Chocolaterie Nut

I said in another review that my favourite perfume of all time was Lancôme La Nuit Trésor (before the reformulation), and how romantic and perfect it was. Well, it was, but after I tested Chocolaterie Nut on my skin, this scent alone it's totally unique, I've never felt anything similar. It smells like plain milk chocolate with some hazelnuts. At first I was a bit scared, since it was different, but now I love it so much. I tried Mugler Angel and I totally hated it, because on my skin it smells like plain grass and moss, I'm not really into green scents (actually, I don't like any Mugler fragrances at all). Now that I finally found the perfect chocolate scent, I hope Ohana Kameala never discontinue this wonderfull perfume. If you aren't into gourmand fragrances, stay away from this. TBH, I don't really see this as a sensual perfume (or any sweet perfume), but that doesn't make this perfume bad at all. Before testing Chocolaterie Nut and layering with other perfumes in my collection, I thought that layering Lancôme La Nuit Trésor (both 2015 and 2019 version) with La Rive Taste Of Kiss I smelled like chocolate/chocolate cake, but now, this perfume alone, it's way more realistic chocolate/chocolate cake. And this one now represents even more the song "Perfect", by Ed Sheeran than LNT, since it's more comforting scent than the latter, and I definitely see this scent as cuddling with your special other on a snowing night. as days pass by, I fall deeper and deeper in love with this fragrance, and although the combo I mentioned before is great, this scent alone is better. it smells heavenly gourmand. I'll never stop repurchasing this. I hope Ohana Kameala never stops making this gem. I'm kinda happy this perfume isn't really known, so everytime I spray this, I smell unique, and compliments are guaranteed.

So... Today I received such a sad new. They'll discontinue this gem. It is/was my favourite perfume, it's my comfort scent. I truly can't believe it. I wish it was just a dark nightmare, but reality tends to be bitter. I still have two 100ml bottles, and I'll buy some more bottles, so it would be harder to run out of this scent, and I'll use it on special occasions. This scent definitely will be one of my happiest memories in my life. I hope I can find a perfume that's good as this is/was, or even better than Chocolaterie Nut. I understand it's hard to do chocolate perfumes, but still makes me feel hurt that my comfort scent won't be produced anymore, I guess almost everyone have felt this way before. R.I.P. Chocolaterie Nut
