Jasmine Tea

One Day’s Jasmine Tea brings photorealism to another level. One spritz fills the room and all heads turn in your direction. This lasts for about an hour before mellowing out. There’s a slickness here that exists in the realm of “soapy” but with the highest of accolades. The way a professional cleaning product with a mandatory MSDS promises to remove a stain or stink where typical home products fall short — Jasmine Tea puts an end to your pursuit of a pungent jasmine fragrance in one fell swoop. Layering this with Le Labo’s Another 13 drives this haute-couture janitorial image home. If Another 13 is John Galliano then Jasmine Tea is Pat McGrath. The combination transforms me into Gwendoline Christie walking Margiela's SS24 show--- a masculine femininity--- a seven-foot china doll. It’s also worth mentioned what an amazing effort One Day put into their packaging. The lid to this bottle is MAGNETIC — which I have never encountered before. The atomizer is like a mechanical sneeze— brisk and mighty, almost aerosolized. The bottle comes nestled in a dense-foam-filled box immune to the indifference of USPS couriers. Jasmine Tea is a force of nature. One Day substantiates the belief that a little flower can leave a large impact and pays homage to its role in the millennia-long relationship humans have shared with tea. This fragrance gave me confidence through beauty and I walked around the city shedding a collective memory to strangers in passing. Easiest blind buy ever.

I recently bought some makeup from Victoria Beckham and I got two of their perfume samples (Portofino & Rêverie). I immediately tested Rêverie on my skin, liked it, and I was happy (and a bit sad because it's too expensive!). What made me even happier was that a lady stopped me in a grocery store and asked me what perfume I was wearing because I smelled lovely. I don't get much compliment about my scents so I answered in a very awkward manner and we exchanged goodbyes. THEN I CAUGHT A WHIFF. A whiff that was so stunning and ethereal that it actually stunned me. It was coming from that lady. I had to chase her and ask the same question. Ultra mortified but I'm glad I did. She told me she was wearing Jasmine Tea from One Day. I couldn't stop thinking about the scent ever since. It was like the scent had invaded my brain. It kept telling me that I needed it, it was the only thing I need in my life.... So I caved in and bought a full bottle without even testing it on my skin. No regrets. This is a nostalgia in a bottle. A beautiful nostalgia that reminds me of memories I never actually lived yet so real, heartbreaking and beautiful. It's so so peaceful and calm but at the same time turbulent to me also, as if I'm sensing the storm coming on the calmest day. It doesn't last so long on the skin but lingers well in the hair and on the clothes. Definitely one of those "signature-worthy" scents. Love love love this one.

I wore Jasmine Tea on a trip into the mountains with my mother and dog. We went in search of fall colors before the leaves began to drop. I brought my sample with me on a whim, and splashed some on my wrist as we rolled through a swath of open fields. To my right, I saw a pregnant woman in a long dress, kissing one horse in a field of horses, a dog at her feet. On my skin, Jasmine Tea opens with a bubblegum blast of jasmine, hot pink and giggling. This was unexpected, and not what I had remembered from the time I had worn it once before. It made me think instantly of Diptyque Olène; in other words, a Bridgerton floral. After awhile, it became more herbaceous, and only more magical. Clary sage is a scent that has entranced me since I was young and playing around in my hippie mom’s Burt’s Bees cosmetics, and it’s soapy and delicious here. My experience with Jasmine Tea is very clean and crystalline, a bit more iced tea than hot. I remembered trying a perfume of a similar idea, The Point, which had a bad effect on my life for the few hours I could smell it. Something about it made me feel like I was standing in a dirty parking lot overlooking the ocean. Churning, moody, rancid. Anyway. No need to gossip. Whatever is dirty in The Point is clean in Jasmine Tea; maybe it’s the porcelain?

