Salted Muse

This is a perfume that will have a different "feeling" and overall projection of scent depending on your skin's chemistry and your essence. Don't smell it in the cap, don't spray it on a strip. Spray it on your clothing and your wrist and do something else for a while. Warm up in the sunlight for a different perspective. Take a few minutes for it to mingle with you before you decide whether or not you want to walk away from it. Salted Muse is objectively unisex in its scent; There's something about it that balances masculinity and femininity well. It works very well on me as a tomboy with long hair, possessing something almost sultry and wanting but concealed by nicety with a outdoorsy playfulness. I don't get as much for woody notes for a majority of the wear. While I do get a nice basis of a dry, rough sandalwood in the beginning, I primarily smell oceanic, "hyaluronic" salt with olive and lavender. I think the pink pepper- a note I have in an oil-based fragrance not listed here, "Nefertiti" from House of Nisa in which the note does similar- and fig keep it bright and forward. Imagine "AEGEAN BEACH" or "SHORESIDE BONFIRE". After the scent wears off, approximately seven or so hours later, I smell primarily sandalwood and cedar in my clothes. Salt and olive oil is still something that I can weakly envision being massaged into my skin for an exfoliating pedicure at a comfortable spa at this point. It's a very seriously sensual combination that's hard to explain. Fleeting and close. Imagine "SPRUCE SAUNA". I love to generously mist my clothing and bedding with it. It's a scent I cannot get enough of. I'm sad when I can sense it leaving. It layers well with the Hempz Triple Moisture lotion if you would appreciate a tropical and fresh dimension to the salty goodness. It makes for a slightly more feminine suggestion. Salted Muse is suitable for daytime or eveningtime wear. ☼ I would argue that basking in sunlight brings out the "fresher" notes of lavender, salt, and olive with a charming vivacity. Imagine "SEAGLASS". ☾ Lack of heat or sunlight brings less emphasis on these notes and makes way for a "broader" and more masculine all-encompassing woodiness faster. Salt is still present. Imagine "DRIFTWOOD". Unbelievably inspiring. I've written fifteen pages and approaching 4,000 words of fantasy lore almost entirely based on the imagery and noetic sensations Salted Muse anoints me with. I never sat down to write a word of it without a healthy dousing of this fragrance and a cup of mint tea. I disagree with the impressions of pickles, fish, burnt hair, etc. This may be due to skin differences. Do not be so concerned with "spoilage" at the notation of oil. Cosmetic chemistry is not so terribly jet-lagged. I'm prone to epileptic symptoms from migraines and this fragrance does not trigger them. I agree that it can smell like a tea shop, a spa, a mojito, or a margarita. A sexy, salted- or sweet- rim with indulgent and herbal contents that you want to drink to savor. If I had to prescribe sound to this scent, it would be two songs: "La petite fille de la mer" & "Le singe bleu" off of the L'apocalypse des animaux by Vangelis, in that order. Representative of initial spray(s) to drydown, respectively.

the day I got this, I had initially gone to ulta to reacquaint myself with burberry her. I found myself missing it and wanted to throw another fragrance I was intimately familiar with into my rotation to cut down on how quickly I went through the financial nightmare that is br540. I bought it, and on my way out, noticed the orebella display I had missed on the way in. salted muse was already on my radar since I LOVE a salty note, so I ofc tried it. I sprayed it on a tissue and took it with me. I’m not kidding when I say about 5 minutes into my drive home I flipped a uey, went back to ulta, and returned the purse spray of her I had just purchased and bought a full size of salted muse instead. It was so salty, earthy, and marine that I was instantly captivated. those cold ocean perfumes are like catnip to me—even though they aren’t necessarily similar in smell, it’s the same reason I love womanity. I do get pickles in the opening! if you’re not a big fan of that phenomenon, this is not the blind buy for you. I personally don't mind it—I’m pretty well-acquainted with a handful of the le labo fragrances that start out in pickle city. on my skin, it diminishes as soon as it dries down and that delicious salt and pepper wrapped in wood and earth comes through. this is not a sweet perfume at all to my nose, and I think the use of notes that pull more herbal than sweet, like the olive and lavender, is what really makes this fragrance an interesting stand-out. sweet perfumes can become so one-note so fast, but this is astonishingly dynamic for a mainstream release, let alone a celebrity one. I love that this is marketed as a women’s fragrance, because the cedar and amber become quite stereotypically masculine deep into wear. I like wearing cologne, so I personally love this facet of it, but if you’re not a big fan of masculine fragrances, I don’t believe this will be your favorite. but that wood and late-game warmth really grounds this and makes it feel alive—the opening is skinny dipping in a frigid PNW beach, cold air and gruff salt whipped into your skin and your hair, but the dry down is after you’ve stepped out of the waves and caught your breath, laying down to let the sun dry you as the scent of the surrounding forests envelops you. the price point on this also seems pretty damn good as compared to other high end perfumes. you’re getting around the same out of a bottle of this as you would for 100-200+ from brands that are frankly putting out much less interesting and multifaceted stuff. this one definitely won’t be for everyone, but what memorable perfume is?

