Aftermath

I‘ve always loved the smell of Rain, especially when it falls on dry earth (Petrichor). But I never found a scent that actually smells like that, but this perfume showed me, that such a difficult demand, can be fulfilled. As soon as I smelled this scent through the Atomizer from a sample, I fell in love. It opens very airy, solary and humid with a fresh grass smell and already goes into that Petrichor direction. The middle notes unleash the true character of this scent, Rainy, Earthy slightly woody and... incredibly nostalgic. It drys down more slightly woody. This is so nostalgic, it is crazy I remember, when I used to play outside in the summer and then it started to rain so everyone went inside until the rain stopped. After the rain stopped and everybody came outside again, this is what it smelled like. Rain and earth. This is such a beautiful scent which I will buy next year for spring.

Sorry to say, I’m a fan of all scents from designer to artistic/indie but this is one is truly not it, not even from an artistic perspective. Smells like an old dried urinal, pissy and like concrete. I was expecting earthy and “rainy” wet accords but nope, sorry piss is all I can get. Everyone to their own, but that’s my take. 2/10.
