Une Figue

If you're looking for a fragrance that captures the feeling of a summer holiday without relying on the usual coconut-and-sunscreen accord, Une Figue by Obvious Parfums is an excellent choice. It doesn't smell like a crowded beach in the middle of August, but rather like an evening stroll along the Mediterranean coast, when the heat begins to fade and the salty breeze mingles with the scent of sun-warmed vegetation (here the Immortelle and fig combo is perfect). Fig is undoubtedly the star of the composition, yet it's presented in a restrained and elegant way: fruity, softly creamy, and effortlessly wearable. A subtle marine accord adds freshness without ever becoming overly aquatic or synthetic. As it develops, cedar, vetiver, and amyris gently dry the composition down, revealing a fragrance that is far woodier and more aromatic than most fig perfumes. I’ve been on a quest for the perfect fig perfume and this may be it. I tested it blind and was thrilled that the intensity came from the creamy and green fig accord itself, not from woods or coconut (yes, I’m looking at you, Philosykos). I was surprised when I came on here and saw the marine notes listed; I don’t get those at all, nor the “aftershave” vibes others mention. To me it’s a soft milky fig with good projection and great longevity. Wonderful stuff.

Buttery yummy fig with little salty marine note but not in a way to give u headache and grassy note which is little bit swwet which is weird in a good way.different unique not for everyday,actually i dont know where or when u should wear it!!!i think if they add more freshness or citruss it will be one of best frags...i think its all season frag.only problem with projection and sillage..but longevity is good Overall for me it is 7.5 out of 10

This is a beautiful green fragrance. The fig is the star of the show, but it’s blended well with the rosemary, eucalyptus and cedar, giving it an earthy, woody character. I also get a bit of the sea notes; they make it a touch salty and stop it being too heavy. Definitely unisex and performs really well - I can still smell it swirling around me 5+ hours after applying.

Got this as a mystery decant. It's really pleasant and also quite unique as far as I can tell. It's refreshingly sweet, not sickly at all. Is nicely rounded with the fig as well. The sweet aspect of this fragrance honestly reminds me of the asian dessert sago with coconut milk.

So far, this, and Fig P*rn by BTSO are my favorite fig perfumes. There is something so creamy and rich to this, and the rosemary adds such a nice touch. I would say that the drydown is kinda on the edge of smelling like an aftershave, but it's still good.

Very milky creamy fig. Reminds me a LOT of the Cedre Figalia that costs about 150€ more... it has this vacation, cozy feeling to it. Together with un ete these are the best scents from Obvious ❤️😳

I had a 10 ml version of this, I loved it, then I lost my bottle and got upset for a while, I didnt buy a full bottle even though its full bottle worthy. now let me jump to the review, no one seems to mention this but the star of the show here is the immortelle, which when paired with a sweet fig fruit manages to create an accord of a fig leaf. Don't get me wrong, I think the immortelle itself makes this perfume much more refined and elegant, but at the same time wild and evocative of the rocky cliffs by the Mediterranean, that usually are a perfect spot for immortelles to grow. someone below me compared this to sous le pont Mirabeau by ELDO but I beg to differ, ELDO's take is much more aquatic and incense-y, obvious on the other hand is herbal and a bit spicy and mariney thanks to the immortelle, if anything it reminds me of ELICRISO MARINO by Erbario Toscano. and for people saying it reminds them of green curry, youre not wrong ! another name for immortelle is curry plant !

The opening is something I was looking for and I didn’t even know about it. The immortelle and green juicy notes automatically transfer me to some of my happy childhood core memories that I already forgot about. It’s insane how well the immortelle is portrayed here. And then after 10 minutes, the fig takes over and stays very flat and boring till the end. I know, it’s a fig fragrance, so I should not complain. Stays on my skin for 3-4 hours.

Herby, Fresh, Green, Aquatic, Creamy I did not spend a lot of time with this scent. I don't get a lot of fig from this one, and I was looking for a good fig fragrance. I get slightly spicy, slightly creamy, aquatic aftershave vibe. I liked but would prefer this on someone else.

So pretty, very similar to Philosykos but less green. Even though it doesn't have coconut, it's very creamy and somewhat beachy.

the marine notes in this definitely elevate the scent, the salt is there, just underneath a citrussy fig

I bought a sample of this because I was on a fig trip. Anything, everything fig. This perfume is strange. I kinda enjoy the herbs, the rosemary. There is a herb in there that I know but I can not name. It's kinda sophisticated but still - no fragrance for a woman. It dries down to a rather manly smell. Nice, special, a bit christmasy but still a man. It also smells like something edible. Maybe a souffle with eggs and rosemary, not a quiche but something with potatoes and out of the oven. I can almost see the dish my mother is getting with her oven mitts. It's yummy but not sweet. It's savory. Salty. Very yummy. I think I would really like to smell this on a man. I think I will use up what I have, make a mess, and play with it. I really like the smell but this is not me. I'm not into wearing colognes. No fig by the way. It's a funny scent. I would call it a gourmand. I can see the dish; salty, stubbornly resisting access, too aloof. It turned ugly further down the road so I will give the rest of the sample to someone else.

super aquatic and fresh/citrusy rather than a fruity fig. without seeing the notes i would’ve guessed that the fig note is fig leaf. leans a bit too masculine for my tastes. closest comparison i can think of is sous le pont mirabeau from ELDO, but i was hoping for this to be a longer wearing version of sh**ty day from noyz.

I really liked the opening of this and then everything I liked about it went away. It went from fresh and interesting to a spicy men's shaving cream.

Previous notes indicate I found this to be very weak and nondescript. That is also my recollection.

I've been enjoying the offerings from Obvious, but Une Figue just doesn't work for me. There is a very prominent salty aquatic note that bothers me so much; I had to wash it off. I can see this fragrance being a crowd pleaser because it is basically a sweet aquatic that smells familiar. Stay away if you can't stand aquatics.

The first whiff of it is lovely - very green, beautiful! Unfortunately, 2 seconds later it settles into this dusty concoction on my skin, smelling like old bug-ridden furniture being destroyed from the inside out...

“Waw” was my initial reaction when I sniffed it, it’s really nice and fresh. I get the fig the equation slightly aromatic notes, it is definitely a pleasant smell Got it from the sample kit : 10 samples 19€ + un été gifted, really nice trial kit and actually a good learning tool to pinpoint specific smell

This is good stuff! Consider it an elevated take on a more "masculine" aquatic designer scent. What sets this apart from those, however, is its use of herbal notes which aid in Une Figue's really fresh and natural feel. I would 100% wear this in the summer or during a beach vacation.

I dislike the opening it’s very masculine and green . The herbs in the opening are very dry almost harsh. The dry down though opened up to a really creamy coconut fig scent. Might be worthy the purchase if you can find it on discount. It doesn’t project that much which is a shame.

On budget „Cedar Figalia”. At the beginning - masculine, then creamy fig, and the smells like fresh nuts without the „nut” note. Apparently this is the aquatic note scent. I want to crunch on this scent.