The next morning you steal his tee shirt and from then on it smells like most intoxicating smell, even though you know to someone else it might not. Weeks later you taste the salt in your tears after long conversations of sharing stories about the journey of your lives, you’re obsessed, in love. The shape of their back, the sarcastic grin. They are your muse. Years later you laugh until midnight playing chess on a sheep skin rug in front of a fire in a cabin. On your road trip you argue, make up and find heartfelt moments watching the sunset on crisp northern CA beaches. You can taste the salt on their skin and smell the redwoods and cedar trees flanking the beach. Salted muse is a perfect name for this lover’s fragrance. It’s not the deep florals, or tropical vacation and fancy dinners love story, but the raw real muse journey. It’s passion, cooking together, wandering together and enjoying the grit in the journey. I smelled this at the store, and thought about it for a month until I decided to try it on my skin. I was cynical as it is a celebrity fragrance of which I typically don’t enjoy. Opens salty sea air, pink pepper, Himalayan sea salt and olive accord. First dry down is briny opening , olive leaf, cedar and lavender. An hour later a more sandalwood, lavender, vetiver and deeper floral/sweet fig accord lingers with a hint of the sea salt. I love that it’s based in alcohol free composition, you don’t get that astringent essence upon first spay. It is slightly oily which I don’t mind at all. I compared the dry down next to my Santal 33 because it does end in a santal-esque way but it is different. More vetiver, olive oil, sea salt and lavender lingering. This may be a polarizing scent, it is unisex and some may find that briny pickle smell, like a high end charcuterie spot. This fragrance is mesmerizing to me and it brings up so many feelings and memories. One of the most interesting and unique scents I’ve experienced in a while. Just ordered the large bottle. 10/10

When I initially smelled this fragrance, it transported me to a fancy hotel suite bathroom, unwrapping an olive oil and lavender-infused miniature soap bar left in the complimentary soap dish by the staff. Then the salt immerges. Not a warm, tropical beach island ocean salt, but an early autumn North Sea brine. It's rather soothing and spa-like; refreshingly unique and unisex compared to typical female celebrity fragrances that are mass-marketable sweetness-bombs. It maintains the cooling freshness of a summer fragrance but is softened around the edges with the cozy woodsy amber note that becomes more alluring in the dry-down—nice throw and staying power for the price. Something about it is truly a muse, something mysterious yet inviting, down-to-earth yet out of reach, rare yet familiar, hot yet cold. Let's talk pickles. Honestly, it was not my experience, but after seeing so many people say it is a bit pickle-esque, you can't help but notice it afterward. It's really not an overt pickle smell to me, just salty, there's no sour or vinegar qualities like a jar of pickles. I believe it is balanced well with the lavender, cedar, and amber, the sweet earthiness adds harmony to the otherwise rogue salt variable. So I asked my boyfriend, friends, and family whether I smelled like pickles to put this to the test. I got the same reaction from every person: a confused look as they whiffed my wrist and a shake of the head, "No, you don't smell like pickles," many then asked what fragrance I was wearing. So if this fragrance is giving pickle, it is undoubtedly the fanciest and sexiest pickle from the jar that has a rather intensive but therapeutic self-care regimen.

