Teapot Sonder

This is such a beautiful tea scent! I love all types of tea perfumes and this one is special. The way the sage, mate and green tea mingle together to create such a soft therapeutic scent. The orris in the mid and base is there to smooth the whole composition. This is a beautiful serene and meditative tea perfume, that I enjoy wearing to hot yoga or when I need something to decompress. If you love tea perfumes, this is one you must try! Love it💕

Lovely citrus tea scent, reminds me of a sweet iced green tea. I kept smelling my wrist after trying this at the store. This would make a perfect easy-reach everyday scent and I would 100% buy a decant. I’m intrigued by this brand and hope to get my nose on the rest of their fragrances. Edit- I was looking around on their website and imo their prices are too expensive for what you get. At least for this perfume. Too many brands have increased their prices in the past couple years for simple and linear perfumes that should be half what they're asking for.

It opens with a soft, zesty warmth rather than a sharp hit of citrus. There’s a subtle starchiness that reads like toasted pastry. It's nutty, faintly powdery, and just slightly doughy. Like others have mentioned, it wears sweeter than the note list suggests, but not in a syrupy way, it's more textural. As it settles, it melts into a soft, sweet‐woody haze that's gently smoky and musky, with a talc-like smoothness that leans more sugar‐dusted than stark or bitter.

such a gorgeous, unique composition imo. i was surprised to see that there wasn't any sweet accord listed. i definitely get the wood and pink pepper notes, but, on my skin, this mostly smells like tea with brown sugar. it's a nostalgic, contemplative scent, definitely unisex, kind of addictive. the only problem is the sillage is so so small and the longevity is not great either.

This smells like a grandma: sweet and kind. It's so much sweeter than the notes would lead to you believe. Like a cup of tea with lots of brown sugar.
