Our Moment

I remember when this was first released me and all my friends going in the shops literally dousing ourselves in the testers of this. The whole advertisements and campaigns for this had the boys faces everywhere and the perfume sold like hot cakes. I loved the ad where the boys had all the individual notes of the perfumes while ‘favourite things’ was playing. Over the years I’ve gone through about 5 100ml bottles of this as it’s just such a nice fresh everyday perfume, carefree and you don’t have to think to much about wearing this. It starts out with a blast of summer berries and grapefruit and then the berries tone down but stay with you for the rest of the ride. The creamy flowers come through it’s a light frangipani and jasmine so soft and sweet. The base is a very faint sweet patchouli and a pink sugary musk. The lasting power is about 6 hours and it projects quite well, people seem to ask when I’m wearing this what it is. I don’t get the comparisons to Ariana’s Ari as that is heavy on the powder and artificial marshmallow which can be a bit much at times. All in all this a affordable fresh and sweet perfume. I know the older generations might not appreciate this but when this first came out everyone in my school was wearing this lol.

When this came out I was a child a friend got this perfume as a gift. It was one of the first scents that opened my eyes to fragrance and made me go WOW smells like that can exist😱😂. Therefore it does have some sentimental value for me as one I’d smell again and again whenever I was at her house. But I was able to get my hands on it again and it’s so fun for the nostalgia of it. When I first bought Ari, my first reaction to that fragrance was ‘oh wow, it reminds me of that one direction perfume from years ago’ which is why I went on the hunt to get my hands on this one for myself. It’s fun, it’s girly, but I wouldn’t call it generic. Sure the scent profile is, but the individual scent is not one I’d smelt again before Ari and is not one I’ve been able to smell again since (bar Ari again). If you can get this for an affordable price, I would because it’s so fun and nostalgic and a joy to smell every time I’m in my collection 😁

i dont understand why this perfume has so many negative reviews! it's brilliant! however i do believe it is one of those perfumes that takes time to grow on you. at first i liked it. i liked it enough to buy it actually but once i began to wear it more and more i fell head over heals for it! the bottle is beautiful and the scent isnt too strong or too weak. i dont see why people think it's extremely sweet. yes it is sweet but not as sweet as perumes like someday by jb, pink sugar, or really any of britney spears' perfumes. i have a feeling more people are judging it based on who it is by and not what it actually smells like. anyway i think it smells beautiful and i always feel so great when i wear this. if the boys make any more perfumes i cant wait to try them out but for now this one is absolutely a hit in my books

When I saw this fragrance and notes at first (as a huge fan of them), I expected a really fruity, very yummy scent in a sweet way, and "lots-of-flavor" frag from them. But when my classmate brought this one last week, I only smelled berries,freesia,musk (musk was like so intense), and a hint of caramel in it. The patchouli was there and it was great but,after spraying it, it fades away instantly. I thought it will be added to my fave fragrances list, but I'm between love and like because I never stopped sniffing it after spraying. For the bottle, so pretty! the asymmetrical edges with some princess aura on it made me still want it for some reasons. :) P.S. I don't smell any of the grapefruit and woods and Our Moment is just a simple fragrance that you could use everyday. That's all.

This is the perfect "sweater weather" scent. I usually wear it on cloudy/overcast days or just chilly days where you want to stay wrapped up in a blanket all day. The bottle is so cute too. Smell wise, it's very nice. It smells like rose petals and sugar and vanilla and its sweet flowery.it is also one of the most musky scents I've ever smelled. I'm not even sure if there's musk in this lol. Its a very girly playful scent but can be classy. 10/10 from me! Also the videos the boys put out for this fragrance (they can be found by the pictures of the fragrance at the top) are very cute and it advertises the fragrance perfectly! It's very sweet but not too sweet, and is also shy and subtle, you don't have to worry about it being all in your face offensive. Great job boys!

