Sand & Sea

I love this scent so much. It reminds me of a new age store on the beach- Incense and sea air. It’s like aromatherapy for me. It’s like a light and refreshing oud/musk scent with soft rose florals and a bit of citrus, but the rose and citrus aren’t loud or standalone, they blend in with everything else. If you like earthy smells that are fresh, you’d probably like this.

This is a beautiful summer scent. This is not a heavy Oud. It starts strong and then dies down about 45 minutes and becomes a light citrus, floral Oud. You can wear this throughout the day and evening. You will need to reapply after 5 hours.

The opening is very promising but the dry down brings a strong aroma of citronella to my nose. I've worn it multiple times. I really wanted to like it, but I just don't. No idea if it would help keep mosquitoes away. EDIT: Ingredients list includes Citronellol, so I guess I'm not crazy. Maybe this becomes my summer night outside fragrance...

I've got my biases, I love heavy oud scents and hate citruses. Florals, I can often go either way. All of this comes together to me really not liking this at all. This is almost entirely orange to me with heavy roses. Almost no oud or patchouli to round it out. Quite the disappointment, but it is what it says on the tin, I guess. Thankfully for me, it barely stayed on my skin for an hour. But such a lack of longevity would be a massive con for anyone who actually likes this.
