Belfiore

'Beliforé' meaning 'beautiful flower' in Italian, takes inspiration from a small Omani village called 'Wakan', a place renowned for its blossoming trees and apricots. It opens with a lively citrus that soon softens into a duet of crisp and bright apricot and in honey drenched creamy gardenia flower. Soon, there is a powdery, velvet like warmth in the back from suede and perhaps the carrot note or carrot seeds may also contribute. The apricot is clearly discernible as such, it is fresh fruity and sweet at first, before it gradually becomes more creamy and milky as the hours pass. The honey here is strong and though im not usually too fond of overly realistic honey notes, in here it is so exceptionally well complimenting and fitting along with the apricot. Absolute delish. In the base it is settling into a gentle, fruity apricot skin scent, with a soft almost soapy/shampoo like cleanliness, combined with a skin like warmth from suede. Sillage and longevity are moderate. Having tested all of Oman Luxury's offerings, this one remains my favourite. It may not be the most unique in the collection but so uplifting, bright, fun and easy to wear especially in springtime, that I enjoy this one most. However, if it is singular uniqueness someone seeks, this may not be the one for them, for it is neither extremely complex nor particularly unique in execution. But for those in search for a bright, fun, sweet gourmand leaning, slightly fresh floral and realistic fruity apricot scent, I'd recommend seeking this one out! 9/10

I usually don't go for the sweet stuff but blew thru a 5 ml of this in a couple days. Just ordered a bottle and plan to use it for the remainder of the summer and throughout the fall. Oman Luxury is one of my favorite houses currently, but Belfiore is much lighter and fruiter than their other scents. It's one of their most wearable and versatile with the perfect amount of wax and then suede in the drydown to balance out the sweetness. I love the oud, leather, and spice that is characteristic for Oman and other middle eastern houses, but generally find them harder to wear in the office in the US (although I definitely smell oud and leather on my colleagues far more this year than i have in the past). The performance on this is amazing of course, and I wouldn't expect anything less from Oman. Belifiore is non-polarizing and appropriate for pretty much any situation, but unique enough that you will stand out. Highly recommend. Edit; I got rid of my bottle after a year. It started to smell watered down after a year. Maybe it was me or my bottle.

At its heart, osmanthus and gardenia bloom with creamy, honeyed radiance. The dry-down of beeswax, suede, and oakmoss is velvety and grounding, like warm sunlight on ancient stone. A floral fragrance with soul, crafted by the talented Marie Salamagne. 10/10

High quality Osmanthus-gardenia with vanilla undertones. Beeswax and suede aren't prominent, no animalic funkiness. It's definitely floral with fruity hints. Very feminine and delicate. Well blended and no synthetic base. More French style then middle-eastern. Amazing performance. A yes from me, price-quality wise. You really do have to like Osmanthus though.

This smells great, just not for me. Very pleasant musky fruity, not overly synthetic as it could have been. Maybe I should not approach this scent as thinking of it for me. I would love for my girlfriend to own it. This could easily be a signature summer scent.

Oh wow that's a class juice in a bottle! Sweet but fresh in the same time? Sexy but not screaming. All notes twisted and blended together very well. I'm not a big fan of flowers but gardenia and apricot here makes a nice some how fragile feminine scent.

Belfiore is delightful and bright scent for summertime. There is nothing groundbreaking in it but it's well blended like all perfumes from Omanluxury. Apricot note comes from Osmanthus and that is the reason why it's not juicy nor fruity and it's not realistic Apricot. Osmanthus brings the soft and sensuous touch into this concoction. The same thing with Suede - that note comes as well from Osmanthus since it has woody and leathery nuances. So suede is not utterly realistic leather which is the case when that note is made synthetically or it comes from Oud for example. I think all that is the reason why people are voting this as synthetic. When The scent of Apricot and suede comes from Osmanthus they just appear that way and that doesn't mean the scent is synthetic. The creamy feeling which some people may find here is also from the same flower but I don't think this is creamy. I think it's rather slightly milky and lactonic but I want to emphasize that very lightly. About Gardenia here: it's not earthy here but sophisticated and it doesn't offer intoxicated experience like is the case in many perfumes with Gardenia. So if you have some problems with that flower you shouldn't overlook this one. Belfiore is not sweet imo, at least not like for example Royal Incense. Honey is moderate, not at all sticky sweet or realistic. This scent is excellent to wear at the office. It's not so powerful like many other scents from Omanluxury. It's soft, sophisticated with a velvety feeling in it. Anyway it doesn't give me any wow effect and I don't get obsessed with the scent but it doesn't mean that it's not good. Belfiore is smooth, balmy yet airy, which is anything but Hundred Silent Ways. You get every note listed here. Looking at the notes, they could easily turn mango, though this one is quite well-balanced between fruity and floral with a tad bit of suede and beeswax that give an oomph while not being prominent. It's less balmy than typical osmanthus. Less fleshy and punchy than other apricot frags. Not as lactonic as I expected. Actually, I feel the carrot accord is quite prominent (and I hate carrots). The blend is unquestionable, but it smells like a well-blended, expensive beta-carotene in a bottle.

