Flowers

The date confuses me - I've been wearing Oilily since I was a little girl as well so it has to be launched back then, right? It's a lovely, uncomplicated smell that brings back so many memeories :) Edit: I'm rather positive that this was launched in 1996 (there's also a Classic in the database, unsure about this whole mess :D). I finished the last drops of my bottle and sniff it now and then for nostalgia reasons. The scent is beautiful, though. Fruity in the opening, then flowery, woody and dry in the dry down. I received my first bottle as a child and two more for Easter holiday a few years ago by my mom. A great gift for little and big girls alike!

This is my I-don't-know-what-to-wear-so-I'll-wear-this-scent. I absolutely love it. It's so fresh, flowery and delicious. And probably the cheapest perfume in the Netherlands. At a drugstore, this perfume only costs 7$. How crazy is that? I always buy a bottle, just in case. The only thing I don't really like is that it has no staying power. It will fade away after an hour or two. So keep a bottle in your purse.

Love this Fragrance and this company. So unusual. There is nothing else like Oilily. When you spray it, nothing identifiable stands out. I get a naturally clean soft floral green scent that evokes childhood memories of being outside. Its a truly wonderful thing when fragrance transports you to a specific time and place.

I've worn Oilily Flowers almost every day for a year now, and I absolutely love it! Flowery, fresh and fruity, with enough warm base notes to keep it from smelling cheap or childish. A scent that simply makes me happy!

I've been wearing this since i was a child and now I'm 27... And I still love it like the first day. It is my favorite perfume for summer : )

Oilily FLOWERS is a simple yet satisfying floral fragrance with a touch of oakmoss and an even lighter touch of fruits. I believe that the dominant floral note is cyclamen, which is darkened slightly by the oak moss and, along with the vetiver, yields a unique, almost chypre-like complex while still feeling somehow crisp and clean. Notwithstanding the long list of fruit notes, this is not a fruity floral fragrance, certainly not in the typical sense. In fact, I would be hard-pressed to identify any of the fruits from the smell of this edp alone. I like this medium sillage, long-lasting composition and would consider acquiring a bottle, should the opportunity arise.

What a pretty floral fragrance. The cyclamen seems dominant to me - I don't pick up hardly any fruit. Also can smell the woods even from first application. Not overly original but totally wearable and worth trying.

Got it as a gift from a friend, it smells flowery, fresh and jolly. I love to wear this during sunny days. I still own it after lots of years and love it, Reminds me of my childhood :)

Testing a likely vintage bottle from a private collection I acquired: It finally happened to me! I got the 'dreaded' celery note!! I’m intentionally not rating this perfume because I am unsure if this is a juice-degraded-by-time effect, or a product of my own nose’s sensitivity to aquatic/watery-green leaning notes, but I thought it was worth documenting. On application it was an eerily accurate recreation of the vegetal, almost sharp green smell when you chomp right into a celery stick. Celery with cream cheese or peanut butter was one of the major snack food groups of my childhood, so I would know that smell anywhere. The celery does fade into the background as the heart florals, which are hard to distinguish from one another, come out. Or at least it goes from "celery stick realness" to "the idea of celery, but make it perfume." It definitely feels more 1996 than 2006; there’s definitely some influence from CK One style freshness, but it's not as... austere feeling as where that style was going by the aughts. There’s also something leaning in an almost minty direction, not icy chewing spearmint but more like fresh green mint harvested from the garden and made into tea. It’s too bad I don’t get the citrus in the top notes or much of the fruit from my bottle. What I’m smelling around the celery is a very nice, competently executed, youthful perfume for teenagers and young adults. Worth a try if you like that style of perfume and want something reasonably priced that not everyone else is wearing

Like so many else, this reminds me of my youth :) Like @nitchevo I feel confused about which one was first. I first remember smelling this in a store in Dublin in 1992. I was young (child) and remember thinking " i'm getting that when i'm older" ...but i never did. My memories of it were that it was sweet, and slightly woody. Confused as to which one i remember. Probably the only one that existed then..

Would love to know where to get perfumes from Oilily in Europe or from webshops. It sounds very nice and would be perfect for one of my daughters.

Oilily is a dutch brand they made kids fashion. They still make the perfumes and accesories. My child has this it smells fresh.
