Rhythms Of A Day

I was really excited to try this because the notes sounded beautiful—spices, black tea, and a warm base. Unfortunately, on my skin, this was immediately overtaken by a powdery, cosmetic floral scent that reminded me strongly of linden blossom. From the very first moment I sprayed it, that powdery floral note dominated everything. I couldn’t discern any of the individual notes at all—not the spices, not the tea, nothing came through. The scent stayed linear on my skin and never developed beyond that soft, slightly honeyed, cosmetic powder effect. It’s similar to a note I’ve encountered in other perfumes, and once it appears, it completely takes over the composition for me. If you enjoy powdery florals, you might like this. But if you prefer clear, distinct notes or dislike cosmetic/powdery scents, this could be overwhelming. Verdict: The powdery floral note dominated from the first spray—I couldn’t smell anything else.
