White Fig

This fragrance ends my Fig perfume search. I've tried a lot of fig fragrances in a journey to find the perfect one, but all seemed off. Alluring Fig smelled like a bitter fig branch, Indigo smelled like Fig candy and Fig Infusion didn't smell like fig at all. When I smelled Philosykos EDP I knew it was the one but the price was outrageous. I am happy to say this is Philosykos but (after importing it to the EU) 3 times cheaper. It's a beautiful Fig fruit, sweet, green, dewy, as if picked right from the tree, but not too green, just green enough to make it realistic. Nicely balanced by a delicate coconut and creamy sandalwood. It's very refreshing, best suited for the warmer months. Reminds me of my Greece holidays, walking through a hot, dry little coastal town, with figs growing on the streets, giving the whole place a beautiful aroma. I can't say anything about longevity because i won't be wearing it until summer, but considering most fig fragrances last 4-5 hours max, i'll be happy to pull just that.

A lovely fragrance! It was a blind buy to get free shipping, and I really enjoy it. Fig and woody tones are prominent. Its warm and cozy on me without being vanilla (great for me, as I'm not a huge fan of vanilla). It does have some coconut vibes, but when it heats up a bit, the fig can get kind of date-ey, which could be overwhelming depending on how much you sprayed. As a result, I'd say this wouldn't be a great fit for hot and humid weather, but if your summers are more dry, it could work! Fairly good sillage-- a friend about 6 feet behind me could smell it in the air as I walked past. Projection is good too-- arm's length, but not overwhelming. Probably too much for an office, but it flirts with the line because the scent itself isn't too in your face. For reference, I did 3 sprays (wrists, behind the ears). I haven't smelled the og to compare, but based on how much I'm liking this, I think I'll buy it.

I am actually amazed by how similar they got to the original Philosykos. I am floored. But also so happy. I have a sample of Philosykos, and the realistic fig tree scent just made me so happy. Unfortunately, the price for a whole bottle did not (knowing the longevity of the scent was so short). But Oakcha made this scent available to me for only 35 DOLLARS. Thank you!! Also, the packaging and bottle are very nice. Nicer than some of the pricier ones that I have. I am very impressed.

I haven't smelled Philosykos but this stands alone as an excellent fragrance and scratches my itch to explore this type of scent. It smells like pure green at first, freshly cut grass and tree leaves. The addition of the coconut (notably not in the Diptyque fragrance) is actually welcome for me. It adds a sweet, mellow characteristic that rounds out the greenery in a lovely way. Still, the overwhelming scent is fig tree. Absolutely gorgeous.

If I am in a price bind... this frag is my go to... Diptyque Philosykos both versions are my signature scent. love love love .

One of the BEST "green" perfumes I've ever smelt. It got me into Diptyque.

Of course, I'm new to fragrances and the like, but I've never smelled one quite so ... Real? At first spray, it reminds me of freshly mown lawns and crisply scented fallen leaves still verdant despite the untimely end of their prematurely broken promises. It is bright green to me and then dries down into a softer, lightly figgy scent. My eldest son despises it, but my youngest likes it on him and me when we pair it with something sweet, like Oakcha's Praise the Perfume; both of the boys are conscientious about smelling good, praise the gods. It's unusual, at least to me, but in a very pleasing, comforting way, like the scents I'd smell when I had to stay outside all day during my youth.

sadly this one was not for me. i really love a fig note but this was too overwhelming for me. i find that a lot of oakcha's fragrances are just so harsh and loud. the dry down was good but i cant see myself wanting to wait 2 hours to get there. the opening is very green, like i just rolled around on a freshly mowed lawn. this is not as well rounded as philosykos and when im looking for a woody fig i think mancera's fig extasy is way better.

Initially purchased this to re-experience the fresh scent of new leaves in the dead of winter, when I was desperately craving my garden. The OG kept popping up as a viable vegetal option, but I refuse to pay Diptique prices. I very much enjoy this! 🌿 I get mostly leaves, an ambiguous green “dew,” tree roots and a very light creaminess in the background. I assume the creaminess is coming from the coconut heart note here. It’s not prominent and this will not scratch the itch for a tropical scent. If you’re on the hunt for an intimate, green skin scent that feels both fresh and entirely unisex, I think this is a real winner. The olfactory experience for me is like watching sunlight dapple through verdant, summer leaves of a tree. I don’t think this will appeal to everyone, but I do think if you’re a fan of Elizabeth Arden’s “Green Tea,” or are craving a not sweet version of Killian’s “Princess,” you’ll be in good shape when purchasing this. I treat White Fig as a skin scent. To maximize longevity, I spray on each pulse point including behind my knees. I spray on freshly showered & double moisturized skin. I wish Oakcha had a more flexible sampling system because I can see this being a cult classic if more people knew about it. This is ideal for gardeners or any green unisex scent lover! It won’t be for everyone (especially with how vegetal it is), but I sure love it! WF is definitely worth the $35. 4/5 stars.

So, I've pretty much hated everything I've ever gotten from Oakcha (mostly gourmands) but I don't hate this. It was incredibly green when first sprayed. Straight wet grass. As it dries the green smell calms down and it's a little more coconut forward. Nose to skin still very green but much less so when you back up a bit. It's been about an hour since I sprayed it and the fig note (or what I'm assuming is fig) is more prominent and more what I was hoping this fragrance would be. I don't know what the original smells like but I'm not regretting this Oakcha purchase for once (after trying 5). As an aside, I'm fairly certain that I was sent used/open product(s). The first Oakcha I purchased was boxed and sealed and included a product card. Purchased a bundle and there were no sealed boxes. Just the magnetic box (that comes inside the flimsy matching cardboard box) with product cards in all but 1. This purchase was just the magnetic boxes which one jostled open and the bottle was not secured inside.

Sprayed this in the cap and on a lint free cloth and hated it. Then something told me, you know that you need to test things on your skin. Did that and loved it. I only did a test so I haven’t fully worn it yet, but eventually, with these cooler months, I will. I see what everybody’s talking about now, positively speaking, but at the same time I feel that this can be a polarizing scent. I don’t want to overdue because I think it can be headache inducing.

I bought this as a dupe of Dyptique's Philosykos - but now I actually prefer White Fig. It has all the right fig notes (maybe slightly less green) with a more prominent coconut note which makes it feel more youthful. Philosykos is certainly more unique but I would say White Fig is a much more wearable summer fragrance. This to me feels perfect for going to the beach, wearing a white sundress or going on a springtime date.

Vegetal, like I ripped a green leaf off a tree, crushed it and rubbed the pulp onto my wrist. Juicy, dewy (but borderline wet) and very sweet fig. I think I will like this more when it matches the weather (I’m writing this in a snowstorm) or layered with something woodier. The cedar note is there but this is GREEN 🍀

Never smelt philosykos but this is really lovely. I’m usually a gourmand girl but this is really nice for the summer time it’s green and juicy fig. Not headache inducing but has good lasting power. I will continue to enjoy they
