Paramour

I love almost all perfumes from this house and I have 5 of them for now but I think Paramour is my favorite. First I was amazed by the beauty of Paramour 91 but because it's so difficult to find I gave a chance to the original Paramour and I haven't regretted it for a moment. Leather as a note can be difficult for me but I love it when it's blended smoothly with other notes like it's here. It's not challenging at all. This scent is incredibly charming on men and on women. Straight away from the start there is a beautiful subtle sweetness from Raspberry and and personally, it's that note, along with the others of course, that makes this scent irresistible. I love the sweetness combined with heavy notes, like leather, Patchouli and Amber here, and that's created by caramel and vanilla along with Raspberry. This blend is very smooth, it's velvety, it's delicious and it's classy. It's blended so well that if I hadn't seen the notes, it would have been completely impossible to guess even half of them. Paramour is an oriental scent and it has the popular combination of Rose, leather and Patchouli, but the scent has absolutely no familiar aroma from the combination of those three notes. This is clearly fruity, not floral and there is a gentle spiciness in it. If I had to say three notes that are crucial to making this so special to me, I would say raspberry, leather and Vanilla. The scent doesn't feel heavy at all even in warm weather, but it really shines now that it's a little cooler. It's not too opulent and dense, it just perfect. The sophistication in Paramour and its innocent seductive character is impossible to describe. FYI: The difference between the juice in old/new bottle is minimal. An old one feels a little bit darker and a new one is maybe a tad sweeter but very little. The difference is maybe only because of maceration. Thank you for reading, I hope my review was helpful. Did I blind buy this baby because it shares a similar namesake to my favourite band Paramore? HELL YEAH. I'm not even a fan of leather scents but thank goodness this fragrance blends and disguises the leather note well by covering it with candied fruitiness without it smelling very middle eastern at all. Scent: Paramour opens up with a caramel drizzled raspberry scent that might feel a little to sweet to some but to me it is well supported by the slight warm spiciness of the saffron and zesty freshness of the citruses to round it out beautifully. When it begins to dry down, the leather note starts surfacing but it never really becomes the main focal point which I prefer as strong leathery scents make me nauseous. The leather in Paramour blends beautifully with the caramelised raspberry and warm ambers to round it out with sweetness. Performance: I don't often call fragrances beast mode but this definitely gets very close. Lasted around 12 hours on my skin with it only becoming a skin scent after maybe the 9 hour mark and even then you'd occasionally get whiffs of it in the air. Projects like a motherfucker too so definitely be conservative when it comes to the sprays for the sake of others and yourself. Versatility: I can't see this being worn in any semblance of heat without giving yourself a headache so that definitely takes a whole season and temperature range out of its score. Definitely leans masculine with the leather undertones and it's more of a classy or date night scent as well, not really something you'd throw on for a casual night out with the boys. Scent: 9.5/10 Performance: 9.5/10 Versatility: 6/10 Personal Score: 8.5/10 A leather scent that I don't have to just put up with and actually enjoy smelling due to its amazing blend of ingredients. Would have never bothered trying it as well if it didn't sound similar to Paramore. Priorities, people!

Bottles are fantastic, premium feel and wonderful magnetic caps. Simple, clean designs and very elegant. Packaging is neat. The atomiser is pressurised and delivers a nice long and stunning spray. Fragrance is really a masterpiece to me. Raspberry is prominent and full, not overly sweet or candied, blends exceptionally with the Saffron which provides an earthy/smoky vibe to keep the fragrance grounded. It evolves into leather but not typical or strong, just balanced. I personally pickup the cedarwood here but it is faint. I cannot comment on sillage but longevity for me on skin when first sprayed was around 6 hours before I showered - it would probably have gone till 8+ hours but it was already dried down to a more subtle woody, earthy and leather vibe. This was purchased here in Oman and only after having sprayed on skin and waiting 2 hours. Well worth the money for me as well as the other pick up from OmanLuxury - Caden.

