I've tried a few of Olibanum s perfume. I must really say this Sacra left quite an impression. I love it! I had two small sprays ilon my wrist and it created a scent bubble around me. Even with mask on, I kept getting whiffs of the scent. well I'm not good at describing, it's really ambery. Reminds me of Jenny Glow's Amber, which is like a clone of Jo Malone's Amber and Lavender. It has been about 5 hours since and I stil can smell it on my wrist. Quite surprised that the price is quite affordable also, considering it being a niche brand.

This, as the other perfumes of the company, are very minimal. Sacra is a somewhat sharp coniferous incense. There is a methol-like note in the opening, and I also smell something that resembles rooty and earthy iris. There is not much warmth, and the perfume feels initially dry and cold. White, pure and holy. Not very approachable, but beautiful nonetheless. At later stages the Balsam Fir sweetens the perfume a little, but the overall feel is surprisingly fresh for an incense perfume.

Pine forest with fresh sappy cones on a hot, dry summer day... The smoky notes are much softer than in Apoteker Tepe; The Holy Mountain. But the rest is almost identical to my nose, trying them side by side. If you want a campfire BBQ in that sunny pine forest choose THM, if you want the campfire much further away choose this. This is also overall a lighter scent, probably at a weaker concentration.

Its like a slap in your face with a pine branch, boom-shock-gone. Wish it ́d stayed longer..

Tree sap - white musk - balsam. Very light very unique. Gone too quick.

The new trend in perfumery is minimalism And this brand follows in this trend From what I understood there is two kinds of olibanum in this fragrance which makes it resinous to the max I enjoyed the quality here although I knew the scent is weak the quality won me over Supposedly this brand introduced their fragrances as layering scents but to me they are better worn by themselves

This one perfectly captures a moment I've had so many times. Alone, in the fir forest right above my home, the air is crisp, I'm hugging a tree and thinking while enjoying the view of the city far in the distance. I would've never thought I'd like it based on the notes, but it somehow took a special place in my heart.

A subtle and fairly fleeting incense-based fragrance which veers away from a churchy effect with the addition of a musky note on the dry down. If you are looking for something more substantial, upgrade to Heeley's Cardinal or Eau Sacree.

gentle and kind. a new church where the incense lingers in the gossamer lights from stained glass windows. daytime. maybe the light fragrance from a quality hand-milled soap.

Very dark pine and incense opening but man this stuff’s weak I can put 8 sprays on my arm but it’ll just fade within a half hour to being barely detectable really disappointed by that especially since out of the brand this was the one I was most excited for.

More pine forest air freshener of my Soviet childhood than churchy incense. I am really confused by the whole Olibanum deal after receiving my discovery kit of 6 scents. Harsh, tacky and heavy-handed is how I can characterize them so far. It surprised me even more because I own, adore and generously apply Histoires’ Encens Roi. Where frankincense is hiding in these scents I still wonder, it’s one of my favorite smells and I own a ton of natural incense, resins from different producers, essential oil and frankincense perfumes, both natural and synthetics. I wondered if it was just my body biochemistry but I tried them at different times of my cycle, day, night, weather. Same results, which is a shame

Had high hopes as I had a sample, applied the whole thing and was pleased ordered a full bottle, price was great as well as shipping. But received no samples from this house which is bad customer service as they have some other great sounding offerings. After spraying 12 sprays and enjoying the initial blast it was GONE. Very weak, save your money and buy a real Incense scent. Disappointed to say the least.

Un encens fruité et trop leger , trop discret. Performance catastrophique

Olibanum's "Sacra" is the brand's flagship scent, and the rest of the line features Sacra as a foundation. Sadly, "Sacra" is really horrible, and why cade oil isn't listed in the notes is beyond my comprehension, because thats basically all I smell. Its similar to Imaginary Authors "A City on Fire", rank and bitter burning embers (campfire). Smells nothing like real frankincense. I had high hopes for the brand, as my favorite scent is frankincense. I bought the discovery set (6 samples) and every one of them has that sour, overpowering cade oil.

This is a mineralic musk bomb which sits somewhere in between the masculine woody peppery fragrances like Terre d’Hermes and the scent of the inside of a bag of raw olibanum resin. There is a ton of laundry musks here girding the whole composition, which I can’t say does it any favors. There is the vague, peppery scent of Oman frankincense somewhere in the mix for about an hour before it devolves into a synthetic laundry musk which lasts all day. All I’m looking for is a simple, long lasting frankincense frag, so far Montale is taking the prize.
