Desert Glass

If you have scent memories involving Sapodilla, you may find this scent irresistible. Sandalwood was not my favorite note until smelling it in this context. The opening is fresh and damp in a rainforest kind of way, like the rainy season in Costa Rica, or a Spring day in a Miami neighborhood that still has 50 year old fruit trees. The fruit note represents a perfectly ripe sapodilla...nature's brown sugar. The dry down is super warm, cozy, and highly aromatic. A delightful combo of notes which in no way invoke a desert vibe. This is a go to rainy day scent for me.

Cant get enough of this one. Never sniffed Mojave Ghost, no idea if it’s close, but I do really enjoy this fragrance. It’s clean and has a excellent powdery violet note that's gentle and sophisticated. To me it’s oddly nostalgic and addicting. Performance is great and I would be happy wearing this anywhere whenever as a man. I have another Oakcha and it’s also been great.

The violet and ambergris are stunning and luxurious while the magnolia adds something paradoxical, like a “decadent austerity” if there is such a thing. It smells so close to the fragrance that inspired it. I can’t distinguish one from the other. As usual, Oakcha equals or betters the quality of a $225 to $300 inspiration. Bravo.

Words cannot!!! The scent is amazing, IT LASTS, and I get several compliments. And this is one of the very few scents that I agree is unisex. My brother came to visit and wanted to take it and I wouldn't let him lol. I am about to order him a bottle and another one for myself :)

Plucks the heartstrings. Comforting, clean, sophisticated. Anyone, anytime, any occasion. Ineffable olfactory pleasure in a bottle. No clue if it’s a good dupe for Mojave ghost as I’ve never smelled it. But this one is so good that I might not need to.

Love this one ! For those familiar with Mojave Ghost I'd say this a lighter,more airy,soapy and gentle version of the OG. To those looking for an exact clone of Mojave Ghost I'd say check out Lunar & CO Mojave Soul as it's the closest in terms of strength and smell but this is VERY good and honestly it's better for everyday use whereas Mojave Ghost is better for special occasions. Desert Glass opens up very fresh,dewy,green and very slightly powdery and soapy. It has that "fresh rain" smell to me and is just so pleasant!! This stays pretty linear but it does lose some of that dewy nature from the opening and you get more woods and florals. I'm a guy and have worn this and received great feedback so it's not too girly, and in my opinion one of the only truly unisex fragrances out there. Even more unisex than Mojave ghost which I thought leaned a tad more feminine as it was more fruity and powdery. I actuallly have a Pantene Pro V Shampoo that smells similar. Performance on this is excellent!!! It lasts 6-8 hours but with soft projection and decent sillage. The sillage is the best part of this fragrance . Desert Glass because it's lighter also works better in the warmer months so it's a better signature scent. However, the OG and Lunar & COs version (Mojave Soul) lasts me 24+ hours and has strong projection with only 2-3 sprays. Overall rating -8.5 out of 10 ! This is easily in my top 3 pickups of the year

I’ve never smelled Mojave ghost so idk how good of a dupe desert glass is but that being said I love the scent profile you get that sweet floral and musk from the ambrette you get that powdery from the violet and on the end of it that ambergris keeps the scent just a lil warm but not too much allowing it to remain a versatile fragrance it’s not a loud beast as far as projecting or sillage but it does a good enough job for 35$ overall a good cheap option but doesn’t smell like it’s cheap it’s refined.

This fragrance is beautiful. I have only smelled Mojave Ghost once, but this is a pretty similar dupe. I would say it’s more oily so be careful on clothes, but not as bad as some of Oakcha’s other fragrances. It’s extremely sapodilla heavy, to the point that I’m very disappointed that there are so few other fragrances that use it as a note. The warm pearish smell is so lovely. It’s somewhere between fruity and floral, still smells good with sunscreen so it’s a go to for me in the summer.

Smells 95% like Mojave Ghost! It’s just a bit different but a regular person can’t tell the difference, the dry down is pretty much the same. It’s a lovely clean skin scent. Great longevity!

This scent lasts and lasts! It does remind me of a sun-drenched desert also. It has a vague sweetness to it too. Very comforting, pleasing scent.

Wearing this to the Frankenstein 2025 movie. I feel like the creature would smell like this in the best way possible. Animalic and intoxicating.

this smells DIVINE! but honestly it’s so incredibly strong and long lasting it gives me a headache. i’d imagine that is probably what most people are looking for but i would prefer this scent profile in a smaller dose. something more fleeting and ethereal opposed to lasting all day long and smacking me in the face.

For me this has a really oily opening it’s like the way canola oil smells buts after it settles I do get a pretty floral scent it gives office vibes not sure I truly appreciate the notes but the violet is about the only redeeming quality it’s a pretty scent just not for me

Sandalwood heavy omg... I don’t hate it but I was expecting something different. I am getting incense and a hint do pear too. It is soothing but it is ok.

Got it because of the whole hype around it being like Byredo’s Mojave Ghost but I did not like this. Too floral, honestly smelled like an old lady scent, but that’s just me. Gave it to my sister for Christmas and it smells much better on her.

Okay a to me right off the bat it smells like those banana flavors hard candies from the 90’s. I heard this was a dupe for Bare by VS also and I really am not getting those vibes. The dry down might be different but for me the artificial banana candy scent (which I hate) is overwhelming

I wanted to love this more because the bottle is lovely and it smells nice in the bottle. On skin, I get a fruity floral with a faint hairspray note. I don't dislike it but it doesn’t distintuish itself. It smells sort of summery and pink, and the name is appealing, but in the end I gave it away. The hairspray feel is too strong.

I'm a fan. Solid floral scent, I have smelt Mojave Ghost in the past, but need to compare side by side. From what i remeber its got a similar DNA.
