Pherody

I blind bought this because I found a really good deal on the net. This is a very peculiar fragrance, it starts citrusy but the flowers are immediately there, it dries down with a certain vibe that makes the fragrance feel a tad like fragrances such as Juliette has a Gun and Glossier You but with an added creaminess and vanilla, the flowers never leave the fragrance either. Sadly, after using it for a while I got wildly different reactions, most people say it's really delicate and cuddly, but two different people said that it has a weird similarity to cat urine...take it as you will, I don't see the resemblance at all and I always feel amazing when I wear it. Performance is decent too, after some testing it lasts around 5 to 6 hours, it is NOT a projection or sillage beast, it's more of a medium performer in those fields, but it works in favour of the fragrance since I believe this is more meant to be an intimate smell rather than a chem bomb. It's a bit confusing to me because since it has Lorenox and Orcanox as fixatives I thought it'd last longer, maybe it's because of IFRA compliance, dunno. Season-wise, this could be potentially worn year round but it doesn't have the kick to cut through winter imho.

Unisex but I think it's completely feminine. The Floral and Musk scent is very soft and smooth, like a cotton ball but not at all sweet. I loved it from the first sniff, this is truly a hidden gem. It also reminds me of Trussardi Donna but less Citrus, more Flowers, and I find Pherody even more pleasant than Trussardi Donna. I imagine a peaceful scene of a spring-summer day, like Vibes in the movie “Antoinette” or “Little House On The Prairie”. I absolutely love it, will be buying a large bottle soon because I want to wear this scent everywhere! Rating: 8/10, I'm obsessed with this fragrance

I tried lipsens once recently and it's very much similar DNA - lots of vanilla, woods, sweet. This one is more airy and a touch more fruity but the pear isn't distinct to me - overall lighter and more suitable for daytime / springtime wear than lipsens as that one is a warmer more on the autumn / winter side. Love both, I was hoping for a more pronoucned pear but the vanilla and blossom works really well. Gardenia not really present which is a good thing for me.
