Scoville

This is it. My ultimate pepper scent. I’ve been craving straight capsaicin in a perfume ever since I started exploring peppery notes and NONE of them have hit right. The little tickle you get in your nose when slicing fresh serrano peppers or sniffing dried ghost peppers is what I’ve been craving and it is perfectly represented here. Scoville is just so playful while still being vegetal and fresh. I can totally understand why some people might not like this scent, but if you’ve been looking for more pepper from your peppery fragrances, try Scoville. I’m interested to see how it layers in the future - if I might be able to amplify other peppery perfumes that fade too quickly or aren’t quite peppery enough. I’m also very pleased with the first few hours of projection – one of my coworkers popped his head in and immediately asked me what I’d cooked with peppers that morning, so there’s a good 4-6’ projection that lasts at least 3-4 hours and apparently the scent is SPOT on to anyone who might have the chance to smell you!

I ordered a sample of this on luckyscent since I was already getting a few others and thought "why the hell not?". As soon as I opened the vial it smelled like I had just chopped up some fresh jalapeños. And I love it. When wearing it is a fresh and spicy green scent with a wonderful woody background. A very photorealistic pepper smell. I can imagine this will also layer very well with other green scents I own. The thing that makes me the happiest is that this is not a freshie that fades quickly. Not much seems to last on me, but Scoville can be smelled on my arm all day. It's a dream come true. I now want a full bottle so bad.

if the question is "who wants to smell like a fresh bell pepper all day?" i guess the answer is me. i love this so much, i am so happy every time i smell myself. gourmand in a savory way, if that were a thing. it starts super peppery but dries down to a lower key, the sweet vanilla is a beautiful base layer it gives way to over time, somehow a much less edible note than how it opens. beautiful, fresh, perfect for summer if you don't want to smell like a coconut or other tropical note.

I had the pleasure of smelling this on my partner on multiple occasions and it was radiant and spicy in a natural way. It truly smells like you are eating something spicy but eventually turns into earthy notes. A true winner and I couldn't stop smelling him or my wrist when I tried it on. My favourite thing was to smell it on clothes, and then it truly showed its colours.

So peppery. So much earthy goodness. Made my husband’s eyes water. I now want a salad. There are so many things you could layer this with. Mild headache inducer though

Bizarre, but it’s very good. Literally can't stop smelling my wrist. It's been a long time since I ran into such an artistic, yet complex and well balanced scent!

Unique signature very spicy chili scent first at 1st sniff so good

Definitely peppery, but this was nowhere near as spicy as I’d hoped (but that’s also how I feel about 90% of the “spicy” food I order; I like my food to make me cry). As others have said, this smells like fresh bell peppers. It’s green and zingy, but I really wanted it to smell like Sichuan chili oil . Longevity on this is bananas. As JaySentz said, this will transfer on to other things and then you can’t get away from the smell. It’s almost like when you get actual chili oil on your hands from the seeds and you have to be really careful not to touch anything else lol. As an artistic fragrance, this really is a masterclass in photorealism. As a personal fragrance, however, I’m not entirely sure what to do with it (which seems to be the general consensus). I tried layering it with Demeter’s Spicy Pineapple Salsa, thinking it would really amplify the spice and cut down on the sweetness, but I discovered that whichever one you layer second will mask the other. This might really be a “wear at home when you can continually sniff yourself without anyone watching” fragrance when you’re more after the experience of a scent, rather than wearability.

Absolutely fantastic photorealistic pepper fragrance! I assume it’s because whatever makes peppers smell like peppers is already a strong, long lasting oil, because when I accidentally got some on my hands, it smelled like I had just cut open some fresh peppers. Even after cleaning tables, running dishes and washing my hands, I could still smell the perfume on my fingers a full shift later! Also, it is quite strong. When I came back home from work, I could smell it as soon as I walked in from when I sprayed it 5 hours before. I could even smell in before opening the package I received it in! Great fragrance, incredibly realistic. My only qualm is thinking of a time to wear this. It would be a great scent to layer with, but I can’t think of a time to use it standalone.