I wish people were more respectful of perfumes and the people behind them. I'm a white girl who likes what people call middle eastern perfumes. Anything that has spices or leather will definitely catch my attention. However, this isn't just any perfume. It's a great perfume. Does it have a DNA that's been used by other brands? Yes. Do I think they even come close? Nope. Not to mention the 100ML bottle isn't that expensive for a niche perfume and has a heavy magnetic cap. The notes blend incredibly well and the longevity is excellent. I can smell it from 7AM to 7PM. First, you're hit with the fruit exactly as they're presented in the pyramid with a bit of leather. As time passes, caramel becomes more prominent. This is definitely a leathery gourmand... And I am usually not into that. 9/10 perfume (only because it's very sweet.)

I’ve purchased all OMANLUXURY fragrances on their website and had the most amazing experience with them. Free engraving, premium shipping, they treat you like royalty. I’ve been here pretty much the only one writing comments and having actually seen the fragrance bottles, set aside owning them. I’m happy that the brand is alive. Caden is coming my way too. Paramour it not a banger like the many others. It’s a warm, calm fruity and creamy fragrance to be enjoyed by everyone. I like wearing it on a rainy day to pick up my mood. If you’re into leather fragrances try SERENITY. Paramour is not a leather fragrance by my standards. Wear it with pride. It’s something special. Don’t pay any attention to the comment here. Enjoy. This is an absolutely beautiful scent. The Raspberry leather note is gorgeous and maybe for a SPLIT second it smells like Tuscan Leather. That part there is fleeting and gives way to this beautiful soft, slightly spiced floral leather confection that is good. Dare I say, great. I did not have the highest of expectations for this fragrance even though the reviews for it were good. Some of the notes seemed as if they would be challenging but not at all! so soft, so clean, so unisex I am loving mostly all the clear bottles but the dark bottles (zafar) seem like more challenging bottles and scents to wear. Overall this is a 4.4/5 and while it is not a huge sillage beast it lasts!

This is not similar to Tuscan leather at all, roughly the same ballpark but I wouldn’t blind buy this because you like raspberry/leather scents. Unlike other raspberry/leather, this one has the raspberry in the background. Best description I can give is leather/caramel with raspberry and saffron in the background, the leather note and the caramel gives it this almost creamy tobacco vibe even though it’s not, this is sweet but not candied. Very unique scent overall, nothing in the market quite like it.

Beautiful. Warm leather so fresh and fine it’s almost vellum. Something like clean human skin permeates the scent - that warm muskiness of clean human skin, glazed with a crisp fruitiness. That stops short of being sharp and never overtakes the leather or is dominated by it. They weave together and you get both scents together at once. The best leather dominant frag I’ve smelt yet. This one is classy, perfectly unisex and very sophisticated. It’s flown straight to my must buy list.

The original icon of seduction. It opens with raspberry, saffron, grapefruit, and bergamot — tangy, spicy, and bright. The heart is a lavish bouquet of rose, jasmine, cinnamon, and lily, dripping with romance. This is beautifully blended fragrance i can detect almost all the ingredients mentioned above and verry smooth and good projection, by far the best fresh leather i have smelld after African leather from memo, this one is more addictive and mass appealing and every day wear,definitely not Synthetic at all ,person below talking its Synthetic either get there nose checked or looks like they got fake product 🤣

A wonderful winter scent. The florals come through very strongly on my skin but it goes deliciously with the leather and caramel notes. At first the citrus and cinnamon is very Vicks like, but one it dries down it’s a gorgeously warm yet refreshing spice. Very unisex and super sexy.

Just incredible. Forefront is leather, raspberry and saffron but then you have jasmine and patchouli that feels similar to that found in Bvlgari Gyan which brightens it up slightly. This went into my top 5 after 10 minutes of spraying a sample.

A delicious scent that has sensual biker girl written all over it. Since that is quite far from who I am, a middle aged gentleman, I would never wear it myself (at least not in public), but I would love it on the right woman.

Beautiful leather fragrance with a sweet component

Very nice sweet leather fragrance.