I found Our Moment to be very soft and girly, the smell is faint and doesn't really last particularly long but it's pleasant and unoffending. It's quite sharp when you first spray it but after a few minutes settles into a beautiful, almost powdery smell that's a mix of berries and woods with the faintest citrus note. I'll probably use this as an everyday perfume for work though I'm a little disappointed that the smell didn't last as long as Britney's Fantasy. The bottle is cute and whimsical though I found the lid needs to be wiggled to get it back on properly. It's aimed at a young demographic of fans but also older girls who like cute things At 26 I'm not a fan of one direction though I do like the occasional song, but I do like this perfume.

It's crazy this perfume has so many negative reviews due to longevity because it last forever on me. I think it's one of those scents that you can't smell on yourself but other people can because I always get compliments when I where it. Honesty, I think anything with patchouli is pretty long lasting. Anyway I am 30 and I would call this my signature and kit be ashamed I prefer LVEB but I usually get a full tester of this online because if you constantly re order you have a extra lid or two lying around, plus when I get new bottled I morally have to spray a couple times then let it sit a week and go back to it seems to make it better for some reason. I originally fell in love with this perfume in the winter but it works well in summer too.

I think people are way to judgmental because of the fact that it is One Direction.If people didn't know it was from them I feel the polls might be slightly less biased. I like the perfume. Its refreshing and its not overbearing. I went in to smell it thinking it would be bad because it was from One Direction and was actually shocked to like it. So I bought it. It lasts all day while at work and its not too much to where people around me are overwhelmed. Yes it is sweet so if you are not into the sweeter scents this probably isn't for you. I personally like the sweet/fruity/citrus scents over flower or musky smells. So this was perfect for me. I'd defiantly buy another bottle in the future.

My first perfume! I wish I could wear this again and relive those carefree days. I remember feeling so grown up wearing this, all of my friend’s at school getting the same gift set for Christmas that year. We were just girls. I know I still have a bottle of this somewhere, I wish I knew where. I remember it being floral and fruity, a more juvenile version of Miss Dior Parfum. Maybe that’s why Miss Dior Parfum is my favourite perfume now as an adult. My memories of this perfume become more bittersweet as the years go on, especially now with the death of Liam, those carefree days when this scent flooded the school corridors and classrooms are long gone.

Not a huge fan of One Direction, but don't have anything against them either. When this fragrance first came out it received so much hype (as expected), and I of course thought it wouldn't be worth it. But today I was at Sephora just browsing scents when I saw the huge 1D display that couldn't be missed if you had your eyes closed. So of course wanting to prove myself right, I smelt it, figuring I wouldn't like it. But I was extremely surprised when I got very creamy floral notes and sweet sugary notes. This perfume is heavenly! As embarrassing as it was I picked myself up a bottle and haven't been able to stop sniffing it since! Definitely recommend!

I have to laugh at people who give negative reviews on this fragrance simply because "they are not a fan of boy bands." I am here to say that this is one of the most beautiful perfumes I have ever owned. I am constantly receiving compliments from men AND women when I wear this out, whether in public, or at work.. ect. It's happy, floral, and sweet. When I'm wearing Our Moment, co-workers are always telling me "You always smell wonderful." Not to mention the bottle is gorgeous. I am in my twenties and I happily call this my signature scent. This will always have a place in my collection. Well done, One Direction. 10/10

This would probably surprise a lot of people by how good it smells. Sure it doesn’t reinvent the wheel but it’s really good and has an addictive quality about it. To me it smell extremely similar to Ari so if you want a kick of nostalgia for this fragrance and can’t get your hands on this, get Ari and you’ll probably be satisfied. It’s one of those scents I find hard to describe but this is one of my first scent memories, just being amazed by how something could smell so incredible. Don’t overpay for this when you can get Ari, but I’d love to smell it again... it’s so so good😋

So I love one direction, but putting my bias aside for a moment, I have to say I was the tiniest bit let down by this fragrance. I like it, I do, it smells nice, but I guess the commercial just made it look so much nicer than it was. I had wished that it was a little sweeter I think, I got more of a sour musky with berries vibe from it. I was hoping it was gonna be a little more sweet berries. Again, good fragrance, love the boys with all my heart, but I was a little bit let down, I hope they make another, better smelling one :(

Growing up this perfume was perfect, fruity and sweet without being too juvenille. I wouldn't repurchase as I have found scents similar and this has been discontinued but every once while it was nice to spray on a pillow or something just for the nostalgia. Unfortunately the bottles that are still out there are all getting close to being expired and after spritzing mine last night it's definitely time to part ways with this scent

