Handfidance

I love this. It was a complete blind buy, and a complete success! (I was due one, haha!) I genuinely don't know how I would catagorise this scent...I guess "sweet woody easy grab" would sum it up best. I can smell the patchouli (which gives it depth), and I can smell the hinoki (which gives it freshness). I can smell a sweetness (I would say from the benzoin--I don't really get "vanilla" or "tonka", but more an "amber"). There's a bit of cedar giving it that "outdoor" touch, and maybe a light musk holding it all together and giving it cohesion. I can see how it might remind some people (especially those who don't dig "sweet" scents) of La Nuit Tresor...but as a big fan of LNT I would say maybe only 8% similar. (Unless you were to spray LNT on top of something very rugged and pine-y.) As a female, I feel I can wear this with no problem (and it's the only scent I get compliments on each time I wear it!), and I could imagine loving to smell it on a man, too. (Mmm, it would be dreamy actually.) A scent I would put in this same kind of genre would probably be Cape Heartache by Imaginary Authors (with the strawberry and pine in that swapped out for benzoin and hinoki in this). If you like that one, you may like this one as well. :)

It makes me think of an special kind of "exotic" travel (specifically, don ́t know why this smell brought to my memories a super cool trip to Senegal, maybe because of the wooden souvenir in flea markets?) and also about a temple (but not super magnificent, maybe a tiny special small church in the middle of the woods). there ́s wood, there ́s rose, and there's sweetness beind. It smells sophisticated and dries in a very pleasant dreamy fragance (that my kid did not like). And it lasts At first I thought (because of the wood + rose) that it was not my cup of tea but it ́s somehow growing on me Would say it ́s more for winter/autumn. I totally recommend Once discovery set (which in Italy, maybe because the brand is italian, is great value for money)

Sounds quite niche, i am pleasantly surprised! It's sweet, but not overwhelmingly sweet! Really nice and quite long lasting scent :) UPD: it's sweet, but yet it better performs on men (tested out), ofc, IMO :)

Yes, a vanilla. But not too cupcake. Quite grown up with woody nuances. A little bit of Tom Ford vibe coming through. A vanilla trapped in musk and woods.
