de listar toda a pirâmide olfativa porque não conheço muitas essências isoladamente. Sou um consumidor que gosta de estudar um pouco do que compra e usa, e aprimorei algumas percepções nestes últimos 5 anos, além do fato de a pirâmide olfativa estar disponível no site de O Boticário. Pois bem, o cheiro boozy scent de rum, me lembra de uma cachaça e o aspecto frutado já traz um dulçor agradável, no ponto. Lembrando que as etapas do perfume são formadas por momentos iniciais frutados, evolução especiada e corpo e base amadeirados, envoltos pelo acorde, o (blend) das especiarias: pimenta preta, noz-moscada, cravo e canela, destiladas em alambique de cobre. O que eu percebo é que ele possui essas etapas de (saída), (coração) e (fundo). Poderia ter tido uma evolução um pouco mais mutável após chegar às notas de base e perder um pouco daquele toque frutado, mas isso foi mero detalhe pra mim. A composição é sensacional! Fragrância 10/10. Não tive problema com performance. É um eau de parfum de mais de 8 horas na minha pele, às vezes dura 7, mas no geral, ultrapassa as 8 horas. Realmente, ele não difunde muito como o Bourbon, mas deixa uma silagem deliciosa com perfumação segura. The Blend é um tanto genérico dentro da perfumaria designer, sendo uma ótima opção para assinatura, trabalho, sem deixar de ser romântico, pra usar em encontros sem ser incômodo, porque é um perfume elegante, sedutor e sério, para quem é mais discreto! Existem outros perfumes com esta proposta, e isto não deveria ser motivo de hate em cima do aspecto originalidade, a ponto de, ao lado do aspecto performance, serem os motivos que trazem tanto ódio a um perfume tão bem construído, e que poderia ser envasado pela Chanel, ao preço de R$500,00 e os amantes da marca comprariam. Maldita síndrome de vira-lata que faz o povo comprar Allure Homme Sport por mais de R$600,00 sem reclamar da performance baixa, onde não há nada tão inovador, mas é um Chanel e é importado para ostentar... O Homem Emocion.e recebeu hate pela performance e por remeter a outros perfumes... Mas isso é uma outra longa história! The Blend é uma obra-prima da perfumaria nacional! É isto!

It's really very good. I try to talk subjectively about fragrances, but The Blend is just very good. And what a hidden gem! I came across this at an O Boticario store in Portugal, where the Brazilian franchise is well known. I paid just under 50 euros for a handsome 100 ml flacon of this intoxicating juice, which lasts a good 12 hrs on skin! Two sprays is really enough, might I add. The atomiser is the element that feels cheap and mine was actually broken, though easily fixed with glue. I think that's my only caveat for this versatile, crowd pleasing, but certainly not boring fragrance. It is sweet - juicy with citrus and rum - which I don't usually go for, but the sweetness is balanced by woods and spices, as well as vetiver. That sweetness diminishes as it dries down and what you're left with is a bit more sensible and really lovely. It's very hard for me to pick out individual notes and it's like I get glimpses of the many different elements throughout wearing it. It presents a very smooth, unified facet that seems simple, yet really is not. Great dumb reach for many an occassion, barring hot daytime weather.

The Blend is a sweet dating fragrance that’s made perfectly for evenings. It feels sweet, warm, and spicy and, conceptually, goes very much in the direction of the masculine Hugo Boss “dating” scents. In terms of quality, you can of course notice clear differences—especially when it comes to projection/sillage. Right on the first spray, you get warm cinnamon with sweet amber and spicy nutmeg. Cinnamon with amber, benzoin, and nutmeg are basically the ultimate winter dating smells. Absolutely blind-buy friendly and a crowd-pleaser. With its moderate, more subtle sillage, I’d say it can also be worn in spring and summer—especially because it has a spicier, more masculine edge to it (probably the black pepper). Extremely mass-appealing and easy to wear anytime. Compliment-magnet potential, provided you spray enough. Blind-buy safe and easy to recommend. I also pick up something slightly fruity/floral in the fragrance, but I can’t exactly pinpoint what it is. Possibly I’m noticing iris in the background, which, combined with the amber and cinnamon, comes across as fruity-floral. Really beautiful scent.

Probably my favorite O Boticário fragrance. Its definitely pretty good. It is a mix of warm spices/spiced rum + soft ambers, and woods + slight florals, aromatic and cirtus to round it all up. It has a clean and fresh aspect to it as well. I enjoy it.