Paramour offers a start with a combination of fresh and fruity notes. The crimson sweetness of a barely evident savory raspberry, which is soon blended and seasoned with the exotic and spicy touch of a magnificent sweet and sour saffron, while the citrus adds a vivid fruity and tart freshness at the same time, awakening the senses at that first moment. These top notes are a bright and compelling prelude to a dazzling sensory journey to come. But it is already clear that the perfume is delicious and never sticky cloying. Then the heart will unfurl into a velvety bouquet of rose and jasmine blended into a spicy accord. This is due to the warm spicy facet of cinnamon bringing a cozy warmth that is perfectly combined with the elegance and delicacy of a very discreet rose in this composition, and a touch of dirt of an exotic jasmine. This is a very nice fragrance and as the reviewer below me suggests, it is more like vellum (calf skin) than leather. It has a beautiful opening of saffron, sweetened red berries and some cream. The top smells delicate and edible. After that the super soft vellum starts to surface which is a nice change of pace from typical leather or less typical, suede. Most fragrances from this house are pretty strong beasts, and this one is no slouch, but it's probably the most conservative from what I've tried so far. I saw a comparison to PDM Godolphin which I hate because the fruit note they use is awful, and doesn't go away. If you took Godolphin, made the fruit note very good, and turned the drydown into a calf skin, then I suppose I could see some similarities. --------------------------------------------------------------- Overall a great fragrance, but I'm not sure I need a bottle. I think Oud Aquilaria, Dejan, and Angham are good enough to own. Scent 7.6/10 Performance 7/10

Paramour opens with a mischievous mélange of citrus, red fruits and saffron. Raspberry, grapefruit and bergamot orange wraps around the deep exotic base. The fruit is tart yet candy-like sweet and mouthwatering. The citrus lasts a good few hours before it tones down. Paramour is sheerly covered by spicy balms and vapours of smoldering incense that rise up to the floral heart and add dynamism to the scent. The beautiful rose is caressed by soft leather strokes. The leather is exceptionally balanced and a lot softer than I had anticipated. It does not shock nor create discord, but it adds the right amount of texture. It is reminiscent of Halfeti in some ways. The earthiness of patchouli is heavily emphasised on my skin and together with the warmth of amber it creates depth and an inviting woody base with that gourmand touch of burnt caramel.

i really like this fragrance to be honest, even though leather frags are not my type ! It opens up really fruity I def get the raspberry note and i do like it since it doesn't come across synthetic and that itself feels pretty difficult i also like that sweet fruity quality i get in the opening. The dryed down instead is amber and a very sweet leather and caramel. is this similiar to Tuscan leather ? Yes and quite a lot in the drydown, 90% similar. Now what i do smell better tham tuscan leather is PDM Godolphin. So a arguably a sweet fruitier take on the original Tom Ford DNA. How is proj and longevity ? Light proj, more than avg longevity you might get 6/7 hrs of Longevity. I would personally wear this dressed elegantly this is not something i would wear casually. 7.7/10

My 1st impression with this was all leather. After 8 months of maceration, this now opens with a fruity sweet, candied raspberry/rose, easy to wear, extremely subtle & smooth leather. Leather fades at the 6 hour mark and becomes caramel-ish before ending as an amber vanilla skin scent 8 hours later. Behaves like a molecular fragrance = smell it around you with movement more than up close on skin. Completely non-offensive in any environment and difficult to overspray. This is more fall & spring than winter. Compared to other leather-dominant frags, this one is not strong or bold enough to cut through extreme cold. No cloying sweetness so may work on a cooler summer night. Overall very enjoyable.

Luxury packaging and masterful blending. Unfortunately, the raspberry fades extremely quickly on my skin- like within a couple minutes. That doesn't stop Paramour from being a good fragrance though. A sensual saffron and leather combo that feels very rounded, smooth, and not at all animalic, but still smoky enough to appeal to oriental-profile lovers, whilst being approachable by nature. (I like it and I don't generally like saffron.) Warm, sweet(er) notes like caramel and amber can be detected in the deep dry-down. Not my go-to due to the saffron, but still a win in my book.