Lord believe the people expressing its longevity. I took an extensive shower today, after a sweaty workout, and it persists. I meant to test other fragrances today, but I think it has infected me. I must wait for another day, surely. Very much like a real pepper being sliced open, I have to admit. I don't hate the scent at all. It's quite like accidentally biting on a seed from a pepper, lodged in the tooth. A little shock - warmth! But still very natural, not horribly warm, oddly befitting for these estival months. But what a stay on the skin!

This smells uncannily like the spicy seasoning that comes with a pack of Maggi instant noodles. I say that lovingly. I love the green facet of this like you've chopped the top off a bell pepper and put your nose in it. Very good. Edit to add: Yeah, like others have said, this is really like having some chili oil on your hands that will get onto anything else you touch. I showered a couple hours after putting this on, soaped down all the perfume and could still smell it after. I don't know if I wanna smell like this without a way out lol.

As scent art this is awesome with realistic green bell pepper, black pepper and sweet chilies; as a wearable perfume not as sure...personally I don’t want to smell like this by itself. It is also potent and long lasting - after getting some on my hands it transferred to every other sample vial in the box and it just canceled everything else out. Maybe as a layering tool? I am glad someone made this but no way would I ever make a dent in a bottle. Great as a sample, but now I have to store it somewhere it won’t contaminate everything.

Got a sample from scent bar. Love it, totally photorealistic, but struggle to imagine wearing on its own much though. Good for layering I think, or maybe a hot hot summer day when I'm at the beach or poolside or at a day party where I'm wearing a lot of body oil and sunscreen. If I wanted a realistic peppery scent to wear on its own I'd go for a profile like CDG's Blackpepper. This one, though, has amazing staying power. I still catch remnances of it in my hair days later.

The scent is a blend of sweet paprika with a hint of spicy chili. Surprisingly, it doesn't trigger any sneezes, even with the slight spiciness. Thankfully, I don’t pick up on any overpowering pepper note; they’re either very subtle or not there at all. I also don’t detect any woody undertones.

smells spicy, fresh, earthy and smoky. its like sauvage elixir and aventus but deconstructed , by removing all the sweetness and citruses and leaving only the smokiness of the fragrance

@t.rekaa best occasion for wearing this is going to farm markets , dinning at Asian restaurants and working in a grocery store. the scent blends perfectly for those scenarios

A raw hot pepper smell. Why would you want that? I’d imagine this was Demeter

I went into this imagining a manmade chili like seasoning powder or chili oil, but this is like the first moment when you cut into a raw pepper and crush the seeds with your knife, stretched out over the course of the fragrance's lifespan (One spray on my arm lasted 8 hours including after washing). It does NOT smell like you've been cooking spicy food, but it is nose-tingling and irritating in a way where people might get confused and start searching for the weirdo that's eating raw chili peppers. Whatever Sichuan peppercorn exists in this fragrance is completely overpowered by the fresh chili, which is a shame because Sichuan peppercorn and chili peppers are a wonderful combo in food

It smells like pure capsaicin with a hit of pepper leaf. Interesting one, but definitely not for me. I find the odour quite repulsive.

A good friend of mine put me on to this one. Not my typical fragrance that’s for sure but I was charmed by it’s uniqueness and photorealistic nature. There is something quite addictive about the vanilla mixed with the chile pepper in here. It’s fresh, spicy, woody with some vanilla mixed in. It sounds odd but all the notes go well together. This is something I would wear at home as a guilty pleasure type of scent. Wearing this made me crave spicy food and thus I wore it to go out to get some and was fitting for that. Probably will pick up a bottle at some point as I really enjoyed wearing it. It is well executed and I’m digging the bottle on this one. Performance is stellar. I could smell it all day! 🌶️
