Une Fleur d'Oranger

I love this!! I got a decant from Scent Split and didn't expect much but am pleasantly surprised. I have nose-blindness to 90% of the fragrances I try so I always get decants before committing and I only own a handful of full bottles. I've even seen an ENT doctor about it and she said that there are likely certain notes in fragrances that render them undetectable to me within a few seconds. Being a lover of fragrance, this has been such a struggle for me. All that being said, I sprayed Une Fleur on my wrist in the late afternoon and it is now the following morning and I can still smell it!!! And, I love it so it is a triumph all around. I will add this full bottle to my tiny collection. As for the scent, I don't really get a strong orange..I don't even really know how to describe it or what to compare it to! Due to my anosmia, I think the fragrances I DO smell, I smell differently?? What I do know is that I will add this FB to my tiny collection :-)

This is a very realistic, fresh OB and neroli fragrance. It’s very similar to the natural, realistic scent of O’Feminin by Micallef. I bought decants on both from MaxAroma and they don’t label them so it’s hard for me to tell the difference between the two. Luckily, I used a lot more of my O’Feminin and purchased the FB before I received my decant of this one. If you want a natural orange blossom and citrus fragrance I think you’d really like this one. It’s half the price of O’Feminin as well. I’m honestly surprised by the low ratings because I think this scent is fantastic and smells like they’ve used real scent oils as opposed to synthetics.

This is a very nice and sweet creamy orange blossom. Reminiscent of Byredo's Gypsy Water but with much better projection, longevity and more sweetness.

How many types of orange? Hmm. Yes. Every orange.

Very linear orange blossom fragrance with the slightest hint of acidity. This doesn't smell like citrus to me, on my skin it's predominantly white florals. This is a pretty and inoffensive fragrance. It gives me cottage core vibes. While I do think this is pretty, it is very straightforward and lacks complexity. Longevity is okay - probably lasts about four hours. Projection is intimate, at least with a blotter. An easy reach on sunny spring days, but not something I would ever purchase.

I understand the Eau Des Sens comparison, but that particular Diptyque is much more herbal on my skin. Obvious Une Fleur d'Oranger perfume is easier to wear, although less unique. I detect vanilla though it’s not listed. I still like wearing Une Fleur d'Oranger. Unfortunately my husband hates orange blossom dominant scents, so this is a pass but not a downvote.

A truly soapy, straightforward, tart orange blossom that wears beautifully on the skin. Extremely clean and laundry-like. Sillage is pretty intimate to moderate, for me. Lasting power is only about 1 hour on skin, 2-3 hours on clothes. This smells exactly like Glossier's new Neroli body spray.

Pretty, but too reminiscent of a bathroom cleaner for me to wear this out in public.

To me the "obvious" note in this eau de parfum is the fruit of juicy sweet oranges. But I was hoping Une Fleur d'Oranger's touted "orange blossom" note would come forward.✿ Launched 2020 Scent family: Citrus Longevity on me: weak

smells exactly like a freshly cut open orange with some acidity. Doesnt work for me at all

Love love love this. I'm a fan of Obvious Perfumes in general, but this one is my favorite. We have a lot of orange trees where I live, and every spring they bloom and the entire neighborhood smells unbelievable. This year especially, due to an extra rainy winter, the smell is everywhere. While I've never seen anyone successfully bottle that exact smell, this is the fragrance that comes closest to it for me. There's a citrus blast on first spray, then a soapiness comes in from petitgrain, but it only lasts a moment before it becomes the florals come in, so indulgent that they're almost jasminey/grapey. The further into the drydown, the more ginger and lemon leaf come back out, and I love the way it clings to my clothes after I've worn it. It's been my go-to spring fragrance this year. I am admittedly something of a citrus nut with my fragrance collection. Another favorite of mine is Sweet Do Nothing by D.S. and Durga, which is a little salty and bracing, great on a hot day when you can't stand any sweetness. This, though, when the sun is warm but the breeze is blowing, when just a bit of sweetness is good, is perfection.

This is lovely! Opens with a floral burst or neroli and orange blossom. It turns citrusy within seconds with lovely sweet oranges and lemons (even though lemons are not listed). Very natural smelling, no artificial toilet cleaner vibe. Citruses turn into neroli, and the lemony edge keeps it from turning soapy. I wish the orange flower was more prominent. I can't detect ginger in the base at all. It doesn't read green on me, rather like a fresh fruity-floral. Good projection, medium staying power. I really like the brand's sustainable approach.

Very clean smelling citrus-white floral combination, a bit like fabric softener, which isn't a deal breaker for me. However, like 98% of all citrus forward frags, my skin eats the orange and bergamot almost instantly, leaving a shadow of what the fragrance could be. These experiences depress me.

The opening is sweet, candy-like, orange & floral. Reminds me of those chalky orange Sweet Tart candies. The drydown is so beautiful. It's settles into a soft, slightly powdery floral. It becomes more sophisticated, less sweet. I really like this one <3

Clean and breezy. The opening is more astringent than the drydown -after a couple minutes it settles quite nicely.

Nice orange blossom. Agree it starts sweeter and then balances out in the dry down.
