Catharsis could be painfull: the purification after discomfort. This perfume has nothing to do with hard times. There is a bliss from the first moment... It is perfect balance of sweet feminine notes and heavier, more masculine ones. I love the contrast between leather, tobacco and oud at one side and roses and creamy sandalwood at second. All touched by velvet musk and amber. The composition is almost caramel to me but without sticky sugery akcent. It is sensual, but not disturbing. There is a calm confidence in this scent. It is brave, with spectacular developement to the pure joy. --- Projection is quite strong, nice longevity (6-7 hrs). Winter season suits the best, I suposse.

This one is really not for me, it has all the notes I usually have issues with: rose, oud, tobacco, leather, musk... Sometimes I do find a perfume that can nicely blend one of these so that it doesn't bother me, but poor Katarzist didn't have too much chance with this combination. I smell something sour in it too or something medicinal, but couldn't pinpoint what that could be.

A bit boring tbh. I had big expectations from this one. Good pricing so I would recommend to at least test it out.

Smells similar to TF Oud Wood or MFK Oud up close. But in the air the scent feels more "open", you can smell the spicy notes and it reminds me of Bvlgari Man In Black. The rose is not as prominent as in some other oud + rose fragrances so this makes it pretty safe for a man too. It smells competently made and well blended but you aren't going to be blown out of your mind if you smelled any nice-adjacent oud fragrance. It costs 150€ for a 50ml but they also sell a 10 ml spray mini-bottlle for 46€ if you are curious but don't want to spend that much money on an oud frag that you might not wear daily.
