Infusion Velours Eau de Parfum

I have had a few scents with similar notes, and this falls somewhere between Gissah's Modern Heritage, which is fresh, spicy, raspberry, black pepper, oud, amber, and Frederic Malle's The Moon. All three are very well done, long-lasting, and with solid silage. Infusion Velours is the least expensive of the three but is a warmer, darker fragrance than Modern Heritage and about as equally easy to wear vs. The Moon. All three are statement-makers in their own right, but Infusion Velours is smooth and a more refined, classy fragrance, a Sigma Male, if you will, where The Moon is total Alpha Male, which seeks to knock you over the head and dominate the room. Infusion Velours is more approachable and won't give anyone standing within five feet cavities as The Moon will, either. Longevity for all three is off the charts. As for compliments, Modern Heritage has garnered many; The Moon none and Infusion Velours is pending (today is the first full day wearing, and it's now 11 hours later and still very noticeable on my skin, though I can't rate the sillage at this point. If you're seeking an oud fragrance with raspberry, spices, and incense-y notes, these three represent a holy trinity unto themselves.

Need to update. I tried Wood Whisper, Everlit, Kashmir, Encens, and Infusion Velour and none of them can get close to the profile, power, or projection of this. The fruity smell with the spicy western oud is addictive. I kept sniffing the empty decant bottle daily, but wanted to wait to try the others. I immediately ordered a full bottle after trying the others. Encens Cuivre smells a lot like side effect from Initio but without the performance. Everlit is stunning but there was poor projection with decent sillage. Wood Whisper smells odd and powdery and didn’t last.! Infusion Velour is what I consider a perfect fragrance. Profile, Power, Performance, and Price. This can be had for $120 for a 100 ml through discounters. No brainer in my book. I can not wait for the full bottle to arrive. I love these heavy spicy fragrances that put in a bubble of scent even with the windows down and doing 80 mph Finally a god damned fragrance that lasts. And Im not taking about, I can still smell it by burying my nose into my shirt at the end of the day . I’m talking about sillage and projection 4-6 hours in. POWWWAH !

#1489 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Got this as a decant and it's going on the "buy" list. Another exceptional effort from Ojar. Fruity, woody (not intense oudiess at all), some mild incense and patchouli. Attractive and pleasant. Unlike most of the scents I've tried with a blackberry note, here you smell the blackberry just fine and it's a nice touch. I'd say this leans masculine, but I know many women who could rock this. It's good for six hours on the skin, Project arm's length for a couple of hours if you don't overspray. But a day later I still smell it on the shirt I wore yesterday. So good quality. Versatile, but definitely date wear. Anyone will want to snuggle up to this scent. This is reminiscent of Amouage "Jubilation 40", which is double the price of this. And I would say if you like this it's a lock that you'd like Gisada's "Ambassador Intense" too, which is less expensive. $145 is a little pricey, but this is a scent you'll wear till it runs out, so I don't think the price is ridiculous.

Originally had this as a oil perfume from the line. Got the EDP in because a spray is more my style. Smells a little like a richer version of Black Diamond Incense mixed with a little LV Ombre Nomad. I am going to keep this is simple this is an awesome high quality scent that should appeal to the masses. If you like OUD mixed with the fruitiness of some berries from both the blackberry and the raspberry - and the cinnamon (insert a little drool here). This smells good! It might be a little heavy for the rest of you plebians to wear in the high heat but I am going to try to find ways to smell this year round whether that's on my person, on my sheets, in my car - you get it. Good stuff. One of the best so far for this winter/Fall Season. Overall: 4.85/5

In my entire collection, and everything I've smelled so far, ojar infusion velours, it's a unique smell, you get some warm notes of pepper, blackberry, cinnamon, and sweet oud, you'd make a good perfume, you wouldn't change the smell, how does the content smell that's how it smells on your skin until the next day, and even after a shower, it's very strong on your clothes, you'll probably still feel it after a week, the eau de parfum is a new range and I want to have the whole collection from ojar, longevity 10 /10 silage 10/10,, price value 10👌👌☝️☝️

Wonderful fragrance. I agree with others, the moon but without the lychee fruit and with an amber accord. Personally, I hate vanillic or ambery perfumes. Lucky for me, this dies away fairly quickly on my skin and becomes a smoky raspberry/blackberry oud thing. (The heat of the spring has helped too) It's lovely. Nothing like oud for greatness or retba (thank goodness). Pain in the ass to get in the states.

Mûre et Framboise magnifique , l'ouverture est exceptionnelle, fruitée , poivrée et le coté boisé s'instale tres vite pour devenir un parfum de peau. Ce n'est pas un oud fort , juste du bois d'agar très léger. Dommage pour la tenue sur moi qui est catastrophique. Mais le parfum est super beau

wow, this is sensational you get the fruits and the oud straight away but the best part about it which some of the comments don’t like is that pepperiness from the cinnamon and black pepper, i love it

The smokiness/incense ruins it a bit, I feel there is more to this fragrance if not all of that incense. Does not last more than 3 hours though its still strong. Combination is really good.

What an amazing high quality scent this is, fruity- smoky - the oud comes through - with fantastic performance ,with that great middle eastern vibe ! In my top 3 scents - a big love from me

Very,very,very good perfume! Smells close to Maison Crivelli Cuir Infrarouge,but is more wearable,because is a bit lighter,more fruity and without leather note.I love both of them.

Extremely well blended, complex, spicy ,and masculine. The oud is smooth and appealing. The power, profile and projection are all 10/10.