this. this is so good. i'm usually left a little wanting when it comes to most tea scents — i have an unfortunate love for weird photorealistic fragrances that smell Exactly Like What They're Describing. so when i first got a whiff of jasmine tea, i was in love. it opens with very strong bittery, tannin-y(?) tea leaves, and the jasmine seems to float along beautifully, enveloping me in a scent that smells exactly like a cup of jasmine tea that was oversteeped just a little. this is so fucking good. this is like crack to me. i don't even care that i sneeze uncontrollably when i first spray it. when you're in it for the love of the game, you're in it forever. or whatever socrates said idk it's an incredibly light, refreshing scent! after it dries down, i definitely feel like it gets sweeter. not to an overbearing amount — like adding a single cube of sugar. i find that it loses the strong tea leaf smell the longer its' worn, but you can still tell it is A Tea... if that makes sense. Lol. it has just Ok longevity, sitting at around 3-6 hours on my skin, but if you spray it on your clothes, it'll last the whole day! so do that 👍 overall rating: 10/10 — i just spilled actual jasmine tea on myself and can barely tell the difference 🐦🍵

If you are looking for something that smells similar to hot jasmine tea, there is no way you are going to be able to find something more realistic than this. The same word keeps popping up. Realistic. I see it so often that I thought people were getting paid to say it by the company. But it's true. I drink jasmine tea almost every day and this fragrance is literally spraying jasmine tea on your body. Yes there are other elements that heighten the experience, but it is more like the experience of an expensive jasmine tea with rare ingredients than it is having elements that don't belong added to the fragrance itself. It's not simple, it's just been edited as it should be. Anyone who's been trained expertly in design and art understands the concept of editing down. That concept has been done here to perfection. There's nothing more to say. This is perfection when it comes to Jasmine tea as a fragrance. Something like this is what makes me want to continue in my collecting. Fragrances like this don't come around often and don't stay. The ingredients are evasive I'm sure and are Essential. I suggest we all purchase it now while it's still here.

I'm an avid jasmine green tea enjoyer and... this is it. This is the one . If you're looking for a true cup of quality jasmine tea, say hello! I've directly compared it to Chasing Scent's Tea Service, and One Day wins out. Both are pretty realistic, mind you, and I don't think you can go wrong with either one, but Jasmine Tea is true to a GREEN tea (Tea Service is based on oolong, so it's earthier and has a kind of dank undertone to it), and that's what I prefer about One Day's offering - that green tea note is on point. It's comforting and refreshing, just like a real cup of jasmine green tea would be. This is amazing in hot weather, and can easily see it being a summer signature. Longevity is about average. I also want to mention I owned The Vert au Jasmin by L'Occitane in the past, so if you're familiar with that one (or lamenting the fact that it's discontinued), my opinion is that this one is way better.

As other reviewers have mentioned, it definitely comes off as bitter upon first application! But it's a very authentic bitterness, and almost exactly what you'd smell from authentic loose leaf jasmine tea. The longer you wear it, the more it becomes a sweet, clean and natural scent. I love tea, and this feels like a very elegant and inoffensive perfume for any occasion/signature scent. My only gripe is that it doesn't last for too long, but I also applied it via a small dip stick sample tube on my hot points (wrist, behind ears, behind knees, chest, and inner elbows). Perhaps it would last longer if sprayed, but after 4 hours the scent was barely noticeable to me, and not at all noticeable to others directly smelling my wrist. Still a WONDERFUL and unique perfume, considering purchasing the full size.

I definitely get oolong tea and jasmine plus somehow a hint of citrus, which seems to make it more aromatic. It is interesting that the perfumer decided to use oolong tea as well instead of just green tea for jasmine tea. Oolong tea is earthy and woody and in my view doesn’t suit as well as green tea. That said, this is still a nice perfume. If you don’t mind strong citrus in jasmine green tea, give Fragonard’s Jasmin Perle de The a try. That one does not use oolong tea. Update: 3/19/2025 I sprayed this again today, and it is so elegant, beautiful, and serene. I am upgrading to love. Update: 07/03/2026. The more I wear, the more I love. A realistic jasmine tea. This is so so good. This is in my top 3 tea fragrance, and I have had about 40 different tea perfumes.

this is so beautiful! the first more-expensive perfume I have bought. It opens very with a very strong jasmine tea scent that's very realistic. it's a bit bitter in the best way. the opening also reminds me a bit of chocolate? on the dry down, the scent becomes a bit sweeter, which I love. this scent is very clean and green while still being earthy and grounding. it's sweet in a very unique way. I like how this smells on me on a hot day, almost reminds me of a pool, perhaps one surrounded by a garden. can't wait to wear this in rainer weather and in the spring as well!

