for me this is a bright pink rose that starts off with a bit of greenery at the start - almost sharp but not quite - could that be the starflower? after a few minutes it mellows out and gets sweeter which i think can be attributed to the bonbon note. it feels more mature than rose adage, like her older sister, not as candied and sparkling but still playful and charming. i really love this one! i could not rank my favorites of odette's rose perfumes (i adore them all!) but to me moulin rose is the oldest sister, prima rose the middle, and rose adage the youngest.

My bottle just arrived, so this has not settled from travel, but giving my first impressions: Very soft, fluffy rose. The white musk, powder notes and orris are right up there supporting that fluffy pink rose. I can’t really detect the other notes listed, yet. There’s even a slight hint of the greenery from a rose bouquet, that reminds me a bit of Goutal’s Rose Splendide, which I also have. I really like this, it’s very soft and cozy. My Rose Splendide is packed in a bin right now, so I’ll let Prima Rose sit for a few days to settle, and then I will have to do a side by side comparison, and update this review.
