Yuzu

Wow super fresh and almost sour citrus never smelled a yuzu myself but it smells very realistic and natural to me, also reminds me a ton of Boadecia Energizer which I loved a ton. Lasts about 6 hours to me pretty good for a citrus I really might have to get this!

Great price for a niche. To me, it smells almost like a bubble-gummy "citrus" type of perfume in the drydown. It opens tart and strong, with a dominant yuzu (obviously) note. Very straightforward, and not the kind of perfume you're racking your brains to describe. Simple and pleasant. What I'm impressed with is the LONGEVITY. I've not often had citrus perfumes still be detectable beyond skin-scents >4 hours after spraying. My skin absolutely devours perfumes. This one, though, is persistent.

I smell real yuzu, beautiful fresh and clean

Blind buy based on reviews. Sigh. I’m desperate to find a high end version of the Yuzu hand soap scent from Method. Unfortunately on my skin this starts off smelling identical to a strong Earl Grey tea with milk, sugar, and lemon. As it starts to dry down I get some of the yuzu scent but it’s mostly powder. It finishes super close to my skin as a sweet oakmoss and sandalwood that smells similar to a body lotion I used to have.

I might edit this review later since it is very early into the testing of this scent but I couldn’t wait. It is an immediate dislike. Very fresh but synthetic. It smells exactly like a Vietnamese Pho broth on my skin: love to eat it, not wear it! I don’t think I will be able to wait for the full on dry-down, if any! I also tested the Ca and the Ve from this brand and was equally unimpressed. Hard pass.

After ordering a sample kit, Yuzu held up best on the test strip. A week later I can still sense it. Mate, Opoponax, Vetiver, Mate, Santal, Patchouli all faded in a couple days. However for me, Mate smells the best. Kudos to Olibanum for the pricing, packaging, and affordable shipping. Overall, a recommended company.