The most dreamy and perfect marine woody scent ! 10/10 Another masterpiece by Orebella. Ointment of the Sea. This is spectacular on a man, i feel it more masculine for sure. Perfect gift for your boyfriend, dad, brother, gay best friend. The man that wears it it's a dreamer, with a heart full of love for adventure and wonder. A modern sailor. He has a beautiful leather cover journal where he takes notes and sketches when he travels the world or just goes out for a walk. He may live in the city, but his heart expands near the sea, his hair are like the waves, the fall so perfect so effortlessly. He's calm and sweet, strong and creative. A free spirit at heart. The woman who wears this was once a mermaid, or the soulmate of the sailor above. She sings with the wind, observes birds and flowers. She is wild and untamable. Gorgeous. People need to understand these are oil based perfumes, must be shaken before use, and it's moisturizing oils will penetrate the skin so deeply, they become part of you. They are all free of the bad chemicals that disrupt your hormones and health, and they nourish your skin. For something "this clean" as a brand, it's astonishing how they smell better then regular, famous and super expensive " synthetic" traditional Perfumes. Don't even get me started on the bottles, reusable and to collect. They are heavy, like treasures. This one is truly a sea shell crystal found at the bottom of Atlantis , forget by Poseidon himself. Orebella blew my mind LOVE ! 10/10 LOVE will always re-purchase, i am a lifelong customer now

I was utterly disgusted at this scent when I first smelled it . I put the tester strip in my pocket and this fragrance was so loud that I really had no choice but to let my nose get used to it. In fact, it took me a while to realize this was salted Muse. Because again in the store I was disgusted by it. And I actually gave myself about a year before I even bought the travel size because I was so unsure about this scent. But I couldn't stop thinking about it. So eventually I did get the travel size. And again I was wearing it. But wasn't sure if I wanted to commit to a full bottle. Because it was just odd to me. Fast forward. I finally purchased the full bottle. I absolutely love this fragrance. After 2 years of testing it out. I wish there was a shower gel. I wish there was a shampoo to match. This fragrance does not give me headaches, it's so salty. I love it. The presentation and the bottle is just gorgeous. I can't stop spraying it non-stop. I dream about this fragrance. Top five in my over 100 collection. It makes me feel very earthy. Even though this is a marine scent. Earthy in a way of being one with nature. Or of course one with the ocean. I wish it lasted longer. I can't say that it doesn't last long at all. I just love it so much that I hate that it's not an 8 hour or more fragrance for me. I wish I didn't have to reapply. Every 5 hours. But I think that's also pretty decent. I wouldn't mind respraying my travel. But I already bought the full bottle which is beautiful but heavy. Don't forget to shake!.

Lives up to its name. I first tried it at ulta among the other Orabella fragrances. Having not read any reviews beforehand I had no expectations, but this one still surprised me in the most positive way. I'm usually more gourmand, sweet, floral kind of girl, so checking the notes didn't fill me with hope. The opening was quite salty, woody and aquatic, but given it a few minutes it became more creamy and musky, inviting you into the fairytale. Walking through the store aisles I couldn't stop thinking about it and decided to spray it on my wrists to wear it for the day. It was pretty hot and humid and I must admit this kind of weather works for the advantage of the fragrance, it evaporates slowly giving you small reminders of itself throughout the day. It's the dry down that is so intriguing to me, I just couldn't stop sniffing my wrists every now and then. Usually I'd give myself more time before a purchase, but with this one I acted quickly and have no regrets. It became one of my favourite summer scents, makes me feel like I'm constantly on a dreamy beach vacation. What I like to do the most is spraying it once at the back of my head, it stays there for the longest, even after two days I can still smell it with hair movement.

immediately hooked. it's got a sweetness, but the complexity from the olive and pink pepper give the opening a multidimensional feel. on paper or cloth, i think this scent retains a very airy and herbaceous temperament. on my skin, it mixes with my BO and brings out some of the muskier and woodier elements. i don't really smell the "pickle" notes -- the saltiness is present but not intrusive. over the course of a few hours, the perfume dries and begins to smell cohesive, like one vision. i see a rocky seaside beach, and each inhale feels fresh and fragrant. as time passes the scent becomes more powdery, and lavender and fig become dominant. it's still balanced well with the salt and wood, but much lighter. i would say this perfume is androgynous, more masculine in the beginning and feminine towards the end. downsides: the sillage is very intimate and the longetivity is average, the oil formula is nice but seems to deplete quickly. i'd sell my kidney for a version of this perfume that's much stronger. i want to be able to smell this on my skin a week after i put it on. but i put a bunch of this on my keffiyeh before leaving ulta, and it's still quite aromatic on cloth days later.

