Ever Lit

Ummm hello Ojar! I have 5 of your scents. F-I-V-E and you haven't let me down yet! This scent is beautful!! Soft spicy, fresh....i sprayed two sprays to my chest and one to the back of the neck. Let's just say the wife's eyes got a little heavy lidded and sultry when she whiffed me! For those that dont know, these scents come in tinctures and sprays with varying degrees of potency which can help you set the tone and use for the scent. For me, none of these bad boys are sillage screamers but boy do they last. Woth this one, there hasn't been a person in my space that hasnt complimented me(truthfully I've only been around 3 people who are all invariably in my home but who cares about semantics!) And the one person whose opinion matters most to me loves this!!! This is going to be worn. I will have a 2nd bottle in my future. Tantrums will be thrown if ever discontinued. If my language doesn't convince you I love this...man. Overall rating 4.4/5 --- dare I say a smidgen better than wood whisper?? Can't wait to see what the influencers say about this because if they are giving the rasasi scents love...they better compliment the ish out of this!!!

Looking at the notes in the shop, I KNEW I would hate this, and told the sales assistant that. But I tried it on skin anyway. I had to eat my words because it's quite nice. Aromatic and woody, it is smooth and not too much "marine," which I really dislike. I don't know if it's full bottle worthy, but I'll continue to test it. This brand seems to favor the synthetic aroma chemicals. In this instance it is the akigalawood, which sometimes verges on overwhelming the fragrance, particularly in the dry down. The opening is beautiful, though.

Bois Imperial with a citrus and aquatic note. Fresh, clean, slightly metallic and woody. This is a beautiful scent. Last an extremely long time especially for a fresh scent. My god this house is good. Middle Eastern houses know how to make a great fragrance and one that actually lasts. The versatility and the profile make this one of the top of the brand.

Clean, green, very woody and aromatic. Targeted unisex but it really is masculine to my nose. Ideal for spring/summer daytime wear. A safe blind buy if you enjoy green freshies.

If you like Modern Oud Moresque, you'll like Ever Lit, but Ever Lit is more powerful and rich.

I like this one. Clean, fresh, woody. Some greens in the opening with pink pepper and apple to add a hint of sweetness. Then the akigalawood, frankincense, and benzoin provide a resinous wood base. All while the marine notes keep it in the blue territory, but not generic. A few sprays to my arm last night, and it stayed over 12 hours. This is my first wear and I like it. I don't see this as a projection beast, but I do think it will create a great sillage and will last forever on skin. I will be back after a few wears, but this is good. Lastly, the write-up mentions sea foam, and I completely understand why it's at the top for the first few hours. Because of the base, I feel this is mostly male-leaning. Good stuff so far. Edit: I can get a lot of Akigalawood in this. At times, it can be a little much, and then sometimes it draws me in. This floats between being generic to being a great, blue-ish green fragrance. It's growing on me more and more as I wear it. I normally like to spray my shirt, but with this, I didn't like it. It brought out more of the incense vibe and also made some of the top notes turn sorta candle-like. On skin, this is way better, and it sticks around forever. I can say projection isn't crazy, but the sillage is good and longevity is great. It lives up to the extrait concentration. Overall, 7.5-8/10. Worth a big sample! Edit: Coming back after several wears, I wish the base notes were turned down. It's a great summer scent that gets overtaken by the akigalawood, frankincense, and benzoin. They hold a pretty decent balance for a little while, but the freshness gets overpowered by what smells like spicy resinous notes. Overall, I could see wearing this on a Middle Eastern beach, but outside of that, it's hard to decipher where you would wear this. I spray it on at home because I enjoy the scent, but that's it. Sample worthy, but sample, do not blind buy thinking it's a fresh scent because you may be thrown for a loop.

100% agree that Ever Lit smells Bois Imperial adjacent. Ever Lit's opening is more green/piney than Bois Imperial, presumably due to the cypress opening note. But that familiar soft citrus-woody scent profile is there and by the dry down, it's just Bois Imperial. Not a bad scent, but not full bottle worthy for me.

Fresh, aldehydic, soapy smell. With hints of sweetness that feels like something new. Surprisingly, very long lasting on the skin and clothes. Perfect for summer...
