Cocaigne

According to Aaron Terence Hughes, Tuscan Leather smells like someone who’s been on a cocaine bender all night, so the naming convention is super appropriate. I love the smell of leather scents and this one’s great. Last at least 10 hours on skin and forever on clothes until you wash them.

Starts with an evident, balanced sweet, raspberry note, and then gives a smooth, muted impression of pleather-suede smell. It's not carnal like Leatherize by DSDurga, or really, at all; it's melded into the jasmine without being so jasmine-forward (Tom Ford take notes). The pseudoleather note isn't that strong however, but it's probably an olfactory difference since in reality I can barely smell this frag. Maybe my threshold for detecting certain notes is a bit lower than normal (or that this is a muted frag that would be a characteristic of an extrait), but given the price of this bottle vs TF Tuscan leather, you can't go wrong with this. I had a friend (F) who isn't into niche fragrances at all smell this, and basically reiterates my findings on this frag, minus the leather note. Possible secret reformulation? Who knows...above average performance.

oh god this is sooooo bad 🤢🤮 i get the raspberry note for maybe 30 seconds... then it smells like you poured gasoline on a rubber tire, lit it on fire... and tried to put it out with a leather jacket.
