Callis Subtile

My sister got it for me from London while she went for business trip. I and my sister have similar tastes so she found she loved it and I asked her to get one for me as well. That mean I kinda blind bought it. Honestly, the initial spray was a little off putting because of the strong sweetness from the sugar but it faded quickly, although it still lingered thru the whole course but I love mild sweetness so it’s right up to my alley. Love the exotic floral vibe (I think it’s from the mixture of tagetes, floral, amber and moss?). It’s pretty musky in the base, which I also love. It’s a quite unique and I never smelled anything similar. I don’t find reminiscent of the BR540 because I didn’t like it at all. I wore it one night and I got multiple compliments of my scent. Performance is not great but decent. It lasts about 7-9 hours on my skin. Too bad it’s still not accessible in the US yet.

It doesn't smell like BR but it smells like its flanker definitely. A sweeter and quieter version of BR with very prominent Arab twist. I am not a fan of scent profile but I am sure it's a compliment getting scent. UPD: took it for vacation in the Mediterranean - this is where it showed its full potential! Aromatic marigold and gourmand sugar+moss combination, perfectly balanced. And yes I did get compliments with it, from men and women.

Soft sweet amber sugar with a touch of Bambi musk. (FYI: Bambi Musk is a term that I made up when referencing a soft transparent deer musk that smells cute instead of animalic deer musk). 🥰 Like BR but for babies. It’s more reminiscent to the BR Body Oil than the BR perfume, because the oil (to me) smells different, slightly sweeter, simple and soft. This fragrance gives a “lived in” perfume vibe; like when you look and feel your best and have smelled good all day and still smell good at the end of the day... this smells “lived in” like that but from the time you spray it on. The dry down reminds me of TT Kirke dry down, like the same type of musk that Kirke has but without Kirke’s fruit and more sweet amber candy musk. It doesn’t project super loud, but who cares, it still creates a captivating aura and it’s beautiful. The gorgeous bottle is a bonus, I didn’t expect for them to be heavy and luxe. 😍

I received this in a scent club. It is quite beautiful, but so sweet it makes my teeth ache. Tropical, sweet, floral, but blended so well—not cheap smelling the way a lot of fragrances with these descriptors would be. Longevity is incredible, unfortunately-that includes that sugary sweet note—hours in and it still predominates—which prevents me from enjoying it as much as I would otherwise. Caveat: I do not like sweets and never wear sweet fragrances, so someone that does might really enjoy this one.

Is it only me or this perfume becomes a scent skin very fast? As a composition this is so well blend it, is spicy, gourmand, sweet, creamy, sexy, mysterious, floral, ambery. It is so good, my skin loves this but to me it doesn’t last, on my clothes lasts a little more. I have a 10 ml perfume and definitely I’m going to buy the full size cuz is so so good. It doesn’t not smell nothing like baccarat.

There's a note in here that reminds me strongly of something similar in Lamar's Kajal, I'm not sure what it is, maybe the pineapple? Whatever it is it's super strong and lasts for hours. And I find it quite hideous! Which is strange as I am crazy mad for the pineapple in Loumari's Porthole and Nishane's Hacivat and even Tiziana Terenzi's Orion. Go figure!

Got a 5ml through a scent club and it smells like urine on me. If not urine, something sickly sour and sweet at the same time. I’m so disappointed because I absolutely loved how it smelled on the blotter. Ten to one I won’t be able to get this off of me because it’s always the fragrances I don’t like that my skin doesn’t eat. 😂

In the same realm as Bond's Greenwich Village, but does not smell alike.. I like this a lot more. YT's thePerfumeGuy mentions that it has a fruity aspect to it which I perceive as pineapple. Performance is great & the bottle is beautifully decorated with a Swarovski crystal.