Fruity woodiness. Paramour smells like leather and peaches. It is soft, fruity, floral. Has moderate sweetness from the peachy fruitiness plus the caramel. Fortunately, it is not cloying. This sweetness is drawn on a sharp and woody leather accord. The leather accord is similar to the one you find in Tuscan Leather or Irish Leather but Paramour is its own scent and does not smell like any of those. It is good and one of the better niche leather scents out there. A unisex, cool weather wear for the mature. "Like".

Another great leather scent here that can be compared to Tom Ford's Tuscan Leather (simply because it is the most well known). It is a gorgeous leather scent that has rose and raspberry aspects. If you love leathers then this is one to try. Thhis is not super unique necessarily as many houses are doing great leathers but it is well done. As another commenter wrote...I agree... if Tuscan Leather and Portrait of a Lady had a baby... spot on. So yes, quality and delicious!

Perfectly unisex to me. Love it on my partner, love stealing it from him ;) On my skin, I get fruity, sweet leather with a nice touch of saffron. The florals are there, but playing a very subtle background role. On my partner's skin, I get even more leather, still some sweetness (picking up the caramel more than the fruits on him) and pretty much no flowers. Very interesting to me how it's obviously the same fragrance but still quite different on both of us.

I wasn't familiar with this fragrance designer, but I was pleasantly surprised. It is airy, floral and fresh. A nice scent for spring, the citrus notes add a solar quality to it, very well balanced with the raspberry and saffron for that sparkle and sophistication. Beautiful blend of the heart and base notes, it feels very balanced and not at all overwhelming.

Beautiful fragrance. Sweet but not overbearing. And the leather is not too strong so a woman can wear it. I bought a sample for myself (male) but gave it to my wife. I think it leans more feminine. I really enjoy it on her so I bought a full bottle. Great longevity and projection. She wears it year-round.

Très beau parfum cuiré et fruité Il n'est pas du tout semblable à Toscane Leather , il est beaucoup plus doux et raffiné avec la framboise et le safran/caramel . Il projette tres bien la première heure mais malheureusement la tenue n'est pas au rendez vous. Totalement mixte , très belle composition.

Paramour opens with a nice blend of saffron and fruity notes, definitely a special start. The rose and florals come through smooth and well balanced. It’s a good mix of floral and sweet. I’m not a big fan of leather so that part doesn’t fully work for me. Great scent overall but maybe not for me.

Lovely, sexy and grown. To my nose: Opens with nice creamy white florals then the sweetness comes thru with the tiniest leather you could think of. All the bold notes are mellow, making this very smooth & creamy, I like it.

A spicy but smooth raspberry leather scent, warm and appealing in the colder months.

This is definitely a very well-crafted, high-quality winter fragrance that’s perfectly suited for everyday wear. Although its note breakdown may look similar to many other perfumes, it doesn’t actually smell like any of them. Unfortunately, I found it quite sweet. Fragrances with a strong sweetness tend to become overwhelming and tiring for me. That said, if you enjoy sweet scents, I would highly recommend it—it’s a unique winter fragrance that’s likely to be well received by almost everyone around you.

To my nose it’s a softer take on initios side effect but without the boozy notes A smoother version of the typical vanilla/amber that seems to get done more and more everyday If I never smelled something like this before I might’ve loved it but since a lot of fragrances already used this combination it’s nothing special to me and not worth a full bottle

Sweetness overdose. Loads of caramel, raspberry, vanilla, tonka, saffron... The performance is over the top and this is a very feminine to my nose. And the leather here is a very soft artificial leather, not smelling like real leather at all.

Opens like a loud cousin hollering hello in your ear with a simultaneously too tight, too long hug. You can tell they're genuine and sweet but it feels too enthusiastic and intrusive to actually be enjoyable. Nice but definitely not smooth. I want to simplify this scent or turn down the volume. not worth looking into, kinda dull, kinda synthetic, very underwhelming. I'll look for something more whelming than this.