Amazing stuff, I was in awe by the scents from Orebella. It may target mainstreamed audiences and doesn’t smell very original but their scents are surprisingly well-designed and smell a level above designer’s. Their thick texture formula gives the scent an ‘extrait’/‘high oil concentration’ luxurious density that I feel with something like Amouage Exceptional Extraits though not as complex. Salted Muse opens with fresh, salty, pickled woody lavender. It soon settles down and less of that pickled-like faucet in your face. It becomes a fresh light salty herbal woody skin scent, that is very calming. It is the most masculine-leaning of all Orebella’s collection, and so I picked up a 100ml bottle. I think it would be perfectly very refreshing applying this in the summer, when going to the beach, or post fresh-water showered at the beach. It also is very moisturizing with no burning alcohol. While this reminded me a bit of Santal 33 with the pickled woodiness, Eternal Root has a sweet berry+balsamic birch wood composition of Nasamatto Terroni. Window2Soul is a creamier version of Chanel 5 Eau Premiere, and Nightcap has a very delicious malted chocolate vanilla kind of vibe.

I was so worried about this one based on the reviews, especially after hearing that people are smelling something fishy. But after having smelled it, I feel like everyone is wayyy over exaggerating about this scent. First off, it does have a masculine quality to it from how woody it is. I don’t get pickles or a fish smell. It instead smells fresh to me. It almost has an oud quality to it even though there is no oud in it. maybe similar to Santal 33 without the leather. Salted muse is far more wearable. It wears very soft, as if you’re smelling someone’s fragrance in passing; however, on first spray it smells very strong. I also think it smells like a perfume version of tiger balm (in the best way). There is a little bit of an olive quality in the back but I wouldn’t describe it as olive oil, more like olives on an olive tree. The olive translates as green on my skin and adds a bit of a Mediterranean character to it that I really enjoy. I think men would love this. I also think women who are accustomed to oud scents might like this (especially the oil ones) or women who enjoy androgynous fragrances. I love oil based ouds, so this one is an easy one to love

I finally got my hands on this and Nightcap in a duo travel set at Ulta for $49. I smelled this in a sleeve when it first came out in the Ulta magazine last year. I feel like it was much less sweet than I remember. I did not expect the scent to be extremely overpowering at first. You only need about 4 or 5 sprays. It's a milky oil texture on the skin and it develops and gets better over time. The lavender is a bit overwhelming in the beginning. I personally could not smell fig in the notes listed here. It's definitely a perfectly spicy marine scent. This is one of the strongest perfumes I own. It performs very well and I would definitely consider getting the full size because the bottle and golden stand it comes with are gorgeous. I think this is very unique and I don't know anything that smells like this. I think women and men can pull off this scent. I will definitely be trying more by this brand. To the people who think it smells like pickles... do you also think cilantro tastes like soap?

This one was my favorite on like my first initial spray and it develops really nicely. After giving the others some more time I’m not as sure it’s my favorite but it’s still really good For some reason it reminds me of middle/elementary school which are typically not periods associated with like good smells lol but it sort of reminds me of like sweat covered up by cheap cologne (and i mean that in the best way possible) or like getting ready to go to a restaurant after you’ve been at the beach all day.. really interesting one. It reminds me of a lot of those cheap mens “sport” fragrances i would smell/wear as a kid but a very grown version of that. The more i think about it the more i think it probably actually IS my fav of the three.. I don’t plan on getting it but i really appreciate them and I think they’re pretty different from a lot of other celebrity fragrance launches so i appreciate that as well. this is definitely in my opinion a really unisex/ even masculine fragrance

When i smelled this is the store i fell in love with the fresh salty air smell immediately and bought a travel size soon after online. I really love marine smells and the woodiness of this perfume is also a really lovely addition. it reminds me of a cool windy beach with crashing waves and driftwood on the shore. When the bottle arrived though, i wasn’t so sure about it the second time around! I really noticed the punch of brininess in the opening and understand why people were describing the scent as pickly. The sprayer is also somewhat defective, which is a nuisance. It definitely threw me off at first, but after wearing it a few more times the scent comes off to me as more ocean brine like, not pickles, and is much less intense as it dries down. It’s grown on me quite a bit and has even gotten a few compliments!! Very nice and unique fragrance, great if you like salty smells and good for layering too.