I am a HUGE One Direction fan and to be honest, I wasn't at all looking forward to the release of this perfume. I thought it would just be another chance to advertise and get publicity. But, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it in the stores and tested it. This perfume is lovely, light and floral. Perfect to wear in summer during the day. Well done boys, you've really surprised me with this amazing scent :)

This smell is the essence of high school. I remember being able to recognize it on some of my friends and asking them if they were wearing Our Time lol. Love this scent and went through a whole bottle of it! Will probably buy again in the distant future, and I think that this could also be a good gift! I would recommend this to anyone who loves sickly sweetness with vanilla and a little almond like me.

I found that Our Moment by One Direction was VERY fun and girly to wear!! I love the sweet fruitiness smell of it and the adorable bottle. I love this and I can't believe that someone said that this smells cheap. I don't think so at all. It's fun, cute, girly, fruity. It's just what I like. It's not overpowering and lasts long. It's vey light and subtle.

This is the only perfume that I have purchased again and again. It’s been in my collection from the time it was released and remains one of my favourite scents. Wearing it now brings bittersweet feelings, reminiscing those special years of my life from 2010-2015, all while missing Liam. This is my holy water that I will forever love and cherish.

this has such a lovely fruity smell to it!! very sweet, but not overwhelming either. i dont wear this too often because its discontinued and i know i can never find it again :( but everytime i wear this, it lasts super long! i remember still being able to smell the perfume on my skin and clothes after being outside in the heat for 10 hours

Can't figure out why anyone who enjoys perfume would find this offensive. Perhaps the negative reviews imply, "I don't like the celebrity so I refuse to support any product they produce!". If the combination of powdery, fruity, and floral is to your taste; you'll find this fragrance to be heavenly.

It's okay. It's a nice, fun fragrance, really sweet and clean. This fragrance smells like a younger and sweeter version of Fancy by Jessica Simpson. I smell that slice of lemon, and spice. It's not a very loud fragrance, it's simple. Like a British person.

Bought when I was obsessed with One Direction on a blind buy. It turned into one of my favorites and I still love it. A playful perfume great for warm weather with a perfect blend of fruity, woody and not too sweet. Youthful but not childish.

My gf gave this to me coz she said she love the smell of this on me. I have no objection but kinda like it. Mix well with my sweat after workin out at the gym....its awkward but it smells good and turned on my gf. Lol :))

I still wear this as an adult and get compliments from other adults. Similar to Ariana Grande's Cloud, everyone loves this fragrance until I name the affiliated celebrity/celebrities. It is boldly feminine and fun.

When I first tried this out in the store it lasted for a long time on my wrist. Now, about a year later something has changed and it doesn't last at all. About 1 hour or so. Too bad because I love it. :(

Why a lot of people dislike it? Its smells so nice,special and magical. I also think its just for teenagers and kids. This is a cute sweet candy floral smell you imagine Barbie doll would wear.lol

I absolutely love this perfume it's very light and fresh it may not last very long but I fell in love with it the first time I smelt it. I will never regret buying this perfume. :)

The first time i test it, I fell in love. It made me think of a cheap version of Midnight Romance by Ralph Lauren. Not bad at all. But yeah longevity is bad. id say 2-3 hours max.

This used to be my signature! The perfect mix of fruity and floral. Its longevity was really impressive I remember. Reminds me of being a teenager.

Now that Liam is gone, I feel like I really want to smell that fragrance, maybe then I will feel like I'm hugging him 💔🕊

