Milk Skin

A violent milk punch to the face in the opening that quickly turns fun and fruity then settles to a warm, mildly milky floral hug. Lasts well on the skin. Fun fragrance to wear.

Firstly I want to say I love Oakcha and a solid lil chunk of my collection is their products. The release of this milk inspired “Crème Gourmand Collection” was an odd mis step and poorly executed. That being said, I appreciate that this is the most straightforward and focused of the bunch. ‘Milk Skin’ is that sweet fatty buttery milk. I find this to be very reminiscent of Phlur’s ‘Heavy Cream.’ The name ‘Milk Skin’ itself seems like a cheeky nod to Phlurs naming/branding style as well. Not ground breaking but still fun and wearable. Overall this is my second favorite of the line up. The attempt to capture the milk fragrance trend by Oakcha could have been well served by this or ‘Milky Bloom,’ albeit with a name change more reflective of the wearing experience. The other 2 in the collection, while not awful, are random shots in the woods with no aim; ESPECIALLY ‘Steamed Milk.’ 🥸

Kinda musty at first but then when that goes away it's a soft powdery vanilla with some light lactonic notes in the background. Its not bad Not what I was expecting though.

Why did they put the random mandarin note in? The rest of the composition smells like cream; good for layering.

this is probably the most photorealistic milk scent i’ve smelled, and not in a good way. it smells like when you open a bottle of milk that you’ve had in the fridge for a few days and you smell the rim to make sure it hasn’t gone bad.

literally EXACTLY heavy cream by phlur. if u wanted a perfume version here it is! i personally dont love heavy cream so this is a hard pass for me.

Smells exactly like milk and just milk so horrible
