Ukiyo

This is one of my favorite fragrances, I’ve purchased twice and had to give it away twice... I’m about to purchase my 3rd bottle, I hope I hasn’t been reformulated because I swear it had saffron listed when I purchased in 2020 and 2022. This has the pineapple, bergamot, birch of aventus with the candy like saffron and ambergris of br540, the best of 2 holy grail fragrances and for the the ingredients to be listed as organic is even better I’ve purchased about 5 fragrances from oakcha and need to continue to sample more of their original creations The quality of the ingredients are great, specially for the price.I really love this fragrance

Damn this is a sexy scent!! It reminds me of hanging out in a cocktail bar in a rich, ski town at night. It has this super refreshing outdoor scent that comes through at times but it also has this super sexy, luxurious scent that comes through too....I can't even describe what that sexy smell is either and it's bothering me lol. It's not smokey, it's not citrusy or fruity...it's not musky or musty either and its not gourmand or sweet..it's just a unique super sexy scent! You've got to try it!

At first glance I didn't like it, maybe because it was paper, but on my skin is a very rich citrusy smell, very charming. I don't usually like citrus fragrances, but this definitely smells really good, very summery, it reminds me of a day on the beach. The pineapple is very subtle, the vanilla keeps on growing on to of the bergamot it turns into a really good scent. Probably won't wear it for a couple of months since summer ended weeks ago in my country.

I would be in love with this if it weren’t for the awful leather note. It is so synthetic and smells like I walked into Abercrombie & Fitch in 2013. The rest of the fragrance is absolutely beautiful, bright juicy fresh pineapple/bergamot, cool spicy earthy green notes, woodiness and oakmoss, and just the right amount of sweetness. The leather just ruins it and makes it unwearable for me personally as a woman. Great sadness.

The pyramid makes it seem like it will be very dark and earthy. It's actually very fresh and juicy, with a little bit of earthiness from the patchouli. I do get a little bit of saltiness, perhaps from the ambergris note. All in all I like it a lot. I think this would be a good summer scent.

This is a fresh cirtusy leather fragrance. As it dries down the oakmoss comes out more. It leans more masculine to me and is very nice.

This was the second time I ever had to wash a fragrance off my skin. The first time was 1 Million Golden Oud. I believe it's the leather accord from both of them that were my tipping point. Ukiyo's notes are all something I would enjoy...except for the leather. There's just something about synthetic leather scents that makes me nauseous, I can't do it. I, unfortunately, can't properly describe how Ukiyo smells to me because I feel like it's just a poorly mixed combination of notes with overwhelming/distracting leather layered through it.