At first spray, Our Moment is an INCREDIBLY sweet soapy grapefruit. The sweetness calms down quickly, but it still has this soapiness to it that makes me think of Bath & Body Works hand soap; not bad, but not a scent you really need perfume to achieve. After about ten minutes, it turns into this generically fruity-sweet scent that makes me thinking of shopping in the little girls' section of Mervyn's as a kid. You know how things aimed toward girls 7-12 years old (like little play lipsticks and perfumes) all have that same sort of harmlessly sweet scent to them? That's what Our Moment smells like to me, from the ten minute mark until it fades away. Some florals manage to peek out about thirty minutes in, and after around an hour something like vanilla makes it all a touch creamier, but it keeps that toy-makeup-palette smell the whole time. And for the record, the 'whole time' amounts to roughly two hours; not to be catty, but I'm pretty sure the smell of B&BW hand sanitizer sticks around longer than that. All in all, it's not an impressive scent AT ALL, but it's not awful. They're pretty obviously aiming towards the youngest possible target market based on the bottle alone; if not actually girls who are 7-12 years old, certainly not anyone much older, which makes the poor wear-time and generic scent entirely forgivable. This is the perfume for a young girl who wants to wear perfume just for the sake of wearing it. Inoffensive and uninvasive are the most you're asking for. I'm actually a little disappointed, not because it's such an obvious grab for our wallets, but because it's such a poorly thought-out attempt at grabbing for our wallets. My impression of One Direction fans has been less prepubescent girls and closer to the age range of late teens to early/late twenties (and I'll less than enthusiastically include myself in that range), and there are SO many other gimmicks that would have had fans just flinging their money at these boys. Like, seriously, I'm still not entirely convinced that this isn't just some kind of elaborate joke. Then again, I'm talking about a bunch of twenty-year-old dudes who are writing songs about jizz and making more money than most of us will ever even think about in our lives: everything here is a joke. Anyways, Our Moment is not AWFUL, but there are so many better fragrances out there that the only possible reason you could have for buying this is if you've got a loved one who's a fan of One Direction and you're willing to drop sixty bucks to make them very happy (or just make them laugh until they cry).

It's a good cheap scent. Great for teens. I'm a teen and I don't want to spend too much money on perfume right now so I use this, and it's pretty good. I'd describe it as the smell of middle school, I remember every girl was wearing this then, in 2013-2016. I don't get why people complain that a cheap perfume "smells cheap", you get what you paid for. If someone sells you this for above 20$ it's a ripoff, it's usually 16-20$ max. It's fun, soft, girly, delicate and breezy. It's a celebrity eau de parfum, I don't get why people are taking it so seriously. It's for teenage girls, so don't be surprised if it smells like flowers and fruits. I think it's a great deal tbh, and it smells amazing to me atleast. It's not as fruity as you may think, I'd say it's blended quite well. All the ingredients are in the advert anyways, but it's a fine mix of jasmine and berries mostly. Enjoy it if you're young like me, no need to splurge on perfume until you make your own income :) When I can, I'll buy chanel or Dior, but I'm fine with this for now

This fragrance is honestly not bad - safe and a good gift for a blind buy. It's a fruity floral that suits teenage girls. I remember when this fragrance was first released when I was 14 and it was a tad expensive so I never bought it until years later. I loved the scent at the time so I would go to the chemist after school just to try this on and marvel at the fruitiness! Now that I'm 21, my tastes have changed and I no longer think that this fragrance is the best thing in the world. There really is nothing mindblowing or complex about it. It's also very cheap at the moment (I remember getting my 30 mL for $10 a few years back when I was still in high school - maybe around grade 10?). It's not something I reach for a lot now though so the bottle has lasted me for a few years. The longevity and Sillage is good for its price and it lasts around 5 hours on my skin.

Don't judge a book by it's cover, and don't judge a perfume by it's bottle, or indeed the boy band behind it. I first smelt this on my co-worker, and thought she was wearing Britney Spears' Midnight Fantasy. When she told me it was One Direction I was surprised how lovely it smelt, and when I found it on offer on Amazon I treated myself to the 100ml bottle. It still reminds me a little of Midnight Fantasy, sweet, but unique and delicious, maybe even a little seductive. It smells of soft, gentle fruits, musks and florals, with a hint of something a little spicy which gives it a lovely unique edge. It also lasts a long time without being overpowering or sickly. The only thing I don't like is the bottle, which is too fiddly and looks like a tacky Disney princess accessory, but like I said, don't judge it on the bottle, the fragrance inside is beautiful.

