Gourmand

Gourmand is a perfect scent for autumn & winter. It contains many delicious notes, however it is far away from being overly sweet. The core of this perfume is a blend of dark chocolate, vanilla, malted milk, honey and tonka bean. In the background I pick up the fig, which adds a bit of freshness, and a drop of rum applies a slightly boozy undertone to the fragrance. Thanks to patchouli, Gourmand is perfectly balanced and neither sickly sweet nor cloying. Finally, amber envelops the whole composition, smoothing it out. This perfume is a very unique take on gourmand scents. It is smooth, warm & milky; nicely blended and not overwhelming in any way.

This is a wonderfully warm gourmand autumn/winter scent. A boozy fig opening, settling into a milky chocolate vanilla set against an amber backdrop. It is a comforting hug in a fragrance, enveloping you but not overpowering you. I absolutely love it!

I tried this as part of my fragrance subscription. This is really pleasant surprise; an easy wear gourmand, which is not too sweet. Not headache inducing at all and beautifully blended. Considering a FB, and I am not usually a gourmand kinda gal.

Interesting combination of dry and fresh fruits covered in chocolate. Very unusual. I can feel some plum, grapes and maybe strawberries. But it’s also a bit on synthetic edge. Maybe because the warm spices in here are not going quite well with fresh fruits. I don’t know, but it’s definitely pleasant and enjoyable. Follow me on IG: scent.guide

Smells like tiramisu, it’s nice but as someone who prefers floral scents, I can’t think of any occasions I’d want to smell like this

This is a straight no for me. I have a full bottle if anyone is interested.

I couldn’t smell past the blast of patchouli in the opening through the drydown. This one was a disappointment and a definite no.

Milk + patchouli essential oil. I couldn’t pick up the other notes.
