Colaroma

A realistic cola smell with some sophistication - wow, wasn't expecting this from Oakcha! First blast is cola and lime. The lime burns off a bit and it's.. pure, realistic cola. Coca cola (and many other colas) are made with cinnamon, nutmeg, lemon/lime/orange, coriander, neroli, and vanilla - plus lots of sugar. Not all of these notes are listed, but the cinnamon and nutmeg are strong and there's definitely lemon and orange in there as well. If there is no actual vanilla, then the amber and jasmine are probably lending the sweetness and I do also get a lot of clove. On analysis, the cola scent itself is mainly citrus + a lot of nutmeg/cinnamon/clove and a sweet base. The drydown is still cola-like but amber and sandalwood come through more strongly which, surprisingly, has a positive effect - taking Colaroma from fun novelty (which is great for the first half hour) to something closer to what we think of as a sexy oriental for longterm wear, if you like Youth Dew and similar scents. Very impressed.

a spicy, sweet, citrusy photorealistic cola scent. what's not to love? as a diet coke enthusiast and lover of both spicy scents and gourmands, this is pretty much the ideal for me. when you first spray it it's like the platonic ideal of a cola, and has almost a powdery element to it. it reminds me of bottlecaps candy. on the wrist and when it dries down its a much spicier clove scent that reminds me of christmas, but it stays cola-like. longevity is great, not anything to write songs about but i am more than satisfied with it.

This scent took me pleasantly by surprise. It was part of a tester collection and I hadn't expected to like it. It ended up being my favourite and I bought the large size bottle. My daughter informed me that I initially smelled just like cinnamon heart candies and, indeed, it is a sweet cinnamon scent. The dry down is deliciously warm, sweet, and spicey, with the amber taking the forefront as the cinnamon becomes a little softer. A more mature scent than I had expected.

I get what they were going for with this one b/c I've smelled other "cola" scents that also have very similar notes to this one. To my nose it is a bit reminiscent of smelling a fizzy coca cola drink. I actually really like the way this one smells, but I'm a fan of ginger and lime. I do also smell the spices in this one too, though, which I really enjoy a lot. Worth trying if you like cola perfumes. For the price point, I'd buy a full bottle of this one.

I love this fragrance. It reminds me of a Killian perfume I had years ago that was in a black bottle with red writing. I adored it and it was discontinued. I love the citrusy fresh opening, then it dries down into this cinnamon-clove with a hint of jasmine. Weird combo I know, but man it smells so good. Such a bargain, too! It’s different, but I love it.

This is a cola scent that is a very authentic formulation instead of some synthetic distilled “cola note”. It is heavy ginger lime that invokes an old favorite Burberry Brit but with a lot more spice. I don’t know what occasion I would want to smell like cola. It does get a bit tiring after awhile because it certainly lasts with a single spritz on clothes. On me, it does dry down very sweet vanilla and powdery which makes it feel more mature than one would think. It’s a novelty, it’s fun, it’s wearable, it’s a great price, and to me it is unique.

I agree with Mattesha Erotica that this reminds me of Addict. ALSO, this reminds me of the original Guess, in the twisted bottle that was popular in the 90's. If you are missing that, check this one out.

yeah okay this one's definitely... meh... I give Oakcha the benefit of the doubt considering they take a minimum of a week to actually settle and get good. I love Oakcha, I glaze the brand constantly. I wanted a scent that smelled like cola, more spicy, something similar to Estee Lauder's Youth Dew, which I believe to be pretty similar to cola. So I let it sit for a decent amount of time... which did nothing to make it better. Whether or not this is actually similar to cola is subjective. I think this is too far off for me. Feels like the thought of cola, like you bought a perfume that just so happened to smell like cola rather than something that aims to be cola... which is what you want when youre buying a cola perfume, right?? for some reason, this strikes me as floral despite there only being jasmine in the notes listed. why? because it's so blended together (in a bad way) it became like flat cola than anything fun or fizzly. this couldve easily been remedied by making the scent more masculine, stronger on the citrus. I know masculine perfumes that unintentionally give that cola carbonation smell than this actual cola perfume. the kilian comparisons in the comments are because it's definitely a sweet, mature cinnamon. warm? no, this is definitely light, airy. projects decently well. I love spiced, strong oriental perfumes. this one is not that at all. powdery, and somehow smells more dated than youth dew, which people love to criticize about it. this makes my head HURT-- one of my first personal perfume purchases to do so. I can get why someone would like this. smells like an old crafts store or incensed library with that sweet feminine cinnamon note. if that sounds like you, this is for you. but not for me.

