Himalayan Spell

It was a really fun experience trying this fragrance. It opens up with a very confusing unblended raspberry, leather, and a bit of wood sprinkled it. However after a minute or two it sets down to a beautiful leather/suede scent. The longer you put your nose to it the more prominent the raspberry gets, but it is not the main player in this one. I personally hate sweet fragrances and I was afraid of this raspberry accord, but it gives this little push over the edge that I really appreciate. The woodiness coming out in the middle of the day was really pleasant as well. My friends who are not into niche said it is definitely interesting, but still a nice scent. Definitely depends on how you look too, since I usually wear leather quite a lot the scent worked on me. Definitely give it at least 2 different days to test how it goes for you, yet I will be getting a full bottle.

Smells like Tuscan Leather and Ombre Leather combined or maybe Xerjoff's Monkey Special. Absolute performer. Great price for what it offers. Stays for days on clothes. Challenging, but not as much as Cuir Intense for example. Great leather stunner. Tried layering with Jo Malone's Myrrh & Tonka and made a masterpiece. Love it. Def cold weather and a bit more mature.

Good but reductant already so many of this kind of scents

I received this as a PR item during the launch of the collection in Doha, and initially I wasn't sure about Himalayan Spell in comparison to the others... maybe partly because I am not huge on leather/oud fragrances, but maybe also I found it to overwhelming in the event, being in a heavily perfumed environment. a few weeks on, and as the temperatures drop slightly, I find myself really liking it. The opening may be a bit rich, but once it settles, you get a beautiful leathery smokey woody fragrance with just a tiny touch of raspberry and a little bit of saffron. The dry down is very pleasant to me. It is nothing like Tuscan leather like the voters here claim... it's totally different to my nose. It is much stronger than the rest of the OBVIOUS collection, but it is not cloying and it's I can't say it's a BEAST! its good enough for me.

Sampling this for the second day. Warm, leathery, spicy. Starts out smelling like Godolphin, then when the raspberry note hits it smells like a mix of Godolphin and Terroni, then as the our notes come out it smells like a mix of Godolphin, Terroni, and Oud for Greatness. If you love those, this is like a layering scent all in one. I decided after the first day not to purchase because I have Godolphin, Terroni, OFG, but on day two, I’m considering purchasing a full bottle. Silage and longevity are amazing. I also get the mint/camphor/eucalyptus note at the end. Truly a unique fragrance.