I bought this before reading any reviews and once I saw the pickle comparisons, I got scared and started asking everyone around me to smell me and tell me if I smelled like pickles every time I wore it. Not a single person thought I smelled like pickles (they picked up the lavender, the woodiness, the pepper). And it's not like they were just being nice, either. If I smelled like pickles my girls would tell me. If your girls aren't like that... get new girls, girl. Anyway I love this. I've never smelled anything like it. I feel like a siren on the rocks when I wear it--alluring, marine, earthy. Great in the heat, which I think is the case for all Orebella fragrances (yes, even the spicy one). No one is doing it like Miss Hadid. This is a far cry from any other celebrity fragrance--smells like something a chic, niche fragrance house would produce and your coolest friend would recommend to you.

This is absolutely incredible. Layer this with window2soul and I promise you, it’s the sweet, herbal flower garden of your lucid dreams. I love it. I can’t stop smelling my arm. This and W2S are tied for my fav. Blooming fire was... very basic to me. Not that it was bad, it smelled good! Just done many times before. I was also surprised how well these stick to the skin. This CAN lean slightly masculine, however, if you layer it like I did, it really just adds depth and dimension. This one is perfectly unisex to my nose, but still has a little sweetness to it. I really like it. I don’t know why people are saying it’s not good — just smell it for yourself. Edit: also, miss girl is made for humid, burning hot weather... she SHINES in the extreme heat! If you live in a really hot climate this will withstand it without becoming cloying or sour. It’s really amazing.

Despite being a self‐avowed celebrity perfume skeptic, I am genuinely obsessed with this one. It is a luxurious, calming unisex scent that still manages to feel sexy and a little mysterious on the skin. I do not get the “pickle” note some mention. Instead, it opens with a soft bloom of cedar and sandalwood that reminds me of lifting the lid on a beautifully maintained cedar chest. The dry down turns warm and subtly salty, and while the sillage stays intimate, the longevity is impressive, especially when I spray it on moisturized skin layered with a woody body oil. I do wish I could spray it on clothing for that extra staying power. On its own it is stunning, but because it wears close and leans deep, I have been enjoying layering it with brighter woody or aromatic scents. Heretic’s Rhubarb Thief adds a perfect zing that lifts the whole scent cloud.

Had a few minutes after work to stop by at Ulta to get my nose on some of the Fragrances I had been curious about. Tested Gucci gotgeous orchid, Daisy wild, Dylan Purple, Nest Indigo...all ok but rather generic. Then I got to this one ..I felt the heavens open above my head for a ahhhhhh sun shining moment...a scent of my dreams! Smells new signature scent worthy and just so me. I feel more unisex Fragrances suit me better and this one it that. My first thought was this is a better woodier Gris Charnel with that lovely to my nose pencil shaving smell as well as salt. I thought of the same fig as Gris Charnel but also thought of Terre d'Hermes, the same pencil shaving as that. I don't get dill at all. I am going to need to be breaking my "no buy" for this...hoping since it is oil it will last a long time. The bottle is stunning as well.

if you have to walk through the woods and hop over rocks to get to your local beach, salted muse is for you. i knew this would be my favorite of the launch. the opening is oceaninc but doesn't veer into your typical marine, which i appreciate. i'm surprised by how long the salt note lasts; it's been lingering for about 7 hours now (emphasis on lingering, not projecting. i would smell it a lot on my skin but not a noticeable sillage). imo salt notes + skin scents are such a great match. the fig transition into the woods reminds me a bit of Jazmin Sarai's Fayoum, but not for long. the drydown is a nice amber + wood, but i wish the middle notes lingered for longer as they're by far my favorite. overall though, this is a lovely, earthy blend that will be a summer go-to. if you want a saltier, muskier twist, layer with rook's rsx misk :)