I was testing some perfumes and I decided to test this one too, even though I'm not a fan of celebrity perfumes. And I loved it. I'm not a fan of One Direction and I don't hate them either, as I don't know anything about them, as in...I literally am not familiar with their music. All I know is they're a boy band. I was embarassed to purchase this perfume as I'm a 33 year old woman, but I did it anyway cause I loved it that much. It's kind of sweet, but not sickening, smells like berries. Reminds me A LOT of Kylie Minogue 'Showtime'. IT should've been called 'one dimension' since it's got no dimension, there's no top, middle or base notes, just berries all around. But I love it anyway. Problem is after you spray it, it only lasts for like 5 minutes. I have to sniff my wrist to smell it. And it's weird since it's an EDP not an EDT.

I really like this one. I liked it from the first time I ever smelled it. It starts off fruity sugary & candy sweet but very creamy. I don't mind as I really like gourmands. As it develops however, you can start smelling the florals. There is a ton of frangipani in this scent. That's the main floral I smell. As it dries down even more you can smell the sour side to the scent. Not in a bad way! It's very nice and the patchoulli acts like the missing vanilla in this scent. It balances out the base. I really like this fragrance. It might be generic to some, but for what it is it's really not that bad. If there was a reason I wouldn't like it, it would be the frangipani as I really don't like frangipani but even then this is a great smelling perfume. I only wish the sillage was a bit stronger.

I got this as a gift last Christmas and have been on and off it for some time. The bottle is very pretty. I understand that their demographic is probably pre-teens/teenage girls so it has to appeal to them, but the little tulle detail is charming and the bottle is actually quite elegant. I really like it and it sits lovely on my vanity. The juice inside is sweet, inoffensive, light and girlie. It's not outstanding to me, and I don't reach for it very often, but when I do, I think “oh, this smells nice, I should wear this more often” but for some reason, I never do! It's quite a fresh perfume too, so if you needed a burst of energy, this should get you going in the morning! I'll happily use the remainders of my bottle up, but I wont buy again, if that makes any sense?

A while ago, I received several samples of this fragrance from an online perfume shop. I somehow never found the right occasion to wear them, until I happened to attend Louis Tomlinson’s Faith in the Future world tour. Our Moment is a carefree fruity floral fragrance. The note that I perceive to be the most prominent one is freesia, followed by a sweet muskiness. I think that this scent is easy to wear and that it hardly offends anyone. The only downside is its performance that is just not representative of an EdP: after around 15 minutes, the fragrance has become a skin scent and the sillage is minimal. I had to reapply the fragrance so many times that I used up around 4 samples within one day.

This perfume is sweet, and feminine. It's not an in-your-face type of scent. I originally received a bottle of this perfume last Christmas, when I was a bit boy band obsessed. Now that I am not, I can give an unbiased review. At first I could not smell any citrus. It was very flowery, fluffy, and powdery, but not in an overbearing sort of way. It dried very quickly, to a sugary smell. It was sort of flat; the scent itself was fine, a little too sweet but fine. But that was all there was. Kind of a generic celebrity fragrance. There just wasn't much to it. It's good for teen girls looking for a nice and simple floral perfume with an attractive boy band's name attached to it.

I received this today and I must say I really like it. I'm outside the target market for this fragrance but that doesn't really bother me. There is nothing particularly ground-breaking about Our Moment, but it is a nice and light perfume that can be used for daily wear. It reminds me alot of Daisy Eau so Fresh, it has the same fruity vibe to it. I smell alot of the grapefruit, berries and woodsy notes. I will be using this in heavy rotation once spring time comes along, but once I run out I probably won't repurchase. If you can deal with this being a celebrity fragrance (I admittedly love 1D,) then I think Our Moment could be a cheaper alternative to Daisy Eau So Fresh.

I love the nostalgia of this scent! I bought a bottle for a friend with the Our Moment lotion. I sprayed it on myself to make sure it wasn't fake - smelled how I remembered it on my clothes, but it didn't amaze me when on my skin. It's very sweet and inoffensive, definitely brings back all the happy memories from simpler times. If you like Aquolina Pink Sugar (which my friend does) or Between Us by One Direction (which my friend adores), I think you will love this perfume like my friend does too! But mainly the appeal of this perfume for both my friend and I is the emotional connection and the memories that it stirs up.
