Bourbon Cedar Cologne

This smells like a wood shop that has been soaking in Bourbon and dark rum for more than 50 years... it almost has a rotten/passed/fermented tobacco wood and alcohol smell.. it is very very intense.. if you close your eyes and imagine Worcestershire sauce lol well it does smell like and resemble it....and yes i said Worcestershire sauce lol...Being that I love to collect fragrances I am a blind buyer but before this fermented smelling fragrance.... you might need to try it first!!! as it is quite unusual but unique as well.....the scent 8.0/10.....strength/longevity 7.5/10 ....happy thanksgiving

I've been wearing this one for about a month now. Just on a whim I gave it a try and returned the unopened bottle to purchase it for $10.00 less in Target. It's a manly and woodsy fragrance that is not dated or old in my view. Olivina Bourbon Cedar is affordable and a far cry from some of the unisex and sweet fragrances that dominated my fragrance wardrobe. I will be purchasing the shower gel soon. Go on and give it a try and post what you think of it.

I can't recommend this fragrance more for people who are looking for something that actually smells like cedar and whiskey. It is as if they went to the woods and bottled fresh cedar shavings in a light whiskey solution. I don't really detect the vanilla, and the smoke scent is very, very light. I really enjoy fragrances that are "real," and this is about as real as it gets.

Have to add my accolades.this is one authentic smelling fragrance! The opening is sharp, but it mellows nicely. Really comes into its own in cooler weather. Longevity good very pleasant scent cloud.

My husband wears this and it smells fantastic on him. It's very earthy and masculine. Price isn't bad either.

If you like boozy, and I mean REALISTIC boozy fragrances, this one is for you. The opening literally just smells like you spilled whisky on yourself. From there, you get the inside of an old cedar chest with a teeny hint of vanilla. Basically does exactly what it says on the tin. Potent on application but doesn't last long, it is an EDC made with all-natural ingredients so it's kind of to be expected. I found my bottle at TJ Maxx for literally five dollars. Certainly worth every bit of that!

Sold near me under the "Barrel & Oak" brand. This smells like bourbon vanilla ice cream, combined with very foresty cedarwood and a smoky spiciness. It's very masculine, smells wonderful, and I loved it immediately when trying it. But, I'm glad I didn'y buy it on the spot, because it really doesn't last very long and it does smell artificial and cheap. Initially it's very strong and you get a blast of all those scents, but they fade within an hour or 2 and then it's barely detectable even holding your collar up to your nose. Sure, you can respray it once or twice throughout the day if you wanted, but then $40 for 80ml is a hard sell compared to so many other good brands in the $40 and under market that DO last a long time and smell just as good if not better. I wouldn't recommend it unless it's maybe $20 or less. Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla is similar but far better in my opinion, cheaper, and last a little longer.

Smells like old people (soaked in Old Spice) burning.

I stumbled across this one in a kitchenwares store in Boise. My expectations were not high but I was pleasantly surprised to discover in this one a fine boozy aromatic cedar wood. Very nice. So I bought a bottle as it wasn’t expensive at all. I detect no smoke and only a hint of vanilla. ---------------------- After a month of use I have discovered that this stuff has tragic performance. It doesn't last. On me it's gone from skin and clothing after a couple of hours. Essentially, I smell it when I spray it on and that's it. I won't be replacing my bottle...

This stuff is the real deal, for a real man’s man. Flannel shirt with rolled up sleeves wearing, barrel chested, wood chopping outdoorsman. I love the brand’s description about this blending with the wearer’s skin chemistry and absolutely agree. It seems to soak into your skin and become a part of you- one of those colognes where you definitely wear IT rather than it wearing YOU. Very natural- it doesn’t smell like a “perfume” at all but actual cedar and booze. If this sounds like your thing, make sure you give this a go.