A lactonic I can get behind. If you’re familiar with Farmhouse Fresh this is Sweet Cream body lotion but instead of cucumber you get carroty apricot. Very relaxing and sunny fragrance that radiates warmth (honey). Like others have noted, not exactly groundbreaking but what it does it does very well. Appropriate for S/S seasons. Sadly, didn’t last long on my skin - maybe 3-4hrs - so I’m not sure it warrants a full bottle purchase. TBD. Edit: The more times I try this, the more I smell fancy hairspray. Not worth FB purchase.

It's the first Gardenia frag that i can accept and like it. In usual, Gardenia smells too powdery and indole that i can't stand well. But, especially this one, it's truly beautiful white flower frag blended well with lactonic and fruity notes together. I rlly loved this one, but, it leans more feminine side. So i would prefer to smell it from women

I find it pleasant as I'm a fan of honey scents, but to me (and my partner confirmed) this smells exactly like D&G's "The One" with the clear bottle and the gold cap. I would describe it as a sweet but slightly tangy citrus tree in the hot sun in a beekeeper's yard. It definitely gets more powdery with time.

Elegant smelling fragrance, but feminine leaning. Opens up fruity and white floral, dries down to a fruity, sweet, floral fragrance. Not bad but nothing new.

I agree with previous reviewers saying, that you can get the notes listed. Although you may not be able to make them out without looking at the description. Somehow I'm weird with apricot /peach notes, they tend to be more powdery and mature than I would expect (I'm expecting juicy and gourmand). This one is very feminine, simple yet elegant. My boyfriend complimented me when I was wearing it. However, to me it has a bit of a powdery feminine deodorant vibe. And it is a bit too much of a grown woman scent to me 😅 Performance is okay, nothing major but not bad either.

Smelling it form the sprayer it reminded me of something feminine looking at the reminds me of category I remember it smells like nishanes HSW and Armani si I couldn’t wear it I felt it would be very feminine for my liking

Yummy and cozy. I was drawn in by the osmanthus honey and carrott seeds, notes I'm usually loving in other perfumes. I'm not a big apricot fan in perfumes but figured I'll step out of my comfort zone with samples. The initial blast is a little rum soaked and boozy. (Second blind test - smells like pear liquor) Few minutes in you get a nice cozy dose of suede and that earthy carrott seed that I love in my Vaara as well. Honey osmanthus keeps this edible, chewy, and a little exotic, while the gardenia grounds it and makes it a little more of a familiar grounds kind of floral. Drydown is all about the gardenia which makes this smell rather common to me but the ride of the first phases is an interesting one. Very complex, worth a try!

I don’t reach for this as often as I should but when I do I’m reminded how softly delicious this smells, a gentle beauty. I was pulling out my warmer weather scents again and I sprayed this and remembered why I liked it so much. It’s that milky apricot note mixed with the florals is just a delight to wear. Good longevity with moderate projection, not a room filler which makes this great for the office, relaxing outside on a beautiful warm day, right before bed, etc. Would need a top up if going out with it on but it smells really good so I don’t mind having to top up. You can overspray with this as well and it wouldn’t be headache inducing. I will definitely be wearing this more as the weather gets warmer.

Fruity, all-round lactonic! If you like apricot this perfume is for you....the osmanthus flower only accentuates the hint of apricot even more, making everything sweeter and more lactonic, I would say creamy, thanks also to the carrot which with its sweetish scent underlines everything. I can't smell my beloved gardenia here, in my opinion, a slightly gourmand fruity scent prevails, sweet and just enough floral

I just ordered a sample of this. It’s nice but nothing groundbreaking. Opens up very fruity and dries down to a floral powdery base. There’s also some honey lingering in the background. I’m not sure I’d purchase a whole bottle because it’s a little boring. It does have great longevity though, I’ll give it that.

Really reminds of Comptoir sud pacifique Abricot vanille. Maybe more fruity and bright... It is pleasant but I don't see myself craving it. Perfect for a teen, or to wear at the beach ...

This smells like perfume. I don’t know how else to describe it. It smells like a mashup of all the most perfumey perfumes at the mall. Sweet and floral without distinction. Disappointing.