To me Infusion Velours is similar in STRUCTURE NOT SMELL to Initio Oud for Greatness and frederic malle The Moon (I own both) as the top is very fruity then it goes to woody smokey. It is so easy to wear without any of the dirty aspects of the Moon. I get the berry fruitiness throughout the life of the fragrance then it is joined with very smoky woody smell which is suppose to be the representation of oud. Longevity on skin around 10 hours. On clothes till the next wash. Projection is very strong for the first 3 hours then it gets closer to the skin but it never stops projecting with me. In conclusion worth the price. 25-DEC-2022

A fruity rendition of oud for greatness . It may seem peculiar, as I initially disliked OFG, but now I'm captivated by this one. 😂

Ok all y’all saying this has great longevity and projection need to confess. I am writing after 7 days of testing this and today I hit breaking point: 10 sprays on neck area *after* applying non scented lotion to amplify the projection (this how desperate I was). This is a great scent, yes but it projects for 1 hour and then it remains a skin scent with nose close projection. Yes you can smell it on the skin for hours, but this like literally if you are with the nose on the person. Otherwise forget it. And on clothes? For days? No way! And I own Interlude 53 so I know what longevity on clothes is supposed to smell like. Bottom-line: Do not buy FB without testing this 5 days with 2 or 3 samples for your skin type - then please come back and review. I’m feeling ripped off, gonna go through the 100ml fast with 20 sprays per wear to get anything out of this juice. Sorry Ojar...my money back...?

The notes sounded better on paper than they were IRL. Agree with PrincipeFilip's review below that it's like a combination of Haltane and Jubilation. Peppery, sweet, and oudy with a little funk.

Not bad. Very pleasant. Unfortunately one half step above a skin scent that lasts only a handful of hours.

I don’t like this brand. The fragrance loses its character quickly - just a month after purchase, the scent completely changed and started to resemble something like Lattafa. I bought it at an official boutique. I’m very disappointed, especially considering that the line was created by my favorite Jordi Fernandez. After this experience, I don’t want to return to this brand. From testing other fragrances, I’ve gotten the impression that this applies to all of their perfumes.

Mostly comes across as berry flavored cough syrup and a flat western style Oud. Longevity and projection are poor. 8 sprays lasted me maybe 3 hours. Anyone more experienced with middle eastern style oud fragrances will find this very boring to “meh”.

I’m having a difficult time not making an association to strawberry bubblicious gum. A strong perfumy fruity mix, designer bubble gum/cotton candy, incense, Oud? Maybe buried somewhere. Oud for Greatness comparisons are so off the mark, zero resemblance. This smells more like a higher quality amberwood bubblegum designer scent such as Azarro the most wanted. I’ll never understand why someone would want to smell like this. I think this is my least favorite scent profile among all of perfumery, it’s obnoxious, cloying, and perfumy.

I love all of the notes listed for this EDP but absolutely hated the sample I got. I’m not even sure how to describe the one-note pungent, sour odor I get from this fragrance. Big disappointment.

Beautiful creation! This is one of my favorites from Ojar company, I definitely have my eye on it, and in my FBW dream list. It has just a tiny hint of OFG at the beginning, but just for a split second, and the more you reach the dry down the more unique it turns out. I get just a few tiny hints to Amouage - Interlude in the dry down, but I think it is the sweet smoky note that creates this feeling. If you like sweet incense perfumes this is heaven! Such a beautiful creation. This feels very smooth, not too smoky or overwhelming, but as I mentioned - smooth balanced sweet incense wood. I don't get one particular note that could be prominent here, this is very nicely balanced so all the notes just complement each other, the raspberry is not too sweet, the woody notes are not too dry and the incense note is not too smoky it's just perfectly dark, perfectly wearable. I would love to try a body mist or oil version of this because it really just opens up on the skin so beautifully!

I adore this. I love the opening with that blackberry note, that’s very unique to me. It’s very delicious smelling and the oud is so smooth and luxurious. This was a blind buy for me and wow is it a stunner. Stellar performance too. The first 3-4 are quite strong with the sillage, borderline room filling then as it comes closer to your skin it creates a nice little scent bubble that still was projecting. I got a compliment on it after wearing it for 5 1/2 hours and it was still radiating off my clothes in the hamper the next day. This house has some great scents with great quality that should not be slept on. It’s unisex to me, maybe leaning slightly masc but I felt sexy wearing it. Gets even better as your skin heats up ;)

Synethic oud and incense with some blackberry, raspberry, spice, and patchouli. I usually don't like patchouli in fragrance but in this fragrance it's nicely blended and not very strong. The fragrance profile lives in the same family as other things you may have smelled before. For what it is and the price you can find it at discounters for, the quality and blend is solid.

I more or less wear fragrances for myself so I don't keep any special tabs on what gets complimented and what doesn't - this one is definitely in a short time one of my most complimented scents, though. Not difficult to understand why - projection and sillage are huge and that juicy blackberry note carried by the light smokiness is just universally appealing.

Oudy fruity and sexy. This has lasted many hours and has strong projection. 6 hours later and I'm enveloped in a fragrant bubble of smoky fruit. My skin just eats up perfume so the longevity on this is like a miracle for me. Perfect for date nights or just wearing for yourself.

This is almost like combining a fruity berriness, with cotton candy, and Nishane Nef’s. I don’t think it’s as potent as Nef’s but it has something that Nef’s has in it. I’m trying to figure out if I like it enough to keep.

I just tested it's a unique luxury fragrance a fruity spicy oud well balanced and mixed. I think I'm admirer of ojar perfume now after I tested there perfumes? A big love ❤ from me

one of my favorite oud perfume on the market well balanced smell luxurious not as loud sillage as I like but the longevity is really good