For anyone whose listening: THIS (unintentionally) DUPES DIOR ADDICT! Dior Addict is a mainstay and partly the base of my collection. My partner and I have always said it smells like wearing Coke Zero; just an unmistakable cola like quality. This has that soda burst at the very start but immediately dries down and fully turns into Addict. Only thing truly differentiating them is longevity. Colaroma lasts 2/3 hours max where as the Dior legend is reluctant to ever leave clothes or skin. The fact not one single person has mentioned the similarity genuinely blows me away, they are nearly 1:1. 🥸

Ok this is NOT Kilian Born to Be Unforgettable, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's bad. I've got more compliments on Born to Be Unforgettable than this so far, but I actually like the initial spray of Colaroma more so the Kilian; it is more of a sweet cola smell that dries with a floral and amber sweetness, over the lime-y Mexican cola mixed with men's cologne vibe that the Kilian gives off. It lasts a LONG time, as most Oakcha's do with their extrait de parfum, but it won't have the same smell as the initial blast.

This scent is a playful fun scent, not meant to be taken too seriously. It is definitely unisex. It is airy and gingery. I use it after a morning shower or after a workout shower. I always wear a fragrance and I put this one on , every now and then, just to have something when I am doing my day to day . I don’t reach for it often though.

In comparison to other soda/cola perfumes I’ve had the chance to sample or keep. It is up there high on the list. It is realistic, but while so I find the lemon/lime notes to be very strong. I think if those were cooled off a bit, it would be great/realistic.

Not a fan. There’s absolutely no sweetness whatsoever. I sadly don’t even get cinnamon, it’s basically just ginger and lime. If you like the smell of unsweetened ginger tea, then you’ll like this, but I’m more of a honey lemon ginger tea gal myself. It has minimal sillage and lasts about 4 hours. In terms of perfumes listed as similar— ✔️ By Kilian Born to Be Unforgettable: very similar, just no ginger ❌ Snif Soda Snob: much sweeter as it’s heavy on the caramel, absolutely no ginger note

Ok, so this is supposed to smell like cola. It doesn’t. What it DOES smell like, is FIREBALLS!!! Those wee red balls, that are super spicy cinnamon!!! That is EXACTLY what this smells like. I sure love them, and dig their scent; mostly for a reminiscence type thing...but it’s definitely not something I want to smell like!!! So, buyer beware for this!!! I’m glad I only ordered the sampler set)...

Super disappointed in this one, and I had been so, so excited. I’m obsessed with Snif’s Soda Snob and wanted another cola fragrance. This smells like Coke Zero (as someone below mentioned) but only for the immediate spray. Then it quickly starts drying down to this weird, Old Spice soapy smell but not in a good way. (I actually used to like the smell of Old Spice, probably still do.) I’ve had over 40 blind buys in the last 3 months, and this is the only one I really do NOT like. Such a bummer. Now I’m afraid to try their Doctor Queen for fear it might even smell remotely like this. Hard pass on this one. For those that said it smells like I Scream Float, it does not. Soda Snob and I Scream Float, however, are twinsies.

Dern my blind buys. At first smells just like cola. In a few minutes you are left is a powdery old fashioned douche smell to me. I want to throw up from this perfume.

I thought I'd love it but it's just too spicy, there's a hint of cola likely from the citrusy notes, but overall it just smells odd. 3/10

Citrus and cinnamon first on, very spiced, but oddly juicy. The spices are hot and high, with cinnamon leading, (I amp cinnamon, so that's no surprise) but blended with hot ginger. So far, it’s too much like cinnamon bubble gum. Strange mix of hot spice and cold citrus. There's not enough fatty/round base to absorb the high notes. However, when the top notes finally wear off, the base notes finally get to come out and are wonderful; Deep, resinous and warm. But the wait is too long for me.

To me this initially smells very similar to soda with a lot of the citrus notes . Once it dries down on my skin I get a lot more of the amber , sandlewood and clove . I don’t hate it but I also don’t love it . It remind me a lot of an incense kinda smell . It last a while on my skin and clothes at least 4-5 hours . Still debating if I want to keep this one
