White Madera

This is absolutly delicious..if you love black licorice. I do! It starts with sweet black licorice . A few seconds later the vanilla and a little coconut comes through. I don't get any musk on my skin. It's really yummy. I layer it with a licorice oil just to help with longevity. I wish it lasted longer. I feel that it lasts as long as a body spray but I may have become nose blind to it because I've had people around me tell me that I smell good and ask what I'm wearing. So it starts off strong but gets close to the skin after 15 minutes. I did spray some on my hoodie and the next day I could still smell it lightly. It does a really good job sticking to hair. This is the Holy Grail black licorice perfume for me. I'm going to wear it again tomorrow and see if anybody smells it on me after a few hours, I will come back and update. It would layer nicely with other perfumes.

What a delicious scent! A cool, almost minty take on vanilla. Brings to mind eggnog and ice cream. I see this being quite versatile, and inoffensive to many but definitely not "boring". The anise kick gives it a bit of intrigue, but it's overall a very pretty, wearable, and enjoyable scent.

Perfectly balanced gourmand. Anise, Vanilla, coconut in the background, heliotrope. I am not a particular gourmand lover, but this take on it is sublime. Some might argue they love the scent, but do not want to smell like anise-candy. I don’t care, this perfume has won me over.

This is a yummy, dessert-like vanilla. I find all the other notes to be supporting characters there to create a more layered and cake-y vanilla. I'm an anise fan and was a little disappointed that it is not featured more prominently, however the subtlety makes sense with the rest of the composition. Sweet generally speaking though not that sweet for this genre specifically. I'm assuming this contains vanillin and some trace of vanilla bean, which I personally find makes for the best balance in a vanilla perfume. The quality reminds me of the DSH vanilla perfumes; I would recommend trying those if you enjoy this style. No killer performance here but I think its softness suits the scent overall.

This is wonderful - the anise absolutely sings in the best possible way. The original Madera I found the coconut note to dominate a little too much. And although I love coconut, I just couldn’t vibe with it. White Madera on the other hand is more captivating and interesting. It’s a little bit licorice-y but with a wonderful elegant creaminess. The only thing I am sad about is that the anise doesn’t last long enough before settling into its backbone which is still a lovely elegant gourmand.

Bitter sweet black licorice. Wow... Balanced anise vanilla flavor on a bed of mature milky coconut soaked in cinnamon powder. It is partially gourmand and the other part is sort of suntan lotion. It's not sickly creamy sweet but the vanilla begins to rise clearly after few minutes with hints of the sour spice of the anise. I just hope the anise remains as I think it become weaker than the overly vanilla notes! But good that the coconut remains there. It is quite an interesting fragrance as I am quite good of coconut AND anise. I need to test it more often cause I believe it could be one of my favorites.

At first sniff once I sprayed it, I was in love. However the longevity isn't staying on long for it to get a compliment. It simply vanishes after 30mins. I was looking forward to this being an signature scent for all time however it will take a number like the others who started out with great optimism but now they are shelved like decorations. It smells like licorice, play-doh, coconut, vanilla and anise. I do not smell the cinnamon nor cedar/pine. But it smells great but the longevity is weak!

On me this was vanilla, caramel, anise and musk. Too much musk but then again I can only take musk in very small doses. I think I'll stick to Omnia Madera original with its simple vanilla caramel notes. I enjoyed testing this one but it's not bottle worthy for me.

This smells exactly the way that 'white chocolate liquorice bullets' taste. A creamy, white-chocolate-like vanilla coating a strong backbone of liquorice/anise/fennel. Well blended, strong yet soft at the same time. A very unique gourmand!

I must find this perfume. What a cruel thing it is to show a perfume that has notes I love and not have it available! I will not rest until I find it.

Such a fantastic fragrance! Reminiscent of a peppermint sugar cookie.

This is a big favorite of mine; a lovely gourmand scent.
