ANIMALIC. ANIMALIC. ANIMALIC. If you want to smell like a mink coat and a beaver’s butthole, this is it. Visually, just imagine a woman with a short, auburn bob whose sides whirl behind her ears, large black, bee-like glasses. A structured black dress with matching monotone belt and square buckle. Black nylon stockings. Black stilettos with the thinnest, tallest heel. A brown speckled mink coat that meets behind her knees. A long cigarette in one leather gloved hand. This one is both linear and a storyteller. Could be a sister of Passion by Elizabeth Taylor, despite two very different compositions. Makeup-powder Iris (Violet?), spiced by red pepper, warmed by a not-so-literal amber. It might be the Cassis that goes body-odor here. This concoction doesn’t release too many individual notes as they are all harmoniously blended, but the result is ultra niche, raunchy theater girl, who appreciates vintage Hollywood romanticism and messiness. Not a safe blind buy, and not like any fragrance comparisons. I bought this because it is a supposed dupe of a Creed I enjoy. Not even close, but a fantastic stand-alone scent. I bought some secondhand sample sets at a premium by this brand because I was so impressed by this bottle and they never restock (greed, forcing blind-buys). The quality and longevity are definitively a fluke. This is their only exceptional scent. This is a projecting powerhouse that lasts 6-8 hours. Their other fragrances are cheap: watered down or “cut” smell, like adding 20% of a koolaid singles packet to a full sized water bottle, they are very rough around the edges, and many dry down to a stale spit or applesauce scent. Not fake or expired. They do not oxidize well. Some I found to be okay, smelled much worse and top notes dissipated from the bottles entirely over time (just months).

Light lemony citrus grapefruit yum! I smell it when I put it on. Sprayed at 12 pm. Went to Dr appt at 3 pm. I couldn't smell it. The ladies at my appt kept raving about how good it smelled. I couldn't smell it at all. So I would say it's got a great sillage and longevity is 5 to 6 hours. One of my fave Oakcha scents! I will reorder!!