Guy here, I smelled this from an Ulta sample thing that fell out of a catalog they sent... And instantly loved it. Thought it was pretty unisex. The concept is super cool too, having to shake to mix to get the full effect. The scents are very unique and they dry down to a complettttty different scent than when first sprayed. when first sprayed I can see how it can be a little polarizing of just yes or no.... But the moment you put it on and walk away from the area you sprayed it, I can guarantee you a compliment within an hour of being out and about. It dries down to such a lovely clean comforting scent. It's not super salty smelling as when first sprayed. The oils really change over time. That initial salty smell is really just the smell straight out of the atomizer and it becomes very faint and intertwined well.

I admit I didn't really care for this fragrance the first time I tried it--I used the tester at an Ulta and before I sprayed it, the sales attendant mentioned that she thought it smelled like pickles, so that's all I could smell. I did like the drydown, though, and a couple weeks after I first tried it, I decided to get a travel-size to see how it works in "real life", so to speak. I like it much more now--for some reason I didn't get the "pickle" aspect of it this time, although there was that salty marine note initially. That wore off relatively quickly, and now I'm mostly just getting cedar and sandalwood, with a hint of sweetness that might be the fig. It does have a tinge of greenness to it, but mostly it smells a lot like a Pacific Northwest forest right after it rains.

I was fascinated by the description of the scent - it seemed so perfectly 'me' - so this was a confident blind buy. As soon as I smelled it I knew I made the right call - and the more I use it the more I love it! Salted Muse is my current favourite scent to wear - it's such a great mix of woody and aquatic (my favourite accords). The olive notes are striking but so unique, and I really enjoy both the initial scent and the drydown. It reminds me of nature, like walking through a dense forest by the ocean where you can smell both the trees and the sea breeze. There is a lot of depth to it and I keep sniffing my wrist throughout the day! I will say though I'm not the biggest fan of the oil formula - unfortunately the perfume's lasting power and projection are mediocre at best.

Definitely the best one out of the three imo. I allowed myself to only blind buy one and bought Blooming Fire. Totally regret it bc it’s the worst of the three lol. Finally smelled this and the pink Window one today. This one has a really beautiful clean earthy note of lavender mixed with salt and woody notes. I thought it would be a beach aquatic scent based on reviews but it doesn’t give that at all. It’s really sophisticated but smells soapy and clean at the same time. Some have said it smells like pickles but I don’t get that vibe at all lol. If you’re not super into florals and only want one orebella get this one! This has a totally diff vibe than those two.

When I first sprayed this perfume I was a little worried about how strong the pepper note was. It was the only thing I could smell upon first spritz but surprisingly the scent grew on me. After it sits on the skin the pepper fades away and I get more of the fig and olive tree which I love. To me, the scent ends up smelling like Le Labo's Another 13 which is one of my favorite fragrances just a little more salty. I wore it to an event recently and received so many compliments on the scent, My friend even said they could smell it when they were down the hall from me. One of the best perfumes that I have bought.

If you like "Squid" from Zoologist you would really... really like this. It is salty upon first spray and as it dries the woodiness and fig come to the surface. It is definitely not too salty or briny as some would say, but it smells wonderful on my skin chemistry. I do not get a lot of lavender which I am not mad about. I really was not expecting myself to like this perfume as much as I do, but it is honestly one of my favorites now. The price and quality (beautiful bottle) are really unmatched. It is also very unisex in my opinion. I honestly can not stop wearing it!

this is what i imagine a mermaid smells like. i was so tempted to buy some just for my mermaid costume this halloween 😭 but i’m still considering it because i loooove this scent and how unique it is. i know its mostly rated for summer which i can see (mainly for a summer rainy day) but i also think this would work for autumn rainy days, but idk about how it would be once the weather starts really getting colder. i’m definitely going to try it on a super cold day and see how it is before buying it because 😍🩵🧜♀️

This was the only one out of the three fragrances that I enjoyed. Reminds me of Santal 33 but a bit smokier and a bit more powdery. There’s almost a syrup-y aspect as it sits on the skin and fabric. Nothing ground breaking but nonetheless, I bought the travel size because I can see myself reaching for this during summer/fall evenings. Definitely leans unisex. I’ve had on for about 2 hours and I’m still waiting for that lavender and olive tree to come through as those were the notes I was most excited about.

