Sabil Nocturne

#1649 in my “Tour de Fragrance” Got this decant from scentsplit.com. I chose this for the notes. So many scents that combine leather, wood, iris/orris that I really love and this is in that group. I think the original 2003 version of Gucci “Pour Homme” was my first of the breed. Many, many since. Oro 1920’s “Bois 1920.” Keiko Mecheri’s “Rappongi Riders.” Jacques Zolty’s “Sparkling Sand.” Tiziana Tirenze's “Siene.” L’Artisan Parfumer's “Dzongkha.” Pierre Guillaume's “Cuir d’Iris”, Comme de Garcons “2 Man.” Xerjoff's “MV Augusta.” I could list a couple dozen more. I think the best of the breed, hands, down, is Maison Incens "Cuir Erinidil” but this is not far behind. I think this scent is versatile enough for any use and any environment, but probably more date wear than office wear. Certainly elevator, small office and carpool safe. Nothing offensive about these kinds of scents, though also nothing daring. Definitely masculine and kinda on the "dad juice” side of the line. But super longevity (lasts al day, though a hike in the hot sun and a brutal workout in the gym), very strong silage. But it’s pricey. Scentsplit wants $230 for 100 ml and some Italian shippers on eBay are charging about the same once you add in shipping. There are alternatives for less, like Etat Libre d’Orange “Rien Intense” around $115, Habibi “White Moroccan Leather" around $114, Parfum d’Emprire “Cuir Ottoman” for around $140, and maybe for tighter budgets even Nayassia “Sakountala” around $77 will do. Крайне странный парфюм который одновременно и отталкивает и привлекает к себе, отлично подойдет для теплых помещений в любое время года и суток либо для для улицы летом и осенью днем, вечером и ночью, но наверное он все же больше к чему-то вечернему, под зимний климат на улице на мой взгляд не очень подходит, аромат по концентрированности на среднем значении, не мягкий но и не настолько душный что от него голова болит. по заявлению, аромат имеет следующие ноты: Top notes are Leather, Orris Root, Palisander Rosewood and Mandarin Orange; Middle notes are Incense, Elemi resin and Vetiver; Base notes are Labdanum, Styrax and Musk. Чувствуюца еле уловимые ноты очищенного мандарина, запаха кожи не ощущаю (как минимум коровей) есть доминирующий аромат не понятно чего, в целом очень интересное отталкивающе-привлекательное сочетания которое состоит из запахов которых я не узнаю, определенно стоит взять пробник на 1-2мл и попробовать. Раз уж у меня он есть я им попользуюсь и на ком-то другом его так же приятно чувствовать, но докупать еще вряд-ли стану. Аромат явно дал мне некие эмоции и это того стоило.

Unisex fragrance. This perfume is earthy, leathery and woodsy. A generic fragrance, nothing wow. Way overpriced for what you get.
