Eagle Eyed Stranger Eau de Parfum

Well. There a re a few WOW, game changing fragrances in the world. IMHO, and of course in their respective time of release, Aventus, Ganymede, Tuxedo, Babycat, BR540, Oud Satin Mood, Grand Soir, Interlude, Mandarin Tobacco, Tuscan Leather, Oud Wood and Tobacco Oud come to mind. This is one of them. You will smell it, and you wont be able to not buy it. It is thaaaaat good. Enormous projection and longevity, added to a unique, addicting smell make it a groundbreaking scent. It smells nothing like Oud for Greatness. It is an elegant, opulent, alpha non offensive perfume. Difficult to find, but worth the effort. Try it and thank me.

I absolutely love this fragrance and just wanted to say it opens on the note which I detect in the base of Purpose 50, but amped up like opening notes tend to be. It stays linear and I love that enough to not mind it at all.

i got a 15ml as a gift . man the smell is so captivating. just 1 spray of it is enough to get complement in my office . THE BRAND IS VERY UNDERRATED .

I somewhat disagree with the reviews below discounting the comparison between Eagle Eyed Stranger and Oud for Greatness. I own both. It's a fair comparison -- There is a definite similarity between them. Before I even read the reviews here, I tried EES on my skin. On the initial spray, I immediately thought, "Okay, smells like Oud for Greatness." And for the first 30 minutes, it's pretty much OFG, with that semi-sweet woodiness. I do agree with @distictic that EES deviates from OFG after the opening. Its incense note comes out more in the mid. At times, it smells like the offspring of Initio Oud for Greatness and Omanluxury Royal Incense. But then it takes a step back. On my skin, that incense scent burns off fairly quickly and I'm left with, well, Oud for Greatness again. I still really like this fragrance, but it is too similar to OFG and redundant for my collection.

When I first smelled it, it seemed too similar to Initio's Oud for Greatness to catch my attention. However, after a couple of months, I revisited and tested it properly on my skin. It took a day of wearing to fall for it and add it to my wish list. It's airy, spicy, and elegantly unisex. For my partner, the incense dominates, but for me, it's mostly spices and pimiento, followed by incense. The bottle has a simple design, and the sprayer works great. ✨

It's like layering an incense fragrance on top of Oud for Greatness. Jordi was smart to make incense a top note rather than a midnote, where it's normally found. That little plot twist amplifies the incense and distinguishes EES from OFG.

Nice spicy and ambery opening. Up close yummy, yummy smoky incense slightly sweet. Very, very nice. If it has any kind of performance it will be full bottle worthy. 12 hours later it is still with me.

Incense, amber, aromatic spices, pepper. This is a sweet incense. If that sounds appealing to you get your nose over this. Five months later I am still getting BR540 vibes.

Well it’s definitely something From the first spray it tries so hard to smell like olibanum that it fails in this very task The opening gives you the delusion of a ride of resinous reality only to end up in a mainstream dry down such as BR540 paired with Ganymede Yes the performance was excellent but it’s not enough I didn’t like it good thing they have smell size bottles and to test them out

Cloves. Cloves. And more Cloves. The woody notes (cedar), incense, and spice (pimento) smells like cloves. Very Christmas time. I’m gonna ignore this until Fall. Hopefully, it turns into something better.

#1800 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. It’s cheaper than the two scents that smell just like it, D.S. & Durga “Rum Bay Rum” and Bon Perfumeur “602, Pepper, Cedar, Patchouli.” All three are dominated by the combination of bay leaf and pimento. Always smells like the lentil stew boiled over onto a hot stovetop and burned there. Not a fan. Chik-Fil-A doesn’t need to keep bringing back the Honey Pepper Pimento Sandwich on my account. I have six of the scents people have listed in the “smells like” section and this smells like none of them. So I’d urge you to try a sample. Definitely would not blind buy this based on the reviews. Scents that have a dozen and up notes like Clive Christian "X Twist Oud” and Tiziana Tirenzi “Chimeara” tend to hide the burned on food effect of the bay and pimento. But the simpler the scent, like this one, the more they dominate and it’s just not good. Pimento and sage can do the same thing, It’s why I gave away my Tom Ford “Grey Vetiver.” The pimento sage combo just smells like dirt from a cold cook fire. This has potency going for it. The pimento fades in about 30 minutes, so it’s somewhat wearable, but why bother? Good Luck and Good Hunting!

My first test drive of a sample from The Perfumery Barcelona. I love this one. Not sure I have the ability to identify the notes but I certainly have not come across another like this. The main association I am getting from this is the salt smell in the dunes with dry beach grasses baking in the sun. It's pretty cool. A high likelihood I will need to own this.

1 part CdG Black (or the new Montblanc Meisterstuck), 1 part VR Infrared EdP, 1 part Oud for Greatness. A dark, piney incense with a smouldering spicy pimento note (the same from VR Infrared edp), some dark and smooth oud and a tinge of smoke. Masculine elegance personified. I could see this being someone's signature. I like it a lot but agree with the reviewer that wishes there was just a bit more intrigue. I guess I'm wishing the scent was somehow imbalanced, just imbalanced in a way that I love. But that's on me and not the scent - it's almost perfectly balanced and will surely find a lot of well deserved love.