True unisex scent this is sooooo unique it’s a very clean earthy scent you’re definitely able to get the saltiness cedar wood and olive in this but in a very delicious way. I’m honestly a gourmand girlie but I love this scent!! I think if you love scents like le labo santal you’re a shoe in for this, people seem to have similar complaints of it smelling “pickle-y” but I really don’t get that from this at all I think maybe it’s just because it’s a very sharp citrus/olive scent. Personally love this!

when I first sprayed the perfume it smells like a fancy spa or hotel lounge, but the longer I wore it it smelled like burnt hair??? like if you straightened your hair but the heat was too high. I'm sure its just the cedar note coming through but the smell caught me off guard and brought me back to my middle school years lmao. Other than that, its a very nice fragrance but I wish I got more of the lavender note. All I'm really getting is the olive tree and cedar.

LOVE. Woody perfumes tend to lean abstract and thin/reedy but for this, idk if it's the use of essential oils or something else, this reads extremely natural and complex to me. And it's long lasting considering the very natural scent. The moisturizing element of the liquid is really nice. It dries down to a gorgeous fresh sea breeze. I love you Bella Hadid!!!! Edit: Definitely safe for sensitive skin, I accidentally sprayed it right in my eye and feel fine.

My most successful blind buy!! This is such a beautiful, invigorating and fresh scent. Truly gender neutral and an interesting departure from the neverending catalogue of gourmands out there. This may be controversial but salted muse smells like what I want santal 33 to smell like. It has that slightly briny note to it that mellows out perfectly on my skin in a way that santal 33 just doesn't. And, all this in such a beautiful bottle and affordable price!

just WOW, This one is the most unisex of the whole line. It’s very aquatic and peppery with a hint of sweetness. I don’t get pickles, I’m not sure how anyone does... it’s not a typical scent whatsoever so it’s not a safe blind buy UNLESS you know that you love earthy, marine (a bit masc leaning) fragrances. Personally, I want a full bottle for summer because it’s refreshing!! *Reminder, TEST THESE ON YOUR SKIN!! None of them will smell right on paper.

guys i need this to be available in the eu rn i'm not joking. i've heard about this scent when in launched, then had to wait a year to finally get a 10 ml here for 10x the original price i'm gonna go insane soon. anyways the best woody scent ever created on me, the lavender is very prominent, and it just smells like the ocean and lavender fields and olive trees (not olives, olive TREES) and so good ugh please have mercy and bring it here bella 🙏🙏🙏

Love this one! This one had to grow on me, at first it didnt grab me. Very marine, oceanic, watery. So spa like, i get a eucalyptus note even tho thats not in there, very calming woody and fresh. It is unisex but especially in the opening i get a lightly sweet mint & nuttiness (pistachios?) thats addictive and keeps it from going too masculine. I find it to be pretty unique and strong longevity. Cant wait to try this mixed with my jasmine oil!

Blind buy. (Should we throw a party? Should we invite Bella Hadid?) I love "masculine" leaning fragrances, love cedar and lavender notes, so this was the natural choice. The oil base is moisturizing and feels nice on the skin. woodland nymph, daughter of the river. Going to wear this all summer. My only bone to pick is the golden cap component... it's a cheap and light feeling plastic, which is a strange contrast with the weightier bottle.

Love this set out of the OG 3 when it was released at Ulta and Im surprised because the other scents was sold out expect for Salted Muse. This scent is perfect for the girls/guys who want unisex herbal/woody scent and not the floral scents that every perfume brand sells. Its so perfect that I do this trick where I spray some on the brush and then brush my hair so the scent can last all around and its so perfect its my scent at this point.

Thanks to this fragrance I became a fan of salty and woody fragrances. It feels like standing on a shore in Northern France, inhaling the crisp sea air that is combined with the scent of nearby woods. The clouds are going darker and you know you are supposed to head home but there is something magnetizing about this whole scenery. I do not personally get the olive tree scent nor the fig one, hence the association with colder seas :)

If mermaids wore a perfume, it would undoubtedly be this one right here. I usually go for sweet, vanilla-heavy gourmands, but there’s something about this scent that completely pulled me in. It’s got a mysterious, dreamlike quality to it; like something a siren would wear to lure you in without even trying. I didn’t expect to love it this much, but now I’m kind of obsessed, especially with how it wears on my skin in warmer weather.