Yessss as others have mentioned this is straight-up jasmine tea. Huge, fresh jasmine note coupled with green tea—bitter tannins and all. I love a good jasmine tea fragrance, and I have smelled some good ones, including L’Artisan’s wonderful Thé Pour un Été, which I own, but nothing can compete with the crystal clear purity of this one. Not a wimpy scent, I get 12+ hours wear just dabbing from the vial. It’s like 32F outside right now, and it smells divine. I have no doubt it will be great in any season. I love all of his tea perfumes!

If you’re looking for a realistic tea scent this has to be one or the most realistic I have come across, bitter well steeped tea, green, jasmine, and comfy as you would expect from a tea scent. There aren’t other notes to obscure the purity of the scent, just light accents. The realism in this and Taipei are impressive. So true to the inspiration with great longevity. I am not wearing this to smell nice but for the enjoyment and nostalgic comfort of the scent.

Wow. I just got a sample of this from Lucky scent and I am in love. It smells exactly like fresh brewed jasmine tea. The kind you get a dim sum. But as it lingers on your skin, the tea mellows out into a gentle jasmine. If that makes sense. It opens with a strong burst of tea leaves and mellows out into a soft floral. It is so beautiful. I am normally not a tea person but will be buying a bottle of this for my collection. So unique, floral and clean.

FIRST COMMENT!!AHAHA greetings from Hong Kong this is the closest tea scent I have ever tried!!!As an Asian this just smells like when we go to Yum Cha, the waiters give you the tea this is how it smells like!!!! exactly the tea we used to know and drink when we are a child LOL super realistic IMO the so called tea scents on the market are not really how tea smells like in Asia countries !! If you grown up in Asia I thinkyou'd like this!

East Asian perfumers are doing really special things rn and this house is impressive. I’m a jasmine maniac and I love this scent. It’s photorealistic jasmine tea, very fresh and it’s got just a pinch of sweetness. Wish it lasted longer. Could wear this every day. Update: bought a full size bc I love it, since I got the sample I’ve been trying to put my finger on a “purple” note I always get and eureka it’s Welch’s grape soda :)

The opening is pretty strong with the jasmine scent, but after a few min. it smells EXACTLY like a cup of hot jasmine tea. It's crazy how accurate it is. Initially bought a sample expecting it to be meh, but it lasts pretty long on my skin (6+ hours) and projects pretty consistently throughout. Overall I absolutely love the fragrance, it's clean, powdery, musky, and floral.

Extremely realistic jasmine green tea scent. This smells more akin to smelling the loose pearls than a freshly brewed cup. I love how the green tea note stays dark and earthy throughout! Only thing to consider is if you prefer masculine frags , you have to be comfortable with the nature of jasmine being slightly feminine leaning. Last a good 8-9hrs and project very well!

Smells exactly like those jasmine tea bottle drinks in Asia. The jasmine is very strong, but it's mellowed by the astringency of tea and honey. Very impressed by how photo realistic this is. I'm always disappointed by all the tea fragrances I've tried, because they never actually smell like tea. I'm so glad I finally found a real tea fragrance

Soft yet bitter jasmine tea, floral in a way that only jasmine tea can be. Like others said, it is so very photorealistic. Probably the strongest of the One Day Tea line (it only slightly decreased in sillage on the test strip I had sprayed in onto 12 days ago, kept most of its actual note composition and complexity).

This is, without a doubt, one of my favorite perfumes I've ever experienced. It's photorealistic. It's indolic. It's tart from the tea. It performs stupendously and stays true from first spritz to dry down. Excellent sillage, and it stays on clothes for 6+ hours.
