Vanilla Glaze

This one is delicious! I was unsure of getting it at first given it has mixed reviews online, but I love sweet fragrances and I am happy I did. Upon first sniff I really liked it, and that does not happen often with me. But I also smelled something very similar before and could not put my finger on it. I have many caramel fragrances, and given that this one is very much caramel forward, I pinned it down to those. And then bam, as soon as I saw my Phlur Caramel Skin, I smelled it and this is, to my nose, an almost spot on perfume version of that mist. If you love Caramel Skin then I highly recommend you getting this. Staying power on the skin is moderate but layered with CS it will last much longer

this is definitely my favorite one from the oakcha milk line. it is obviously very strong, sweet, and heavy so i don’t typically spray too much since a little goes a VERY long way. oakcha also makes sure to let you know that these fragrances perform better on fabrics, the box literally says you shouldn’t use it on your skin. it is super caramelly and almost a photorealistic condensed milk smell. i love lightly spraying it on my clothes before using vanilla perfumes.

Firstly I want to say I love Oakcha and a solid lil chunk of my collection is their products. The release of this milk inspired “Crème Gourmand Collection” was an odd mis step and poorly executed. ‘Vanilla Glaze’ seemed like a sure thing, even enjoying it the first wear. Unfortunately everytime after I’ve gotten this burning plastic vanilla frosting I just cannot get past. Ive tried to make this work a few times but it just ends up in a headache. The attempt to capture the milk fragrance trend by Oakcha could have been well served by ‘Milk Skin’ or ‘Milky Bloom,’ albeit with a name change more reflective of its wearing experience. These other 2 in the collection, while not awful, are random shots in the woods with no aim; ESPECIALLY ‘Steamed Milk.’ 🥸

Nauseating, headache inducing, only caramel. Nothing else. Linear.

I’ve been waiting months for this collection to be registered on Fragrantica. Of the three I’ve tried, Vanilla Glaze is the only one which hit the spot. Living in the UK I had to blind buy and I totally wasted my money on Steamed Milk which couldn’t smell less like milk if it tried. Am trying to shift her on Vinted and no one wants her on there either. Next I tried Milk Skin - better, but smells like Praise the Perfume which was too powdery for me. Finally hit gold with VG. She’s sweet, creamy and lactonic. Exactly what I was looking for. Just wish I hadn’t had to shell out for the other two. Oakcha, why would you name a floral ‘Steamed Milk’? Completely misleading.
