Mango Hour | Viral Vanilla

I have been seeing ads for this for MONTHS so I finally decided to blind buy it. It is different than I imagined it to be, but not bad at all. I pictured it to be a more of bright juicy candy mango with the coconut milk and vanilla in the background to balance it out. After smelling it, scent is surprisingly creamy because of the coconut milk. The upfront is bright and tropical, but not in a standard piña colada air freshener type of way. You get a lot of the mango, pineapple, peach, and coconut milk on the inital spray. As it dries down I would say 60% of the fruit dries down and melds with the musk, amber, coumarin, vanilla, caramel, and coconut milk. The fruityness that stays is mostly just the mango. Maybe a hint of the pineapple, but like 90% mango. The longer this dries down espesh on my skin, the more the mango fades away. It never goes away completely which is nice but it definately blends in w the base notes. The mango is not armpity at ALL, honestly would prefer even a little more brightness in the mango here. I think that a little more brightness would help the mango to stay more prominent on dry down where it kind of becomes equal w all of the base notes. It errs on the side of realistic mango, but def has a little bump to make it more of a recognizable mango smell. Theres also no weird "green" kinda unripe mango smell that some mango frags have. I would say the most prominent notes in this are mango and coconut milk and that all of the other notes exist in the back to support and round out the smell. I also get a tiny bit of spiciness on the dry down that I think is from the coumarin. The coumarin adds a really nice somewhat woody note that balances out the sweetness and makes it super wearable. I think the coumarin is also where some people get the Fall weather vibes from. I personally still feel like this is largely a warm weather type of frag, but the coumarin definately makes it wearable for all year. This also lasts quite a while, especially at this pricepoint. I get whiffs of it on me for several hours after inital spray, and can smell it when i touch my nose to my skin for 8-10 hours after spraying. Overall, it is a very pleasant, wearable, grown up mango coconut smell that is easy to reach for every day.

This stuff has a bite to it when first sprayed, it'll try to choke you no matter how careful you are. Besides that I love it. The amber makes it smell surprisingly autumnal despite all the fruity notes. It's warm and sweet and somehow I keep smelling pumpkin in it. I also expected this to smell 'typical' but it's pretty unique!

The perfect mango fragrance. Smells like JUICY mango with coconut and peach notes. It becomes a long lasting skin scent on me but in a good way.

extremely synthetic smelling. i think the vanilla doesn’t work with the tropical fruits here. there’s also burnt tire/rubbery notes idk how or why.

It smells just like the hawaiian air freshener from walmart. Not a bad smell, but just not one i’d wear.
