Nardo Oud

This fragrance is ridiculously good. If you look at the notes immediately you will think Aventus or Aventus absolu. Maybe in the opening, but then bye bye.... it goes off on its own and it's incredible. I'm telling you these Arabian houses know how to do it and I'm starting to come around to them. Not clones or dupes, but they create their own and it's enough to be totally different , but makes you think of the Creed house. I'm going to say it right now and right here, it does it better in an Arabian Way using Rose and vetiver and a leather darkness in the dry down with ANIMALICS that are so beautiful it takes the DNA and makes it twice as better. This is way better than absolu. If you want to Rave and rant that it's a copy go right ahead, but in my opinion this is Beautiful fresh Darkness in a masculine way. Its a great extrait. Scent: 10/10 Sillage: 9/10 Longevity: 10/10 .... put it on my forearm yesterday at 2:00 p.m. went to the gym at 6 pm. Showered at 8 pm. Still on all pulse points. Went to bed woke up at 10:00 a.m. the next day and I can still smell it on my forearm.

I haven't tried this one quite yet, but I have been extremely impressed with all of the Orientation Exclusive and XO Xclusif Oud fragrances I have tried so far. I'm pretty sure that Maison Alhambra makes all of the Orientica fragrances. The most obvious were the Amber Oud frags released by Orientica and I did a little digging and found out that in the EU, they are literally using the same address for both companies. What did I come on here to say besides the Maison Alhambra discovery? These fragrances are generally all of excellent quality, however, they have all been disgustingly overpriced since over the last few years. The original frags in both lines (Exclusive and XO) used to be priced around 20% higher than other competitors' versions of whatever they were cloning, but of vastly superior quality. Lately, the quality has remained excellent, but the prices have soared far past other clones of the same fragrance, by 200-400% at times. When I visited Miami in January of 2025, they had many of these fragrances that are selling for $180+ online and in retail stores for less than half the price! They were typically $50-90, and that's a price point that is outstanding for the quality, but it also means that many retail stores are changing vastly over cost, because there's no way the store in Miami were selling at a loss. I got the XO Old Fashioned along with one from another brand that offers extremely high end clones for $50 and $75. It's usually part of their buy one, get one 50% scheme, which is still disgusting if you are paying $280 for two frags that should be $80 each. That's my long rant on Orientica.

I was really excited about the word Nardo, which is Spanish, it means tuberose, but when I saw that they compare it with Aventus and Co, I immediately became emotional, I think it will be the first in this line that I am not interested in having even with its beautiful bottle.

This is definitely not anything close to Aventus Absolu or any Creed at that. This is more in line with Y-Elixir. Trust me I sale this at our overpriced store Perfumania store.

I’m about to blind-buy it, but three people voted it’s similar to Opera — which, for me, is quite close to Imperial Valley by Gissah — and we’re already sick of that DNA.🤔

Can’t wait to get it for around $80. Very nice scent, it’s like a fruity leather. Very smooth and does not smell cheap at all.
