Ishraq

What a beauty of a perfume. I blind bought it hoping for a cheaper version of Al Haramain "Junoon Noir" and here it is. Identical but at a quarter of the price. I've worn JN all last winter and I thought to give this one a try. Happy I did. Couldn't be happier. What a gem. Heaven in a bottle Update: 2 hours later i can barely feel it :-( so, the resemblance is outstanding but the longevity is so disappointing unlike JN that lasts and projects all day Update 2: I could not help but using it every single day since I bought it. It literally smells like vanilla powder sugar in the most delicious way possible. Extremelly delicious Update 3: i ordered a new bottle of JN to satisfy my need for longevity and projection. I will use this one also to refresh the smell during the day. The smell itself is 10/10 so i can't accept not to have the strong one also. Will use them both.

This is a beautiful gourmand vanilla with a lemon hint. Milkrice with lemon!!! I can also feel jasmin and violet that I love. The fragrance has an oriental touch. I love to wear it, because it feels smooth and has a good longevity. It feets well in spring and summer, but it's also an all year round fragrance. Somebody says it's similar to Kenzo Flower, I don't think so, but who loves Kenzo Flower will probably love this too - like me :) Pay attention: perfume is very oily!

Almost 1:1 with Junoon Noir. That one is more powdery, this one is creamier. I slightly prefer this one but it doesn't really last. I own them both and love them both. Even if my collection exapanded generously since 3 years ago when I discovered JN, I still adore this smell. So sweet and creamy but, at the same time, luminous and refreshing. Very interesting and unique mixture of sweetness, creaminess and fresness. Just lovely!

A charming, powdery-sweet fragrance. The fruits in the opening add a subtle hint of freshness. The overall scent is enveloping and very comfortable to wear. The projection and longevity are moderate. However, the bottle and packaging do not match the quality of the composition.

I love this one. It opens with the lemony kumquat and then it becomes a creamy orris, slightly powdery vanilla with violets, holding onto the lemon scent from the opening. I also detect some of the white florals, the jasmine and the lily of the valley. Very pretty. This one lasts a long time but the sillage on me is moderate. I agree with Luna Blu below and think this could be worn all year round. To my nose, it is feminine. I also have Orientica's Ishraq Gold, which is a delicious gourmand. Each was under $20 online. I'm very happy with this blind buy.

Powdery violets and orris atop a smooth, creamy base of rich vanilla and milky sandalwood. Everything is enveloped in a light fuzzy musk, giving Ishraq a cozy, dream-like quality. There is also a velvety sweetness that reminds me of white chocolate mousse, whipped expertly into an airy state. The final dry down is marshmallow powder - simple, but pleasantly nostalgic. Would be wonderful as a bedtime scent! It is extremely similar to Al Haramain's Junoon Noir, though JN is fruitier by comparison.

Pleasant, pretty floriental. Has a 90s vibe, took me back to nightclubs in the summer of '99. I think I had something similar in my early 20s but I can't quite place what the similarity is. Quite heavy with big projection.

Defo 1:1 Junoon noir, could tell it’s slightly less complicated though/ cheaper. Still great to have in the bag and spray every 3 hours

I actually like all the listed notes, the thing is just that I can't really tell them apart in this fragrance. Some may say this is because it's well blended; for me, this happens when a perfume contains lots of synthetic material. It reminds me of Gisada Ambassadora for women, which I found suffocating and nauseatingly sweet with a sticky chemical note. That said, this is not nauseating and not cloying (unlike Ambassadora); it is inoffensive (but underwhelming). The price is really good and I think I should not expect top quality. It is now about ten hours after applying Ishraq, and I am now getting an ever-so-soft musky scent that I do enjoy. It is just that the first four or five hours after spraying, the fragrance was just too sticky-sweet for me. Here in central Europe we are currently having a heatwave, maybe I'll test it again in autumn and, if it then still doesn't appeal to me, give my decant to someone I know who will enjoy it more than I do. Edit: I gave my decant away to a person who enjoys sticky sweet linear fragrances. I couldn't get past the first five hours of screaming sweet stickiness.

A successful blind buy! It has a feminine, creamy, sweet and little bit powdery scent. I used 2-3 pumps for a cold night out date and it was perfect, the projection is not loudly but it’s enough for me. 30€ for 100ml, it‘s a hidden gem! The only minus point is the bottle, hate the bottle 😆 update: the longavity and sillage are soooo poor :( I have to overspray it but still poor update: I tried Xerjoff Dama Bianca in the mall, can tell that they defintiely smell the same!

Seeing the reviews, I said that I have to buy it, that there's no way I won't like it. I bought it...I hate it. I have tested several perfumes that have violets and orris and it seems that it is not a good combination for me. But I think it can be worn by someone who loves powdery perfumes

The world of Arabic, oriental fairy tales. Ishraq ("radiance") is the scent of the desert to me. Hot sand, vibrating vanilla broken with kumquat fruit and lime, which refresh this desert heat. This is my next purchase from a proven store with oriental wonders on ottomania.pl. The package smelled amazing. I recommend trying it out, even in the dark. I suggested the description and I was not disappointed. The fragrance collects the sets of the surroundings. Well ... how to pass by a woman who smells like out of a fairy tale 1001 nights? ;)
