White Crush

A cozier version of Byredo's Blanche. Not sweet, but warmer and rounder with the tonka bean at the base. If Blanche are fresh soapy just out of the washing machine clothes, White Crush are those clothes when you pick them up before drying them at sun. It is a clean and warm blanket. Round where Blanche is sharp. I won't say which is better, both are great as their own, but for the performance and price, I prefer White Crush, since is way cheaper and last longer than Blanche. For those looking for the clean-crisp Blanche's profile, but in a more cozy version: go for this one. It is very affordable and has an interesting twist at the opening that leads a a little savory; despite rice note not being listed, it smell ricey-clean-savory in a way that Dyptique's Papier does. But after an hour it dissapear and becomes Blanche's clean soapy scent. Perfect combination of cozy and soapy perfume.

DANNNNG this is good. Its verrrry similar if not identical to Blanche/Blanche Absolu. White Crush has a bit more of a "candle" smell to it - not as sharp commercial detergent as Blanche. Its like smelling a Blanche candle. I think this is sooo fresh, clean, soapy and crisp. White linens drying on the line in the mountain tops. l already own Blanche, so I would find this to be redundant, but I do LOVE this scent profile!! The clean, laundry detergent soapy smells are my favorite. I would say the top notes in White Crush are a bit warmer. White Crush cleans a tad more "warm linens" and less commercial laundry detergent. But dry down is identical. Not getting any rose from this at all. 10/10 recommend for clean girl energy, plus this is ALOT cheaper than Blanche. I saw a 100ml bottle for $140 on Lucky Scent Lasts 8 hrs on skin! This one is a must have in your collection

I went into niche frag store ready to maybe buy smt. I didnt plan to buy this, but after smelling it and spraying this on my hand I was enchanted and left with a full bottle of this (I am not a fan of, for example Valaya, that feels much too aldechydic and sharp for me). Especially now, in winter, White Crush seems so on point, like cold-ish, but not icy, fresh, but not harsh, and not boring as for example MFK 724 to me seems. In the summer it will be nice as well, I am sure. Very similar to Blanche, I have a sample of that one. White Crush lasts much better. I hate the cap, but love the frosty bottle, fits so well. I dont smell rose ( a lot of brands do rose too harsh for my liking) and usually I am a gourmand lover. Does not smell like soap to me.

I am absolutely obsessed with this perfume and I have to stop myself from wearing it everyday! For context, I am normally a gourmand girl but I love a clean scent too. This does smell like fresh laundry, but in that soft cosy way, rather than a sharp headache inducing way. Its not too sweet, or woody. A perfect in between. It lasts all day, has good projection, without being too much. Its also a great layering fragrance. Please wear it for the day before dismissing it!☁️

soapy and clean. not a lot to it but i love it.

This is the cleanest clean scent I have tried! I started my fragrance journey with clean scents, and even though I have found my niche in heavier incense scents, I do still appreciate a well done clean scent. This one is wonderful. White Crush smells like freshly washed bed sheets hanging to dry outside on a snowy winter day and get frozen crisp (I know exactly the smell). For reference, I hate Blanche by Byredo, which smells like cheap floral laundry detergent. Blanche and other fake "clean" (but in reality headache-inducing) floral scents (looking at you, Lazy Sunday Morning) will never come close to this, and anyone who says otherwise is just lying to themselves and others.

White Crush is a very soft, warm, and intimate skin scent. It has a slight soapy hint, but nothing sharp or overly clean. The overall feel is transparent, sheer, airy, and delicate. Very inoffensive and easy to wear. There’s a musky sweetness running through it, not gourmand or sugary, but more of a soft white musk sweetness. A subtle sharpness in the opening adds some polish and structure, keeping the scent from feeling too flat. The florals are hard to pin down, more like a soft floral veil that makes the musk feel sweeter and smoother. I don’t get anything “icy” or “fresh” here. Stays warm and gentle throughout.

I love this! Overall it is clean, well balanced warmth/freshness, light, sweet, powdery and musky. It evokes clean laundry and high-end makeup for me. On the drydown I definitely get a rice backbone, its like a warmth creamy and sweet rice milk. On the front-end I detect a lot of white/powdery musks (since the nose behind this is from IFF I would bet the musks are a mix of serenolide, cashemeran and velvione) and florals that are very sparkling yet smoothed by a velvety rose. Clean and soapy. I like it. White Crush does not last on me as much as I wanted it, I would say after 3 hours I can barely smell it on my clothes. It develops nicely, cleaner and soapier but creamier as time goes by. I think this one is the closest to dove soap from Blanche Absolu, Paper Soap, Marseille etc.

Exactly what it says it is. A powdery musky aldehydic mountain clean ai with a strong and typical white laundry smell. Reminiscent of Language of Glaciers but doesn’t smell like Nivea, or CdG 2 metallic note (with the inky smell, too) apart of the rest of the fragrance.

Super clean, like fancy shampoo or a bar of soap. There's a powderiness under the cleanliness that reminds me of applying baby powder to freshly washed skin.

Just starting my journey with clean musk scents, this one is really “Blanche” by Byredo!

A very straightforward clean scent. It’s like a bar of white soap or a “mountain breeze” scented laundry detergent. It’s very pleasant and inoffensive, but there are many clean smelling fragrances I like more than this and find more interesting.

Ooof, a bit too heavy on the aldehydes for my liking unforch. My bf liked this- he said it smelled like a "freshly cleaned hotel room". He's getting more creative at describing scents, go off king ahaha. Like Byredo Blanche but a bit less aggressive, more outdoorsy perhaps. Also very similar to the Le Labo Dallas City Exclusive scent, Aldehyde 44. A bit less baby wipe/baby power and more fresh dry cleaning being warmed in a patch of sunlight. Idk, I'm not the hugest fan of soapy scents so take this with a grain of salt. Longevity is good though, got a decent 5ish hours of wear and projected nicely.

This is Byredo Blanche's white bathroom reminiscent florals over a heart of nutty vanilla. Very strange combo, at least Blanche was internally consistent about being fresh and clean. This just smells like I'm trying to cover something up with a floral bodyspray.

I strongly disagree with other reviews saying it is identical to Blanche from Byredo. It may fall under the same "clean" category, but the two are not alike imo. Ordered a sample of White Crush because I love that crisp, clean fragrance profile. This is an unscented soap or cleaner that is incredibly strong and sharp. It is an instant headache inducer for me. There is no freshness to this, just straight up soap. If you like Ellis Brooklyn Myth you may like this one. To compare however, this one smells more aggressively of that sharp soap scent than Myth. There is no fresh air smell that is invoked by Blanche. EDIT: I also left an updated review for Blanche from Byredo. I can see why people are drawing similarities. Unfortunately I believe Blanche may have changed over time. Both like literal bars of soap with nothing else.

Very much like Byredo Blanche but better imo. It’s not as “scratchy” smelling meaning I’m not bothered by the aldehydes in here. In Blanche, although I like the fragrance, it gives me a headache so I can’t wear it. This one is much smoother and more airy. Also this performs a lot better than Blanche, cheaper too! Not sure if I need a full bottle of it but it’s nice. I will definitely finish my decant and go from there.

This is a real home run for me. I love this! It's clean. It's fresh, it's addicting. Perfect name...White Crush. It is very similar to Byredo Blanche but better in my opinion. It's stronger and way more affordable. If anything it's a mix of Blanche and Blanche Absolu. Just a smidge brighter if that makes sense. I am going through a clean laundry phase and this is a 10/10. I'm buying a backup of this one.
