Diamante

I have the White Diamante as well. I am very drawn to it! It is more complex than the Diamante. This is true with Madera and the White Madera, and also the reason why I chose, and love, White Madera. I am a huge fan of Omnia Profumi fragrances and if you love sophisticated gourmand scents with depth I think you would be as well. Most of the feminine scents are gourmand. The exceptions would be Peridoto and Aquamarina which are lovely and light Summer scents for casual days/activities, and sports.

White Diamante is a chocolate and vanilla gourmand. My husband loves it, but for me it’s only a strong like — taken down a notch due to the over powering initial stage. I have a hard time isolating additional notes because this is blended well, and it stays linear throughout its life becoming softer through the drydown, and that’s the stage I like best. The first stage reminds me of an Arabic perfume. It’s very potent and concentrated, and though WD smells like quality I pick up a strong synthetic. I like it but it verges on headache territory for me. (Luckily the three times I have worn it that has not happened). I would spray this a good hour before going out in public. Great performance from another quality offering from Omnia Profumi. This is a unisex gourmand, better suited to cool weather. This review is for White Diamante. In the fragrantica data base there is only Diamante so I’m not sure they are one and the same, but the notes appear to be similar. Edit: I think I’m smelling a synthetic Oud. This perfume has extreme performance, last more than 12 hours.

Diamante smells exactly like Byredo's Black Saffron. It was the only thing I could think about when I smelled Diamante for the first time and ever since.