Uma fragrância linda, com um toque alcoólico bem forte no começo, mas aos poucos se apaziguando na pele e demonstrando as notas de cravo e nóz moscada. Recomendo. Fixação 8/10 Projeção 7/10 Aroma 10/10

A couple of things came to mind when I smelled this. 1) The popular men's fragrances that smell like fruity bubble gum. I don't remember whether it's YSL Y, Versace Eros, Galleria Shades of Seduction, Paco Rabanne Invictus, Fragrance One Office, JPG Ultramale, or all of them. 2) Gucci Guilty Absolute, Fragrance One Black Tie, and Dunhill Signature Agar Wood with that leathery/violet accord that reminds me of leaving the gasoline cap off the lawnmower in a toolshed. This is one of the recent Alberto Morillas signature accords For a long time, I've avoided a lot of popular fruity/sweet men's fragrances. Apple pie, bubblegum, coffee latte, caramel, vanilla, etc. are all accords I love to smell, but not to smell like. I find a lot of them kind of juvenile, but sometimes a good scent is just a good scent. Armani - Stronger With You, Navitus - Intimus, MFK - Baccarat Rouge, Dior - Sauvage Elixir, etc. all come to mind as sweet scents that I find interesting and enjoyable. You can add The Blend to that list. If you told me this was called Gucci Guilty Absolutely Not (i.e. an Absolute flanker), I would believe you. I'm sure a lot of people are reading this thinking "WTF, this doesn't smell anything like Gucci," but hear me out. Whereas the Gucci is a dark, mature, masculine scent with its earthy vetiver and harsh petrol leather, The Blend is the bizarro version that brightens up the formula by ditching the earthiness, lightening the petrol leather significantly, and adding some fruity bubblegum and sweet, spicy rum. Is it as interesting or masculine as Gucci Guilty Absolute or even Fragrance One Black Tie? No, but it's a hell of a lot more pleasant and enjoyable for most people. The fragrance wears kind of light and doesn't perform nearly as well as its more mature Morillas brethren, but I'd wear this any day. For the price you can get it for, it's full bottle worthy for sure, even if it's a little more immature than what I usually wear.

The Blend Eau de Parfum hit the market in 2019, opening a new pillar in O Boticário's men's perfumery. According to the company, 1.961 submissions were needed before the fragrance was approved. Its name, as well as its creative concept, speaks of an oil produced through the distillation of four warm and fresh spices – Clove, Cinnamon, Black Pepper, and Nutmeg – in a copper still (referring to the origins of perfumery), inside the O Boticário factory. This is also the inspiration for its bottle. On the skin, the opening is warm and explodes with a strong aromatic and liqueur content. For me, it is not as alcoholic as I have seen others commenting. Here, the rum provides warmth, not that boozy effect. I also feel a lot of cinnamon, from the first spray. The floral notes do not exude on my skin, although I expected more from the tuberose. However, the iris complements the effect of sophistication and the creaminess is provided by the sandalwood. From here on, the woody signature becomes more evident and The Blend becomes fuller-bodied, abandoning any idea of a party scent. The dry down brings a more romantic side, the Oud note is far from what many expected, but the combination with benzoin pleases me a lot and reveals some facets of vanilla, providing robustness and high lasting. The bottle is beautiful, the spray gives a soft mist (from a short distance) and the fragrance is suitable for nighttime occasions and special moments that require romance and a bit of seduction. It wouldn't be my choice for hot days, but in autumn and winter, I would wear it without many restrictions. In short, The Blend Eau de Parfum is a sure choice for men who want to make their presence felt with elegance and personality through a fragrance signed by international perfumers.

#1369 in my "Tour de Fragrance" This is a nice scent. It's a "kitchen sink" scent for sure. Whatever you like, it's in here. The strong iris opening makes an impression. As a kid we had iris planted all along the south side of the house and when it was in bloom I'd just sit on the lawn smelling it. Planted it all along the wooden fences of the first house I actually bought. I can smell every other note in this, but the iris comes over the top of it all in the opening. So I loved the opening, but the heavy iris is gone pretty quickly and it loses all floral character. What remains is cinnamon, clove, amber, vetiver and benzoin. . Like every O Boticario I've tried so far the projection is so-so, on the level of a Lataffa freshie, so you do have to overspray it you really want this to get noticed by anyone beyond arm's length. But the good news is no amount of overspray can make this offensive. This is an attractive scent that will work for any setting, year around, and at a fair price. I like it enough that I've ordered the flanker, "The Blend: Cardamom."

There is no denying the great dedication in the elaboration of this perfume, smelling the bottle itself, we can perceive the effort of those who dedicated 03 tiring years and more than 1960 attempts until they arrived here, in this fragrance. 1. On my skin, its release immediately referred to the discontinued Starring For Men by AVON, which, by the way, was a perfume for the next 48 hours. A tall glass of Rum is served, with a citrus aperitif on the side and no alcohol content as there is a delicious 'manly floral' here. 2. After starting to rest on my skin, it got a touch of makeup, very characteristic in some exclusive Dior fragrances, I also brought sunny spices and another ventilated Vetiver to masterfully finish off its performance here. 3. Its base is resinous, very prominent and combined with woody notes (here still live spices) spicy and sprinkled with a very discreet Amber, responsible for a feeling of comfort, tranquility and self-affirmation. Well, unfortunately, even though it is classified as an Eau de Parfum, it didn't have the sillage on my skin that I expected it to have; I'll wait for it to cool down and try again.
