OP Summer Breeze

I just got a large bottle of this today at TJ Maxx. Another lady picked it up to purchase as well, and we commented on how great it smells. I know it's a cheapie, but it smells so good. At the price of ten dollars, I don't mind reapplying every few hours. I have EL Bronze Goddess, and honestly I like this a lot more than that. To me, spending more doesn't always equate to getting a better smell. I'm going to wear this a lot this summer. I even like the coastal looking bottle, it's pretty classy looking for a low cost scent. This is in the same vein as Replica's Beachwalk, Tom Ford's Soleil Blanc and other summer beachy type scents. Of all those though, this is my favorite.....go figure. Update after wearing this summer: I'm still in love with this. Just wanted to add that this does have a background, slight vanilla scent. I have not smelled Juliette Has a Gun Vanilla Vibes, but I'm wondering if this was modeled after that scent. That one is supposedly a beachy scent with a vanilla vibe and that's exactly what I'm getting off this Ocean Pacific beauty. I'll have to get a small size of Juliette Vanilla Vibe to compare. Either way, I just love this cheapie, but goodie scent. I just reread the scent notes, and no vanilla listed at all. Apparently the coconut must read as vanilla on me? This probably wasn't modeled after Vanilla Vibes as this Ocean Pacific scent was created first.....

I've tried many high-end beachy perfumes in search of a great coconut/tropical scent and they all fell short in smell and performance... I picked up summer breeze at Walmart in a 3 pack not knowing it would be the gem I was looking for! It has the perfect blend of citrus, floral and creamy coconut and longer lasting than the high $ perfumes. Its starting to sell out online so I grabbed 2 bottles on fragranceX quickly for 16$ each... Note: I Googled the true notes for you. Top notes: citrus, pinapple, red cassis, green Mid notes: coconut, rose, jasmine, cyclamen, Heliotrope, muguet (lotv) Bottom notes: Cedarwood, musk, caramelized sugar, vanilla This perfume has alot more going on than fragrantica shows. Ocean pacific got it right with this blend! 9/10

Absolutely amazing for the price because what you get is fairly unique and very good quality in my opinion for the price. It's a great all day all night summer vibes smell. I was very surprised to smell it and it not have any obnoxious sunscreen suntan lotion smell to it that's always a plus when it comes to any fragrance that is supposed to have a beach vibe ocean smell or summer vibe. I have a little less than half of my 3.4 Oz bottle left from last summer so I guess I'll have a third summer with this fragrance and the same bottle granted I do have a rotation of probably 15 summer fragrances but this one is just very very versatile and it's great for many occasions and also a great deal.

This is a great cheapie for summer! I bought this because it was in a three pack at Walmart with two other scents (Simply Sun and Beach Paradise) for $12.99 and figured I can't go wrong and can always use them for the gym or a room spray, but what a pleasant surprise this is! It has slightly better performance than a body spray, but the scent is much more complex and well rounded than your typical big chain store body sprays. I mostly get the tropical fruits, some watery notes and a slightly woody coconut. The other two scents are great as well. You really can't go wrong with these scents for the price.

This is so sweet and pleasant. Much more on the sweet side than I even anticipated. It gives pina colada in the breeze. There’s a banana like quality that you get at times with black currant . Adding black currant to the other fruits gives it less of a smoothie vibe. It’s more sophisticated, the white florals specifically the gardenia round it out. For the price this is quite pleasant and fun. It’s a great scent to wear during summer months

Lovely warm, summer scent. Reminds me of fruity drinks on the beach. It is so nice for the price especially. There is another one in this range that I love even more, which is a bit heavier (something about 'sunset'). I got a trio at TJMaxx and no regrets, they are such fun summer scents. Last longer than I would have thought, although they do not project super loud or anything.

This is an easy going, office acceptable scent with a tropical beach vibe. It's just loud enough to create a presence but not overpowering. Pinapple/tropical fruity, slightly salty, a little coconut and sweet flowers make it perfect for summer. It's my go to right now.

