Bittersweet lovers rejoice. The cleanest coffee-toned scent I’ve encountered. Bitter roast beans melt into bergamot-varnished cedar. There’s dark chocolate and chilled cream too. Despite all the cocoa and coffee, everything about it feels airy and cool. A true unisex, handsomely androgynous. Primo tier scent for rainy day reading or art gallery wandering. Its only sin is its longevity, though I was still able to catch whispers of baritone bergamot throughout the day. Mental Snapshot: Your drink of choice is drip coffee. Your go-to fit is a wool trench and kid leather gloves. Your ASMR is art restoration videos. Your dream house is Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater. Your sun is in Capricorn. Not that you believe in that stuff. (Very Capricorn of you). tl;dr: mod academia ☕️🧥

I can’t believe this isn’t more hyped up. I had the most delightful experience smelling coffee fragrances at Ministry of Scent in Pacific Heights - San Francisco. I went in already well acquainted with the major options and felt certain I’d be walking away with either Followed by Kerosene or Akro Awake - both great but this was exactly what I was looking for. Sweet, warm, bold, and calming. Like a specialty latte in the snow. It’s actually a lot like Commodity Book if that perfume had coffee and hot chocolate notes. I might have never discovered it had the incredible staff not pointed me to it. I highly recommend visiting the store if you love niche perfumery and picking up a sample of this one if you love coffee scents.

my mom sent me this from hk and upon seeing the bottle i totally was not expecting to be kicked in the nose with espresso. definitely not complaining though, it’s a comforting scent, like you’re sitting by a rain covered window eating a croissant and drinking a coffee! so delicious

Very nice! You can really smell the bitterness of freshly brewed coffee and the cacao is not a fudgy sweet chocolate, but instead it’s like a dusting of cocoa powder on the top of your latte. The cedar really comes through in the dry down and gives this cozy and warm woodiness. This is like walking into the most posh coffee shop in the city in the middle of autumn. I don’t find that it projects very far or wears very long, it behaves more like a skin scent.

Strong chocolate and coffee notes with this, reminds me of a cosy Korean bakery with fresh coffee and croissants. Strong projection and I tend to overspray and this it does have a far outreach. Lasting power isn't the greatest on skin but on clothes it's decent.

Smooth dark coffee, faint cocoa, no bitterness, and not sweet. It does feel exactly like enjoying a warm coffee in winter. A skin scent, unfortunately very poor longevity.

This isn't a bad perfume by any means but, after trying this on two separate occasions, it's pretty linear and I didn't pick up on any coffee (which is very important to me lol). At first spray, I got the bergamot and nutmeg along with a general woodsy and earthy accord, as well as an almost grassy note that I assume is the vetiver. There was a subtle warm spice that I attribute mainly to the nutmeg because, though I suppose some coffee could have been involved, it was lacking that acidic undertone that reads coffee. It also had a somewhat 'masculine' and marine scent from the aforementioned combination of notes that was interesting and unexpected. It remained this way for the entirety of the wear. I couldn't distinguish any particular cocoa or vanilla notes when I wore this either, so I didn't get the gourmand vibe that the notes appear to present. The sillage is pretty intimate but, on the plus side, it lasted for over ten hours on me both times I tested it. Overall, this is a good summer-y and relatively 'masc' perfume on me that has outstanding longevity. Definitely a perfume worth sampling before committing to a full bottle since it can be less gourmand and more fresh on some (me).

The top notes have a rather watery coffee scent, which gradually transitions into a chocolate aroma with a slight sweetness and richness. Over time, it transforms into an aquatic chocolate scent. In the end, the coffee note completely fades, leaving only the aquatic aroma.

This is a light coffee scent that is creamy, nutty, semi-sweet, and powdery. If you are looking for a deep & dark-roasted scent then this is not the one. I pick up on more of a milky and chocolatey note, and the brand's product description affirms this as an intentional choice. The nutmeg and array of woods contribute to a cozy and cold weather scent association. One Day's beverage-y releases (specifically Seoul & Taipei) are playful forays into the gourmand category that retain a crafty sense of individuality. They are not literal interpretations of the thing itself nor are they basic Sephora/ dept. store sugar bombs.

I might sound insane but to me this is an aquatic with iced instant coffee opening. Like taking Acqua di Gio but replacing its topnotes with a watery icy instant coffee (the kind that leaves a sour after taste in your mouth) smell. After a while the coffee smell vanishes and you're left with the stale citrus smell of AdG when it dries down with a very faint creaminess. Very odd but not in a good way.

This is so cool, it smells like a perfect mature, but not old lady smelling scent. Mysterious to the nose, but grounding- perfect for office/day time wear. Could work well for night in theory too- but, in a calm, late night glass of red wine way. Perfect amount of sweetness, very subtle and complex.

Im sorry this is exactly like a tootsie roll. Like they liquified a tootsie roll diluted it with alcohol and bottled it

A soft coffee scent and lingers around you.. Comfy and soft, like Seoul in winter!
