Halwa Kiss

I love the idea of the 15ml fragrances... The fact that they’re well priced so you could buy more and mix is in my humble opinion better implemented than Jo Malon... I really cannot wait to see what future lines this brand will come up with... Something you should understand before deciding on buying the sprayer or the oil applicator/ rollerball is that oils do not project much yet have a better longevity... the sprayer however in this brand is the opposite case, they project a little better BUT last less... I got the sprayer because as a girl who wears hijab the oil applicator and rollerball thing just don’t work for us... Now for the fragrance itself, this fragrance is warm... not necessary Sweet like you’re define not going to smell like Halwa = candy 😂😂😂 but if you have ever went into an Arabic Halwa shop in Cairo you’ll see the similarity. You’ll smell the Saffron and Cardamom at first. Then, the slight subtle sweetness from the Honey, Dates, sesame and vanilla are going to pull you down and hug you, but what you’re going to get most is the warmth from the candy ovens... I think it’s a beautiful base in case you have an overly Floral or spicy fragrance that needs this creaminess and warmth and slight bit of sexy character

Sweet, I get honeyed pistachio- then rose. Vanilla comes out in the base. It’s not gourmand ( I don’t want to eat it) The rose is there throughout the wear time. If I want to wear something that i need to sweeten up I layer this first.

A beautiful nutty honey that gives the illusion of woods. If anything, the note breakdown on this page is very accurate. The sesame is prominant along with pistachio and honey. Saffron rounds everything up for me. On a scale of 1 to 10 in terms of sweetness i would give it a 6. Its sweet but not sickly or syrupy like most commercial fragrances. It isnt a “teenager” sweetness. Its more rounded and sophisticated. I hate sweet fragrances but I do wear this. For reference, I am 32 while leaving this review.

This is totally fine. It's a pleasant gourmand. But it doesn't strike me as very modern or unique. It feels quite straightforward.

Невероятно сладкие и приторные масленые духи, настолько, что мне плохо становица от такой "сильности" аромата, по ассоциации для меня это парфюм для бабушек, мне кажется, что они больше как зимний вариант, хотя это лишь мое мнение. по заявлению, аромат имеет следующие ноты: Top notes are Saffron, Cardamom and Pistachio; Middle notes are Honey, Dates, Rose and Roasted Nuts; Base notes are Vanilla, Amber and Sesame. Из всего, что в нем есть я ощущаю только аромат янтаря и ванили + непонятные запахи, мед мне в каком-то миксе крайне сложно учуять, а как пахнет роза я уж и не помню, все прочие по отдельности у меня не было опыта почувствовать.

Even though it's an interesting fragrance, there is something in it that just makes me a bit queasy. It feels more like a fragrance for a nice shampoo or interior spray for an hotel lobby. Edit: I revisited and I now know what it is. The honey is too sweet, cloying and nauseating for me. Absolute no from me.