How to be liked in 3 easy steps: -Display a sense of humor -Be vulnerable -Wear Paramour @OmanLuxury, you gotta push your product stateside. It's only so much cheerleading that I can do. If you love London Widian, then be prepared to marry Paramour on the spot. Immediate phrases that come to mind are super nice and instant gratification..In the lead roles, both amber and strawberry are outstanding, layering their performances with snippets of gourmond goodness. This is an engagingly motley, good-hearted perfume, with just enough leather around the edges to give contrast and relief to its glowingly benign contribution into the atmosphere. Gentle notes like musk, saffron and jasmine forms a camaraderie that's both dainty and poetic. Although thin in size, this oriental is able to sustain itself throughout its duration while keeping you enraptured with its remarkable features. Paramour is more about shock treatment than a schematic development and that's not to say there isn't a true Top, Heart and Base. Just know that women won't be able to say no to this, it's like a wedding ring. Here's a BBW that we can all love... Blind Buy Worthy!!!

It's in the same style because of how the leather is used with the fruity notes but this does not smell like widian london at all. It opens up very fruity and I would say the most dominant note is peach which comes across as candy like but you get the leather undertone quite quickly what you would recognize as fragrances like widian london or Tuscan Leather. The difference with those fragrances is that it's only raspberry especially in the widian one whereas (more prominent) Paramour is more fruit/peachy. From mid to the dry down the scent stays linear, but instead of the peach you get more like a faint caramel/leather smell that stays sweet but is still balanced and not cloying. The overall experience is smooth and I like it a lot but it leans on the sweet side. Easy to like fragrance, not difficult to understand but also not that complex, it doesn't change phases it's a linear perfume after the opening. Finally this one performs really well it has excellent longevity. For the leather lovers like I said it is more sweet.TL is maybe a better option in this case. So far a 7,8/10 for me (sample)

I begin saying that in my opinion perfumes with something masculine in the background, worn by a woman, elevate her sensuality to the nth degree. I count Paramour among the fragrances that have this merit. The opening is fruity, "sugary", caramelized, then ,durino evolution, a masculine, amber and leathery character overwhelmes and gives it a unique personality. I always perceive the sugary notes in the background which harmonize and don’t make too much hard this fabulous synaesthesia of Notes. Worn by a man it makes him elegant, otherwise by woman it makes her strong and sensual. Artemisia Gentileschi in a modern key.

A feminine, fruity, oriental take on leather. It's like if Tom Ford's Tuscan leather and Frederick Malle's Portrait of a Lady had a baby. Very nice, although I have to accept that caramel is just not my note! This is a sweet bomb, with a soft suede rather than a hard leather. Raspberries and florals get a little lost, there for the fruitiness and femininity but not as distinct individually, all I smell is sweetness, tartness, spices and leather. Men can pull it off but it's sweetness and fruitiness may cater more to the ladies. if I had to pick an affordable comparison, Black Sugar Aquolina.

A light soft wearable tuscan leather. I've smelled this scent profile so many times, it's been done too much in my opinion. For what it's worth this one is a decent one, not too leather forward, not too much medicinal kick from the saffron, not to sweet. Very unisex.

Here is all the raspberry leather fragrance using Tuscan leather as the benchmark. Paramour - Sweeter, smoother and more mass appealing, less leather focused. Baccio immortale - more peppery and fresher London - more green and most raspberry esque

It smells like the weaker version of Mancera Silver Blue. Unfortunately I have both this and silver blue . This one is definitely more leathery but that’s it. Other than the leather , it is just the weaker version of silver blue

I don’t think it is similar to Tuscan Leather. At first It smelled like something from Amouage or Parfums de Marly. But soon it became a floral like many of Tiziana Terenzi or Xerjoff. Not my favorite.

This is a pomegranate berries + a little roughness of the pomegranate peel + barely noticeable warm leather. This fragrance is very similar to Arabesque Perfumes Kohel.