This one is lovely, but it is fleeting, so it does feel like a cheapie in that sense. It’s not trying to be anything complex; it’s a simple, linear, light and a slightly fruity beach scent—but I don’t think it’s fruity in a sticky type of way. It just has a bit of fruitiness, and it’s balanced evenly with the white flowers, coconut, wood and musk notes. It’s like a 1:1:1:1:1:1 ratio of all the notes listed. It’s actually quite pleasant and agreeable to my nose, but like I mentioned, I have a problem with its longevity. It doesn’t feel like a perfume; it’s more like sweetened water. The scent is so diluted, but it also has a plastic film or wax-like texture to it. For this reason I don’t think I’ll get another bottle, but for those who don’t want anything heavy or overbearing, especially for a hot summer’s day, something sporty and casual and on-the-go, this would be a good offering.

This is a great little cheapie if you are into tropical fruity scents, like the Escada summer perfumes or VS summer body mists. It opens up with lots of watery, juicy tropical fruit. The coconut is not overpowering and does not take scenter stage, it rather lends some tropical touches to the fruit. I get some vanilla in the drydown and light breezy musk with a touch of woodiness. It seems a little more refined than the typical exotic fruity body mists etc. I really do enjoy it quite a bit. I don't find it particularly unique or "expensive" smelling. But it doesn't have to be. It's a nice easy reach for summer days.

This is a shocker for me. I got this for an absolute song! I truly wasn’t expecting to like it, but I do! It is light and breezy and perfect for the summer months. It was so inexpensive that you can spray yourself with wild abandon! It is a mix of tropical summer notes that come together in a pleasant way. I definitely pick up the gardenia. It’s actually reminiscent of something I wore in the 90s but I can’t place it. Probably a BBW body spray of some sort. This wears like a body spray so it’s perfect for the high heat months! I like it!

A nice cheapie for summer days. Easy going, light, fresh, a bit sweet, and feminine. I purchased a set of 3 fragrances in a set from TJMAXX for around $13 just on a whim while browsing. This one was my favorite of the 3 fragrances. (The other two, Simply Sun and Beach Paradise don't appear to be in the Fragrantica database).

A very pretty, fruity fragrance. Smells a bit like Bubblicious bubble gum. Nice for spring and summer. Doesn't last long but for the price just decant some and take it with you. Enjoy!

This is an excellent value for an EDP. Unfortunately the scent is not all that well balanced and is just a mishmash of all things tropical. It's great for the beach, and would probably get mistaken for suntan oil except that it has a boozy character to it. Tropical flowers and coconut rum. Bring on the Jimmy Buffett! Not sure why this tilts so female in the reviews. There is a rummy character that pulls this in the masculine direction, and the tropical aromas are genderless to me. A very unisex fragrance if you ask me.

Smells somewhat cheap and I agree with others that there doesn't seem to be a great balance between the notes in this fragrance. They all just kind of melt together and you can't distinctively tell each note apart very well. I still think it's a nice beginner fragrance, especially for the price. This could be suitable for those who are younger or might not want to spend a lot of money on a summer fragrance. I could see this fragrance layering well with other summery scents.

My experience seems to be an outlier here, but to my nose this scent is so subtle that I can barely smell it. What I can smell is nice, but it’s almost nonexistent. I got this scent in a set along with two others that aren’t in the Fragrantica database (Simply Sun and Beach Paradise), and I ended up preferring the other two since I can actually smell them.

received this in a gift set for christmas and can say i did not enjoy it. it starts out very overwhelming with no distinguishable notes — like they just threw a bunch of stuff in a pot and said oh well! or the first step into a bath and bodyworks. dried down into an annoyingly cloying coconuty skin scent with maybe a hint of something woody and floral. not a good pickup if you dislike tropical coconuts or pina coladas.

Will someone please fix the photo of this fragrance?! It's been ridiculous looking for ages now! Come on... It wouldn't hurt to add the other two perfumes in this line that came in the same gift set also. I sent a request a looooong time ago... Who do I need to ask about missing fragrances or awful photos?

This is a nice cheapie for summer. Not long lasting, but very nice and breezy, non-offensive for everyday wear! TJ Maxx had several OP scents for $10 this week, large perfume bottles too!
