Wild Neroli

Updated: 5/5/2024 Fragrances like this is why I love going to local perfume shops. Each carries slightly different "Unique" fragrances. Today, I stumbled on to this one. I knew I wanted something fresh and zingy. We were all over the place, but when we got to this one, that was the one. Of course I over paid in the store prices, but it's an absolute delight. The Bright Lemony-Neroli type of top that on the end of the sniff the deep ambery background appears. This is what sets it apart. Definitely within the spectrum of TF Neroli Portofino/JV Artisan Pure/Commodity Nectar/Bvlgari Man Neroli Woods. If you have one of these, this may be redundant, but again, there's an amber that lingers behind in the background that makes this ever so slightly more alluring in the air. Longevity is around 6-7 hours. Use this anytime you want. It's brightness will uplight your spirits throughout the event/work day, and the base will keep you dapper with some allure. When out and about sometimes, you just have to take a chance on a fragrance as you're out and about at these local shops. You may find that you really find a hidden gem.

#1386 in my "Tour de Fragrance" Wow! Tom Ford "Neroli Portofino" wishes it was this good! Delicious citrus neroli scent. Very white floral. Best I've run across so far. Potent. Major sillage. Unisex but feminine leaning. Nevertheless ordering a bottle for myself and my girlfriend.

Stronger longer lasting than TF for me that's not a bad thing, especially at the price point.

Does anyone own both this one and Neroli Canvas? Could you explain the differences between them? Since Al Haramain and Orientica are from the same parent company and Orientica even offers highend products that rival Al Haramain, often sharing the same juice it is curious that while Neroli Canvas receives so much praise, Wild Neroli doesn't seem to get the same level of recognition. update: it was just okay. To other classic fresh like Brut, Silver Mountain Water, Coty Aspen, or Green Irish Tweed are still better. I find Wild Neroli to be a bit synthetic, especially during midphase. Before testing it, I expected it to be very fresh with a lot of citrus from start to finish, but that turned out not to be the case. fresh citrus only appears at the beginning; later on, it turns creamy and slightly powdery, smelling like an old-school floral laundry detergent. This detergent scent makes me think of something chemical, and if spray too much, it gives me a headache. This is just my personal opinion. If you like this type of scent and enjoy TF Neroli Portofino or 4711, you should get this bottle. Should skip Neroli Canvas (Al Haramain and Orientica are the same company); it is just a waste of money for a flashy box that will usually be forgotten and collect dust in a corner, if not thrown in the trash after the perfume bottle is taken out.

Update After some time, I have gotten a bit more used to it. Since my country doesn't have neroli, I had to imagine the scenery of orange groves often found in European countries to truly grasp this scent. Now, I can actually feel and understand it. Once I understood the story it wanted to tell, I started to like it more. The scent is very gentle and clean. I wish I could travel to Italy, and I would definitely wear this fragrance while I’m there. Santorini or similar places I often saw on TV or YouTube, walking along the coast, breathing in the Mediterranean climate with golden sunshine and the breeze. It’s just wonderful.

I received a free sample with another Orientica fragrance I ordered, and I'm pleasantly surprised. It's like Tom Ford's Neroli Portofino (itself a ridiculously overpriced 4711 clone), but it has outstanding performance for an Eau de Cologne-style fragrance, much better than Neroli Portofino. I applied it 5 hours ago and it's still going strong. It's a really well blended, natural smelling juice that matches Tom Ford quality, but with much better longevity. Outstanding! I've ordered a full bottle.

Not much to say about the fragrance, strong version of TF Neroli Porotfino, which is a strong version of 4711. If you enjoy those fragrances, this is well worth picking up in place of either. Stronger and cheaper than TF, and minimally more expensive than 4711, but astronomically stronger.

An updeted version of the classic Neroli Eau de Cologne, with better performance. Very cistrusy, refreshing and zesty. Totally masculine and mature, and perfect for everyday wearing, and elegant. Very nice.

People let me say I bought the royal blue and it's amazing so I ended up getting others from orientica and they was all amazing and scary close to the ogs so I said let me try this wild neroli and noooo!!! Do not buy it's horrible!! They need to drop the price to least 20$$ I paid 50 for a bottle and sent it back immediately live and learn..

Opening smelled like glue with an intense lemon note wich wasn't very pleasing then later evolves into a very normal shaving lotion type smell...I do not like the opening and the dry down is just very meh so I personally wouldn't buy it (this is coming from someone who bought royal bleu)

Oof. Gets some of the scent profile right but I get a strong pickle-like note in here that makes this a bust. Not much longevity either. Hard pass. Al Wataniah Lazuli (more masculine) and Fragrance World Neroli Riviera (more feminine) do this much better.

Bought this after being very happy with the Imperial Gold in the same Le Motif line. But oh boy! The neroli in this is so damn strong.. Kinda head ache inducing. Nothing elegant about this, unlike the Tomfords. Had to return this bottle.

I bought Royal Bleu and got a sample of this one in a blotter. It smells absolutely great! Like smelling actual white flowers. Definitely want to try this in skin!

The notes on Fragrantica suggest that this is a clone of Neroli Portofino Acqua.
