The Perfect Vanilla Elixir

This is a sensual, dark vanilla. You might think that it ́s a dessert type of vanilla when you look at the notes, but it ́s not. This is a great perfume, strong, sexy, deep, ideal for the winter, perfect for layering. It reminds me of the drydown of 2 perfumes that I love (drydown! not top notes): Tresor Vanille Noir, Donna Born in Roma Intense

this is a really yummy vanilla. first spraying it it was almost fruity but not really, just kind of brighter than i expected. it's settling down into this creamy sweet vanilla. imagine a root beer float with zero root beer. just slowly melting, slightly fizzy vanilla ice cream. theres a hint of fountain drink syrup in there. dreamy, i love it

Look at all the gourmand junkies coming here, talking bad about a vanilla fragrance because it's not gourmand LMFAO. Y'all need to get a grip. This is a beautiful, deep balsamic vanilla. Not everything needs to be gourmand ffs.

Ugh!!!!!! I just wish it was available in the US... These notes just sound like Heaven!!!✨✨✨

Reviewing on behalf of The Scent Lounge Facebook group (www.TheScentLoungeFB.com) 🍦 The Perfect Vanilla Elixir Review 🍦 Ok so I think me and everyone else were soo excited about this one because just look at those notes.. then the name.. then the fomo of not being able to get it in the us.. it all seemed like this was going to be the most groundbreaking frag of the year. I’m here to unfortunately tell you - this is NOT the perfect vanilla. However!! This is not bad by any means. Is it a love? No. Does it stink? No. I was expecting the most gourmand, sugary, ooey gooey, sweet vanilla to ever exist. This ain’t it. This is more of a balsamic vanilla. Like vanilla extract rather than sugary vanilla and then you have that Peru balsam that definitely stands out. With all of these yummy looking notes, none of them stand out to me. You mix all of them up and it’s just a big mush of a scent, then add the balsam and there you have it. I was disappointed ONLY because it’s nothing that I was expecting. I will say, I couldn’t stop smelling it once it dried down.. I just kept wanting to sniff it lol. It does smell good to me, but again NOT the perfect vanilla and I don’t want you all who ordered this to be expecting that. Performance wise, it’s on the lighter/moderate projection but it did last on my skin for around 6 hours.

En un principio me pareció fuerte y no distinguí las notas, creo que lo atomice muy rápido; venía llegando de Argentina a los EEUU y estaba ansiosa por conocerlo. Al cabo de dos semanas aparecieron esas notas dulces del Baileys y la crème brûlée lo amé de inmediato. Así que creo que necesitaba macerar y la duración es bastante buena en mi piel; así con los dicat que me llegaron junto con mi pedido pasó exactamente igual. ahora los quiero todos!!! Muchas felicidades a Ori un gran trabajo, sin mencionar que fue muy linda y atenta al hacer mi pedido.

Not at all impressed. The initial spray is actually gross. Dry down is better. I get mostly orchid and Peru balsam. Really not worth the hassle though. Nothing groundbreaking. I probably wouldn’t purchase it even if it were available in the us. For reference I’m a huge vanilla-gourmand junkie. This just wasn’t what I was expecting

It takes about an hour before it starts to get better. The opening is honestly unbearable, I can’t handle that kind of scent. I need some trick to shut my nose off for the first hour after spraying it!

This is a gorgeous vanilla, dry, balsamic vanilla. It’s like a vanilla ice cream without all the sweetness, I love this one.