I love her! I think it’s the humid air rolling in for spring that makes this sing. It’s musky and aquatic but that olive brine is something special. I always love a woody scent, but this is the only aquatic frag to win my heart. It makes me want to feel the sun on my back and let my curls live their best frizzy life. It’s earthy but still sophisticated! Totally unisex, but I feel effortlessly feminine wearing it.

A savory, marine gourmand! Immediately reminded me of Kenzo Homme EDP and Le Sel d’Issey EDP but with more edible facets of olive and a little fig. I’m getting rosemary and thyme; maybe that’s the lavender and pink pepper playing with the woods. Got two compliments after spraying in Ulta yesterday, plus another more than 24 hrs later due to it still being on my shirt. Plays well in heat and humidity.

Got it as a gift and I'm obsessed!!! In the initial spray you can really smell the pink pepper, salt, and olive tree but it then settles into a yummy woody creamy and slightly sweet scent. It definitely has a more intimate sillage as you wear it throughout the day, but I can still catch a whiff of it when it's windy outside which I love! Thank you Miss Hadid.... This is my new summer scent <3

I love this perfume! I thankfully didn’t smell anything fishy, but the pickle smell was there which wore off after about 10mins. It reminded me of a sandal perfume. After about 30mins the santal vide wore off and the wood notes, lavender came through. I don’t really know what olive smells like but if I did it was good. It lasted all day on my skin. I will buy or trade if anyone is interested.

Easily my favorite of the bunch from the Orebella discovery pack. I get aquatic notes + bright pepper in the opening, and sandalwood + fig + olive oil in the drydown. A pretty unique scent, esp for a celebrity line. I’m even considering buying a bottle, but Im not sure if I get past the yucky oil emulsion gimmick of this line - wish it were just a normal alcohol-based perfume.

My bf thinks it smells like weed and I can see why some people think it smells like pickles because there is a strong briny component for the first 20 minutes. When it dries down I mostly smell lavender. It reminds me of swimming in ocean and drying off in the sun. I got it to wear during the summer, might start layering it with Jo Malone's Wood Sage and Sea Salt.

7/10 A MA ZINGG Very herbal scent, almost like I had just stepped out of a Russian sauna after getting my ass beat with birch twigs, only to take a dip and cool off in Pacific Northwest coast. unfortunately it lasts 10 fucking seconds on my skin, pls make an alcohol based roller of this smell, cos the oil base is doing NADA but giving people rashes

This is certainly the best scent from the Orabella lineup. It’s beautifully marine, without being too green or aquatic. The pink pepper and fig combination makes this addictive, and the woodiness is expensive to the nose. While more of a body oil than a traditional perfume, this scent is great for summer and fall while it leans more masculine.

You are sitting in a luxury spa. Lavender essential oils are soaked in a salt body scrub. Eucalyptus hands in the corner of the room. You can smell the wood of the sauna in the distance. The smell is deep, rich and relaxing. It is pure spa. I'm not sure I want to smell like this everyday, but it is a truly relaxing scent. Not blind buy safe!

Layer this... with wood sage and sea salt by Jo Malone. It is MASTERFUL. Let me know if you try it, I couldn’t keep it to myself!

When I think of a fresh crisp scent, this is what I'm thinking of! Smelling it conjures up images of blue scales and stormy waters. It's the perfect wet salty skin essence while still smelling clean. The cedar, salt, and lavender hit the hardest. My only complaint is that I wish it had a stronger staying power!

Smells like vintage Kenzo Homme from the 90s. I had low expectations, but I like this line and Salted Muse is the best of the three. Very salty but in a good, sea breeze fresh kinda way, and not your typical boring aquatic. Leans masculine. This is perfect for a hot summer day. Thumbs up.

This has become one of my favorite fragrances, it's so unique. This perfume feels like you're walking through a beautiful tea shop by the sea in San Francisco, and the door stays open and you can smell the ocean, but also the steam from the tea and the smell olives from someones meal.
